One problem though, foggy windows often happen when its really cold and/or raining outside, so you DON'T want to open the windows. THE SOLUTION IS THIS: Step 1, Turn you defog fan on HIGH Step 2, Set the temperature to MEDIUM heat, Step 3, Run the wipers on the FASTEST setting AND CONTINUE to run them (even after the rain has cleared) for about a minute until the fog clears. You have to get the exterior of the windshield as dry as possible, otherwise the moisture will retain the cold air and prevent the heat in the cabin from transferring to the outter edge of the glass. Basically the fog eliminates when the difference between the interior and exterior temperatures are less extreme.
Couple more tips that I've found actually work. Make sure the car is as dry inside as possible. Use rubber mats so you can quickly throw out any water from snow on your shoes. Lower the sun visors if you're waiting for the screen to de-mist, it helps trap the warm air from the AC and speeds up the process quite a bit.

Open the window as small as you can just to let air in no rain the turn the heater to cold then turn it on to high setting so it's cold inside as well as out side the car will not mist up

Does this apply in warm temperatures, too (summer)? Where I am it cools down pretty drastically at nights and gets hot during the day. Until the sun has completely risen, the condensation on the exterior is pretty serious. Windows down seemingly makes things worse and sometimes I drive with wipers on. I can't figure out the right balance to keep the fogging down.
If your car has an "auto" mode on the AC. Try to use it. Had the same problem for almost a year until I read my car's manual. Also, i always keep my temperature between 20to23 degrees celsius and on "auto" mode.
Warm air can contain and hold more moisture. A/C decreases the amount of moisture. So find the sweet spot in this combination and that's all you can do. But, as written in one of the replies, make sure the inside of your car is fully dry. Wet fabric or doormats are just terrible and fogging everything up.

anti-fog products never work. why? they "work" cause they resist fogging up for a short time after application, but 1) you can see greasy residue in night driving while lights come through it and, the worst, 2) the moisture condenses on the surface and starts to drip onto your dash instead of fogging. So you get partly greasy dripping all over the dash and greasy streaks on the glass while it flows down.
But you also still need to get that moisture out of the air. You can buy 1 lb and 5 lb bottles of desiccant beads on Amazon for relatively cheap. Then take some muslin bags, the eight-by-ten are perfect, or use a couple of old socks preferably tube socks with one inside the other. You're going to want to use a couple of them in the vehicle with the beads. They will absorb the moisture that builds up inside the car. Right now I have a vehicle that I just purchased in June that really has severe moisture problems on the Windows overnight. I've honestly never seen a car this bad. So I'm going to be purchasing the beads to try to alleviate this issue.
@@PanTheOrganizer was looking for tips on how to prevent moist from building up in windshield & windows as it's becoming a safety issue while driving. Your channel may have actually saved lives & prevented injuries & damages. Pls keep up the good work.
wait. i'm confused. you want to turn off recirc to pull in cold air, and yet run the heater on high? so aren't you sucking IN cold in, thus defeating the purpose of running the heater full out?
You’re sucking the colder air from outside (which is dryer air) and heating it up. Entire process is meant to remove as much humidity from inside the car as possible. Think of what an HVAC and air exchanger do for a home.
Okay, think I got ya. Thing is, right now its 7 degree's F outside with 82 percent humidity. That's going to be drier than the inside of the car? I have a hygrometer I suppose I can check. Thanks!

