I was just telling a good friend about this... she needs to do this... work hard ONCE... and then easy meals for work and home all fresh cooked and no waste that often comes with cooking for one...
Absolutely love these freezer meals for one or two people because I can eat once and have leftovers for the next day so I months with the freezer meals turns into two for me! Or I can eat one for dinner and the other half of it for lunch the next day
Not to get all personal or anything but I've been going through a divorce and am on my own for the first time really ever. (I went straight from my parents home to my married life) Freezer meals have always been important to me as a low income college student but I appreciate you two beautiful ladies and all your hard work more than ever these days. Thank you very much for the meal ideas!❤❤
So for smaller portions (lunch size meals) I like using Borosilicate Glass containers, because they can go in the freezer, microwave, air fryer, and oven, as well as the dishwasher. My tip for freezing meals in any container is, if it's not completely filled, take a piece of wax or parchment paper cut to fit the container and make sure that the paper is touching the food directly, to avoid ice crystals forming on top of the food. When you go to take it out of the freezer, remove the paper and any ice along with it.
Tetrapak is the company that introduced those cartons lined with foil and aluminium. And the the brand name stuck. Originally , they had only four corners ( greek: tetra). I remember getting my school milk in those little cartons. Those we're the 70ies in Germany. You had to preorder milk, cocoa or strawberry, and the janitor distributed crates with the tetrapaks to the class room doors before breakfast break to have with our sandwiches. In Sweden, I saw tiny ones in a café with individual portions of coffee milk.
I knew there was a slight difference but couldn't remember specifics. A friend of mine moved from Canada to Australia with her husband and was so confused why her baking wasn't working out with her mother-in-law's recipes! lol

Turmeric actually works against inflammation which can help against pain that is caused by inflammation. By taking turmeric to relieve the inflammation it allows any over the counter pain killer to do a better job of dealing with the pain. It was a god send to me after my first car accident when it came to my neck. Took me over a yr before I gave in to try it. I'm a bit hard headed. lol
I just made a pattern from one of my other aprons and then made it reversible. I don't have anything I can share with you. It's still in my brain... Sorry!

There is room for freezer meals in anyone's life. I'm glad they can help make yours a little bit better. Wishing you all the best!
I really like this style of video! We get to see a bit more of your personalities and how freezer meals really go in my home.
Thank you! We like it too. ♥️
Now I want all of the beef ideas...lol...thanks for all of these great recipes! Very helpful
You are so welcome!
We in Australia know that style of packaging as "tetrapak" as well. Specifically as they aren't accepted for recycling here.
They do accept them for recycling here, which is nice.

Well! I do love a history lesson around here. I didn't know that but it makes so much sense! Thank you!
Do you know that I love you ladies? Both! I love these meals and I really appreciate Sharla's inspiring words at the end there. You can do it! Peace.
Thank you so much! ♥️
Love the meals for one or two even though I know you can always portion the regular meals for one
Yeah it's good to know different ways to do it. Thanks so much for watching!
Tablespoon in Australia is equal to 4 teaspoons (20 ml)

Could you do the Korean ground beef as stuffed shells with a lime cilantro avocado sauce?
Well...yes I suppose you could. I especially like the idea of the avocado lime sauce with it. ♥️
@FreezerMeals101 Thank you! So funny thing about the sauce. Cilantro does that metallic taste with me unless it's in a creamy sauce.
I love the meals for one or two people because I'm single and I have a small fridge freezer.
Awesome!
do y’all post a grocery list for the meals or do i just write down what i need from the video?

I'm so glad it's been helping you. I'll stick to just having it in my food. ☺️
I've always just called the containers the broth comes in as cartons.
Sometimes I did but often we call them tetra-packs. 🤷♀️ I'm not sure why.
Apron pattern and video????
