  • My lawn is more weeds than grass by now. Nothing that a tank and some fire can't fix...
    *Note: Fire is inherently dangerous. If not used in a safe manner and in a suitable environment (wet conditions away from flammable materials such as dry brush), it can lead to extreme damage like forest fires. Be careful and aware of your environment

    Neat. Though I can't help but think that you might want to follow up with a quick blast of water. And maybe some hydroseed.

    This is incredible! Suggestion for a mark II though: you don't need to burn the weed away entirely, it just needs to be cooked. More fuel efficient and hopefully less collateral damage :P

    Good work! Remember to rake leaves before the mission! Make geofences to keep out of fences or flammable materials.

    Laser would be better than the flamethrower... so you don't have too much burnt spots all over the lawn and possibility of setting off another wildfire.

    • @DavesArmoury
      @DavesArmoury  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The climate here is plenty cold and wet to do this safely. Also, "better" is pretty subjective. Better at not making spots? Yes. Better at satisfying my disdain for weeds... nope

  • @ThiemenDoppenberg

    Nice video. But this way you are just burning everything, making it more fertile. These flamethrower/heat throwers are meant to destroy the cell walls so the plant dies, without actually burning the plant. You can apply the heat from a longer distance for just a few seconds. But with your way in this video, you will have a backyard full of black burnt spots and fertile ground which grows even more weed in the long run xD

    • @DavesArmoury
      @DavesArmoury  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Probably. The scorched earth tactic here was more for my emotional support.
