Just found your Chanel, and appreciate your explanation of granulating washes. I’m new to watercolor, and no long afraid of mixing colors, or going bold. I may not create art, but I’m having fun.

Gobsmacked Don. Greetings from Ireland where we have 50 shades of green and I learnt more in your demo here than endless traditional watercolour books on mixing paint.cheers dude

    Hi Don
Thank u sir.very useful really appreciate u .my question is ? Do we use the greens of our watercolor box instead of mixed greens ? Because i couldn't reach my favorite green with pure greens in ordinary watercolor s.
    Many thanks.

Very helpful thank you. I truly like to try to get muted colors as most pictures I like our all-time antique landscapes. From what I’ve learned today, if I have it correctly Adding gray will mute these colors is that correct.
Is there a brand of muted landscape colors that is out there? Thank you for your help.

Ty Sir, that was definitely $1000 you well spent to teach me! ... 😂😂😂😂
This is exactly what I was looking for tonight, I wasn’t feeling the greens I had put in my palette but wow, Prussian blue makes beautiful green babies!
I don’t know why everyone raves about Hooker’s Dark tho, I think the Light is the way better colour 🤗🤗🤗 (Cotman’s I mean tho, not AJ, haven’t tried that one as I’m in New Zealand)

Don! I am now GREEN with Envy! Ha Ha! What would you say about Gamboge and Ultramarine as a study in what not to do??? Or Lemon Yellow and Prussian or Cerulean??? Just curious! You see, I wouldn't know a wrong GREEN if it bit me! HA HA! Sincerely...Your Western Goofball!
