I have been a posh buyer for years, as a buyer all I care about is a clean nicely packaged item. I don’t need all the extra notes and freebies, no offense, but most of it is just junk I don’t want. 6 weeks ago I finally opened my own closet, my sales and feedback have been great. I thank people when they initially purchase, I mail the same or next day, and I package my items nicely, I think that is all people really want🤷♀️❤️
I was a buyer before I started reselling and although the hand written thank you cards and extra little gifts are a kind gesture, they never made me buy again from someone. I don't remember or made notes about who sent those things. So when I started reselling I never did those. It seemed like a waste of money. I did wrap items in nice tissue paper and still sometimes do on smaller items. But that doesn't always work for bigger things. If the item I receive from someone is packaged well, clean, and I got a good deal that's what metters. So I do the same when selling.
Thank you for the video, I personally used to send personalized thank you card on my first year in Poshmark and I’d add little gifts here and there depending on how much the rose was. On my second year I stopped doing that and I decided to purchase tissue paper and thank you stickers. Mya buyers received their items in a clear bag wrapped in tissue paper and a sticker in the middle. I also put a thank you on the polymers/ boxes and I also send them a thank you note and update them that I’ve shipped their order and that’s all for now.
I like to customize my thank you notes based on the purchased item. While a generic card makes sense, I believe it’s important to show extra appreciation for high-end purchases.
I just recently ran out of my business cards with my Poshmark closet printed on them. I too started thinking, why am I doing this, so I stopped. I now have thank you stickers I purchased on Amazon and have been using those. The things I have purchased on Poshmark have come with a hand written thank you note and I think oh how nice, but I probably will never purchase from that person again. I have also received purchases with flower stickers on the outside box as well as on the plastic bag and those made me think of a kindergartners art project. Regardless, I'm now a thank you sticker seller.
I think presentation and first impressions are very important. I no longer write thank you cards but I have personalized thank you stickers that I put on the reusable bag I pack the item in. I also include a tiny bag with a few “thank you” mints(the ones like you get at Chick fil A). I have thousands of 5 star reviews and buyer’s comment frequently about the nice packaging and sweet treat.
I like the gesture of the postcards but as a buyer I have never kept one of them and always throw them out so I have never invested in them. I only do the large thank you stickers. I would be interested in knowing what everyone does with packaging and if packaging makes a difference on if someone is a return customer. I see some people do not do anything and others go above and beyond with gift wrapping. I personally do not like it if someone just puts the item in a box without bagging or wrapping in tissue paper so I always put my items in clear bags and find that to be a better investment that postcards.
Great topic - I now just add stickers to my tissue paper that say god bless and another that says thank you. I used to do handwritten notes at the beginning of my business to get, as you said, that posh ambassador status.
Hi ive been selling 7 years now i do wrap in tissue paper, i buy just generic thank you card thank you, i do hand write a personal thank you on the back. With a discount for loyal customers. THANK YOU STICKER too. IM WITH YOU I USE TO PAYA FOR CUSTOM THANK YOU A WASTE OF MONEY. Their going to remember you by the service n item.
Thanks for the breakdown! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
I did this a long time ago but I think that I copied someone's name that had done it and then pasted it into the name field in the profile....its been a long time but I'm pretty sure that's it.

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. Thanks for the feedback! I am definitely changing my ideas on gifts & cards.
Glad it came at the right time

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I agree that clear bags are a great way to present items.
Just a little thank you sticker.
Simple but effective!

Awesome!
Thank you stickers. I also sent a thank you to anyone who gave me 5 stars. Done email through Poshmark My Sales window. People love this!

??
How are you able to hide your profile name at the top off your closet and just apply your closet picture name?
