If you aren’t already planning it, then you must go to the new Dubai Hills Mall coaster ‘The Storm’, it’s an Intamin vertical launch that’s just opened - I can see it from my apartment and the lighting package at night is very impressive! As you say, so many Dubai rumours are untrue such as vaping. Have an amazing solo trip! This city is perfect for solo travellers, but if you want a beer let me know. Enjoy the new coasters at Motiongate as well!

Nice video. Asking BA for a free upgrade is one of the best ways not to get one! They always prioritise the Exec card holders first (the shinier the card the better). However as you were travelling alone you would have been higher up the pecking order if there had been operational upgrades going on!

NHS COVID‑19 test certificates for travel from the United Kingdom to Dubai will not be accepted. Does this mean Vaccination certificate or just the test?
I think it means the test… if you have an approved covid vaccination certificate you should be fine but I would double check with your airline and the rules in Dubai 😊😊
I rather enjoyed this vlog. I like those flying vloggers, lol...so I recognized the name drop of one you did. Well done, and done boldly. Those other vloggers tend to speak quietly, and then put up clips, which is fine. But I like the full on honesty you don't stop with. I feel it tho, the idea of traveling on your own...very nerve wracking for me as well. When I went to Oktoberfest, while I met up with a group...the whole travel experience, being on my own, having to get to the hotel...I was so nervous the whole time. Even on the train to the city from the airport, I was like...I hope I'm not going the wrong way.. But it turned out really nice and it looks like it did for you as well. So next time, you'll be even more confident.
No lol the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the road haha !! Only reason why some countries drive on the right side of the road is because Napoleon was left handed lol

I showed my covid certificate which is on the NHS app just after we got off the plane at Dubai and that was it lol

Terminal 2 should of been built like Terminal 5, ie with the underground people mover, it's a long old walk from A to B at T2, especially on arrivals
The plan is to build more terminals like terminal 5 and there is a metro line that goes all the way along the airport
