This album represents the end scenes and credit rolls of soooo many 80s teen movies. Weird Science, Ferris Beuler, Breakfast Club... etc etc... This is melancholy mixed with happiness. Teen love is amazing, but itseldom lasts. You live in the moment... until it ends and you move on, and grow up. Amazing work.
Really captures the feeling of new love, doesn't it? The butterflies, first date, first kiss, the uncertainty on the horizon that picks up in Lovers pt. II...absolutely incredible.

I was wondering if there a collection of ballads out there.... Good to know there is! I've been co-writing an (upgraded Beverly Hills Teens) fan-fic, and I've been listening to mostly this music. Considering it's primarily a love story, this is a sweet bonus for inspiring my writing process.
Illustrator is better for this type of work. At least as a starting platform. Then you bring it into PS and add all the grit, aging, and try to mimic that pre-computer age print process look. Lots of raster artifacts, subtle noise, and aging textures. :)