I'm new to gyeon products I just started using their q2 tire and really like it. How long does the anti fog last per application?
On the website it reckons about two months
1 to 2 months in real life conditions.
I am trying to buy time and also save money to get my heater core fixed but my windows are fogged up when I get off of work in the we hours in the morning
How long does it last?
Can the Gyeon anti fog go on tinted windows too?
Not sure. We usually only apply this to the windshield. You’d have to email Gyeon customer service and ask.
Brilliant video thank you
Thanks! How did you discover my channel?
Ceramic, silica and is it easy to remove in thr future?
I don’t know the chemistry behind this, it’s an industry secret I guess. Must not be ceramic because it only lasts 1-2 months.
Thanks Pan, always a pleasure.
👍🏻
i have a leak in my heater core i have heat but cant use it .. what can i do now
I need a update to this video for interior tinted windows please 🥺🙏
Same applies
Hey pan Marvin Clarke here from Marbs General Cleaning And Auto Service Limited here with a question.
1. Can I use carpet and upholstery cleaner as a clay lube
2. What chemical I can use to condition my foam pad if I don't have a pad condition from chemical guys
1. No
2. Any quick detail spray can do
Why we using heater to increase humidity and then ac to reduce it?!
Pan, what kind of coating is it? Thanks Kurt
What do you mean?
Okay google is listening to my conversations. I was just talking about this.
Yes, your phone will do the same thing, and it shows on your computer because they are probably linked. Same goes with having Alexa when it's paired.
Everything is listening. Even your facebook messenger. Try telling someone you want to buy a gaming pc. The ads you will get are about pc lol
Cedric Opilan Who knows , they probably have half of us chipped through all these vaccines.
Ugh! What about us WITH BROKEN A/C or BLOWER MOTORS?!?

What country are you watching from Eddie?
I'm from the United States of America.
Hello from Canada 🇨🇦!
Do I have to do it on both sides of windshield
The defogger is used on the inside of the windows.
Thanks 👍
My pleasure Darren!
I'm doing this TODAY! Thank you!
I'm in Florida with the heat is just impossible!
Thanks for the tips, would these work with rain too?
No
I had my doubts but now I'm a believer
Best thing is to put a layer of shaving foam and rub it clean with microfiber towel. It really works.
I just tried that last week on one window, it does work
I tried it and it worked, but it ended up being a close shave.😂😂
Thank you!!
I turned on ac and heater and it worked
Thank you
You're welcome

Pan TheOrganizer I found your channel looking for a cquartz uk application tutorial and found your gem of a channel
Thanks for the positive feedback!
What country are you watching from?
Hi from Canada 🇨🇦!
anti-fog products never work. why? they "work" cause they resist fogging up for a short time after application, but 1) you can see greasy residue in night driving while lights come through it and, the worst, 2) the moisture condenses on the surface and starts to drip onto your dash instead of fogging. So you get partly greasy dripping all over the dash and greasy streaks on the glass while it flows down.
I'm in Florida... the fog is on the OUTSIDE. Wipers and Rain-X don't help. Heat does, but it takes a few minutes.
In an emergency, swipe a cigarette against the fogged glass.
What if you dont have a/c . Or a/c isnt working? :(
Keep a towel in your car, instant and easy.
Open the windows
Isn’t ac better for defrosting ?? As in heat will make it worse
My windows are all tinted, does that affect in any way..?
Does it work in tinted windows!? My wife’s card has the front windshield tinted.
Thank you so much for supplying such a useful helpful tip I was actually surprised but it really worked thank you so much
That clears it up 👍
Heheh I like the little pun intended there! :).
Super useful!! Thanks!!
Thanks Ahron!

Thanks!
Great Vid man - Should be a laugh winding down windows in the Winter, then telling the Wife to Chill Out 🙃😆❄
Liked & Subbed 😎
Glad you enjoyed it! Welcome to the Pan The Organizer family Peter!
Top tips. Thank you Pan.
Thanks for watching Phillip!
I have a jeep liberty!!! its an older model. I can't run my heat&air at the same time. What else can i do?
So basically I’ve just looked this up and your Soloutions’s is to turn on the heater.
We’ll done
yeah good tips if you have A/C, which i don’t have so what do i do then
Keep your windows slightly open
Use some shaving cream, apply it with a microcloth and rub it off.
Great vid pan, thanks 👍👍👍
Thanks for the positive feedback!
Make a video talking about wash a car during rain days
More of these please! Very informative

You're welcome!
I’m so glad you made this video I’m 21 and I never knew how to really get them unfogged lol so thank you 😂😊
Glad I could help!
Use the heater and open the windows it works
One more trick ! Spread shaving cream on the windshield and then clean it afterwards...
