@@michela9279 feel like you’re underestimating BLACKPINK’s true power. Don’t forget that they can dance exceptionally well and many of their older choreographies will show that, especially Boombayah
@@cloudysupreme9859 No. I been watching them since before debute, my expectation were very high but now everything just seems very lackluster, sorry, I've seen some very enthusiastic groups so I can't help but wonder wtf happened to the BP in the past years.

They are all Japanese and were recruited and primarily trained in Japan. They then received more training in South Korea, where they are currently based out of.
They are marketed as a global girl group with all of their curently released music videos being in entirely English, even though they all speak fluent Japanese, English, and Korean. Some people label them as J-POP, because they are Japanese, and some people label them as K-POP, because they were trained using the K-POP trainee system and are based in South Korea. However, their management is trying to avoid both of those labels and are insistent with being labeled as a global girl group.
Their company is XGALX, which is a sublabel of AVEX, a Japanese entertainment conglomerate.

so here is what I know, Japan has very strict copyright laws so all the videos that we got from XG participating on Kpop shows would not be available to us because of it. Anything that comes out on a TV show or concert usually gets taken down a few days after being uploaded on youtube. If you think about it, if they would have perform on a Japanese show we would not find them. XGALX is already preparing their album , there has being hints and its being said in interviews. Also XGALX is already working on the next XGALX project, 100 participants have being given a scholarship to AVEX. I got this from twitter from a Japanese ALPHA, this basically was shown at AVEX annual investors meeting. Now back to XG, Jurin, Juria, Chisa, Amy, Kokona and Maya are all AVEX artist academy students, the rumor of Hinata being former YG trainee might be true but till now is still a rumor. In one of the last blogs by Jurin she said that she has known the girls for years but Hinata is the one that she met last. She has known the other members since before XGALX project since they are all AVEX artist academy students, they were either in the same dance, vocal or rap classes.

The coffin sense is evocative of their desire to bury stereotypes and other preconceptions around girl groups.
When you listened to their newer songs, Left Right and Shooting Star, then go back to Tippy Toes and Mascara, you’d be surprised how XG pulled off TT and M as the first two songs which are so elite and they grow on you.
The group is considered an international group, although with their comeback “Mascara” they were in Korean musical shows.

MASCARA's music video is definitely a step up in terms of budget (though it's more pop). I understand why they didn't put as much money into Tippy Toes' music video because it's a new company with only one group.
Tippy Toes failed to chart, but MASCARA did well for them. The song reached number 14 on the Japan Hot 100 and number 25 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart.
They've gotten a lot more attention since their recent XYPHER trended on TikTok.

小中学生から5年以上の長期に渡ってavexが育て上げたGGPなので🎉会長の思い入れも相当強い😎
Tippy ToesのMVは、初めての曲なので、XGを知ってもらうために、個々のダンスや歌唱力やスキルとチーム力が
よくわかるMVにしたかったのだと思う。一方、MASCARA MVは、より大衆に対象を広げインパクト与えるための
コンセプト狙いで作られたMVです。そこが大きな違いです。＝新人なのにいきなりKPOPの様に無駄な派手さで
アピールしたくないとの思いが強いのだと思う。
それは「XGは実力で見せつける」が基本にあるからだと思う。個人PVも相当なインパクトを残しているようですね。
それよりすごいのが、世界に向けて配信されるようになって即iTunes ソング チャート17ヶ国で1位だった事です。
未だにベールに包まれているので知られる機会が少ないが知られさえすれば世界トップグループになるでしょう。
I really don't understand why tippy toes failed. In my opinion it was a great first son, letting everyone know hey we are coming you know? .. From what I read on a japanese website was that in reality Mascara was supposed to be their debut song, last minute they changed their mind.
@@ChRisu_Ojisan Tippy Toesは失敗していないと思うのですが？ ただXGがどこの誰かも知らず韓国人のGGPだと勘違いしていた人も多い時期でのデビューだったので、ついていけなかった人が多かった事とCDが即日完売（再発無し）した事が影響したと思います。
CD完売後にも購入希望者が後を絶たず、普通のアイドルだったら、中古品が市場に溢れかえり捨て値で売られるのが通常ですが、Tippy Toesに関しては探しても見つからない状態です。ちょっと前に見つけたときは新品の10倍程度の超高額価格だったのを覚えています。（フォトカードも異常に高額）
日本人だけのGGPと理解され、大衆に向けたMASCARAで話題になった後に、再度Tippy Toesが人気爆発したと思います。韓国でのライブでもTippy Toesの生ステージが見たいとの反響が大きかった。又、後日発売されたLE SEERAFIMのFEARLESSはTippy Toesのインパクトが凄かったのでXGのダンスをパックったと話題になったほどです。

@@hiki2967 AVEXはケチりますよｗ。現在は会長はほぼ関係ないでしょう。というか関係ないと言ってますね。（XGALX計画開始決定には彼は大きく関わったと思います。） デビュー以降、マネタイズする気を一切見せずにブランディングに努めていますので、予算は潤沢でしょうね。資金の出所はAVEXだけでない気がしています。

These girls are Japanese, but do know some Korean, English, and also participate in the kpop industry. And Harvey is also Australian. So basically kinda a world wide group.
Oh so K-Profile finally updated their roles. Wish Maya was added as a Main Dancer.
Everyone is good at dancing and is a unique group. A 7-member group of 4 rappers with different personalities and 3 with different singing voices. Age is 16-20 years old.
HIP&HOP R&B 実力派アーティストなのでBlackpinkには全く似ていないと思う。

Did y’all even listen to the lyrics?! The song was telling all girl groups to be ready, because they’re here to take over. Tippy ties like the saying “stay on your toes” meaning, be ready for what’s coming. The whole song they were taking shots and everything just flew over your heads… 😂 your “reactions” are targeted on little things and not the big picture. Just saying
