Is there a Sorrentos in Explorer of The Seas? Do they have the famous thin pizza?

There’s no restaurant branded as that sadly no. I did google that to check but that looks like a concept on the newer ships. It does however have the promenade cafe which serves pizza round the clock…not sure how it would compare though..

Does the exploere have deck chairs or chair loungers on the outoside deck that took you up to the bownof the ship, i think it is deck 5 ?

Another 'JC' Wish You Were Here Special...ha!! I always think cruising is just a package holiday on water, some cruises are rather boisterous, especially the American ones. Yours did look slightly more subdued. Alas, not for me, I can get seasick. Years ago, we travelled by sea on some of the great liners when we moved from country to country. The French menu looked rather confused, slightly Fusion!...and Santorini, did you visit?....my brother-in-law is from Santorini.....that place has changed over the years as has the wealth of some of the residents!!! Not that I'm nosey, but did you not think some details like where you joined the cruise, how you got there, how long it was, ports visited would also be interesting or was the point just to show the ships features?

Hahaha love it! Yeah the Royal ones are fairly chilled, there’s definitely an operator to suit every major taste for sure. This one was on the Adriatic so seas were like a millpond. My last experience on this ship however back in 2014 were however a little different…40ft seas in the Atlantic 😅
It’s a good call around the ports and how to get there etc, I did consider it but much of the footfall on these types of vids is quite ship specific as the itineraries change as do the ports of departure so generally less relevant to the great TH-cam public ha.
Great point on Santorini, it’s pretty boujee now one must say!

Thank you Dreamer for a very detailed and comprehensive introduction to Royal Caribbean’s Explorer of the Seas. It’s great to see you branch out into sea travel as well. Your reflection on how the cruise company have managed to maintain similar prices to those charged 10 to 15 years ago with only minor changes such as in the Dining Hall is very fair, perhaps that also explains the slightly tired look in the staterooms. You pay your money and take your choice I suppose and I am sure there are plenty of newer ships in RC’s fleet if that’s what you want and are prepared to pay a premium price for the pleasure. Keep the videos coming Dreamer this one told me everything I needed to know about Explorer of the Seas, a great review!

Always love your videos!!! Your British sense of fair play and good manners always shine through.
As devils advocate .... would love to see you review something really shi*te like an Air Canada flight 😮.
