North Mississippi here... just received team associated reedy radon 550 20t with the stock pinion which is a 17t went from the stock Gen 8 V2 which is 550 17t with a 17t pinion. Both with the 1080 V2 Stock vs the Reedy.. stock has all kinds of wheel speed my remote I set it on about 65-72% and never go full throttle. The Reedy. I have it set on a 100% hit full throttle a lot and one place never got up. I kicked the rig 3 times cause I was walking faster. No wheel speed. But torque, torque for days maybe even years. Thinking about adj the timing by 6deg try the park again and see. But what pinion gear do you recommend for the 20t Reedy
Ready motors are not that good. But they make a 14t motor it would be faster. And the higher the turn count the slower it will be. but I I don't recommend going any Higher on the gear. I actually run about a 14t or a 15t With a 21 turn holme's hobbies trail master motor. And that is still Slower than a stock red cat. .But works amazing. You can get the trail master motors for like 20 bucks. They are the best brushed Motors. My opinion. If you really want speed in the track you can go with a brushless. Hobby wing fusion. Pro. They are espensive at a $150. But they are the best to have to slow control torque and will haul a**.
@@ezboyrc553So the Holmes hobby 21 turn is slower than the 55t stock motor? Are the crawl master sport the same do you know? I was gong to get one but I have a surpass crawler motor at 13 turn and it’s a bit fast after I just put on 144mm tires so I’m looking to get a little slower. I have an Everest 10 but I think the motor is the same, and the stock motor is just way too slow.

I just tried a 19t pinion. and it lost some torque.. with the red cat stock motor. I actually liked it with a 21t pinon. Here at tishomingo State Park
