YES! He set the NFL record for most yards combined in one season Rushing, receiving, return yards! His jersey was hung in Canton after that season! No bigger heart than Freddy! Fitz has huge cajones too. Never gives up, ever. May throw some picks, but huge balls.

Man, I used to love watching Fred Jackson play. He was always underrated, and the fit the Blue-Collar persona of Buffalo to a T. I hated when he went down that season because he was finally a primary back for once. Either way, he was a great teammate, really hard-working on and off the field and loved playing for the Bills even during so many down years.
He was the best man I still rock a Fred Jackson jersey to this day

Great game. Hard to believe it's already been 7 years. I really thought the Bills were going to go places with Fitzpatrick. He seemed like the guy that Buffalo had been looking for since Kelly retired. The team started off well when Fitzpatrick was hot that year. Then they just completely crumbled along with Fitzpatrick the second half of the season. Which was after Fitzpatrick got that huge contract. I think it was either before or after the game against the Redskins in Canada.
It's the Fitzcurse. You ONLY play Fitz when the expectations are exceptionally low.
That's just how Fitz is man, he did the exact same thing to the Bucs this season and the Jets a few seasons ago. He starts the season out exceptionally strong (he even looked like an MVP in Tampa those first two games this year) and then just falls completely apart. He's such an odd player. He's like consistently inconsistent.

I was drunk from the first quarter in California - 10:15 am until like 6 pm that night. I watched the highlights over and over the WHOLE week, looked for any and all power rankings I could find... And every now and then I would let out a little giggle with a giant grin on my face!!!
The greatest game of the drought. I was an hour and a half late for work watching this and didn't care if they fired me I was NOT peeling my eyes away from that TV. That TD that was overturned was a blessing in disguise for the Bills. FYI Fred Jackson was so fluid in his running and could turn the smallest crease into a 20 yard gain. I always thought he was better than Marshawn and never understood why they drafted him along with Spiller. He should've been the featured back right from the get go.

Joel Embiid he was released by Buffalo a few years back. He was claimed by Seattle and played there maybe one or two years. He is now retired from the NFL. He was the kind of player and person you could easily root for!

I know people think oh we love him and overrated him because he was a bill but he actually was a very complete football player. Like you said an amazing blocker, ran it well and had a different style that worked and he was an awesome pass catcher. Back when we had a screen game. Super reliable and consistent. Certain bills came at the wrong time. Wish guys like williams, jackson, shobel and a few others were around now.

Brady had some of his worst games against the Bills! ,(when he wasn't killing us lol), Fitzmagic was beating New England IN FOXBORO by a point in late 4th quarter, and he goes side arm gunslinger at the 10 or 15 yard line of the Patriots trying to crush the Pats w/ 40 seconds to go i think, something like that...and Fitz throws a PICK SIX that NE runs back like 85 yards for a TD and the win before the clock expires. That was one time i wanted to slap him in the head, otherwise love Fitzy!

I remeber this game so much, My dad is a huge fan of the Buffalo Bills and he was hospitalized the all week before this game, so the first game that we saw together after he comeback home was this.
Never forget that one. Brady tosses 4 picks, says the Bills 'Mafia' kept him up all night at his Buffalo hotel w/ car stereos in the lot and setting off fire alarms in the hotel where Brady was. So they did so what? Freddy Jackson was so great!!

Fred Jackson and Stevie was soo damn good together tss I miss them.
Back then that was our Super Bowl. Now Brady and Belicheck are gone and we own the division. Still one of my top 10 favorite Bills games of all time. Only the 2nd time we beat Brady straight up and it was separated by 8 years.

- A 3 possession comeback
- underdog wins
- high scoring close game
- great defence (6 turnovers)

- bills win 103 - 0
- Gisele makes out with me and we both give the finger to Tom.
- Steven A Smith interviews us the next day and she and I profess our love and Ryan WILL BE my best man at the wedding.

There are a number of Bills we loved in this game. Fitz, Stevie, Fast Freddie, Moorman, Aaron Williams. These guys played hard, they were a fun team to watch. Chan Gailey gave us a glimmer of hope

Was at that game! When we were down 21-0 everyone was like here we go again. Then the defense just got this spark and went on a turnover frenzy and momentum went the Bills way was the most exciting game to watch. When Fitzpatrick hit Fred Jackson on the slant for the win I'll never forget that play. I remember before the game winning field goal people were ready to run on the field and take down the field goal post.
I remember the years when Brady and Brees literally had their receivers to rely on. No run game, no defense. Just QB and WR

It's amazing how fast time goes! A lot of those plays i can recall jumping up and down or cringing like the 4th down touchdown. I really thought the Bills had finally found their QB. What a game!
As a Pat's fan, it's good to separate yourself from your team and see what other teams are doing really good. Great win by the Bill's.

I went to the Bill-Eagles game in early October in 2011. Definitely remember Buffalo's hot start that year. They beat the Birds to go 4-0 iirc. It was pretty much downhill from there. Glad McDermott has things going in right direction. While I'm not a hardcore Bills fan (although I do pull for them) I do love going to games there. Great fans and atmosphere!!
I feel like you missed the big story from the last two minutes... remember when Bill B was arguing for what felt like five minutes with the official, probably insisting that FredEx DID get in, so they could get the ball back? Also remember how finally the official turned his back and signaled that the Patriots had taken a timeout, despite how counterproductive that would be to their goals? I still to this day maintain that Bill basically got T'd up like in basketball, only by other means. Unless it's explicitly in the rules that an official CAN charge a timeout for delay of game.
Right, I remember this game now. Belicheck finally getting put in his place by an official. One of my favorite moments from that season.

Two things I remember most about this game. The first was the announcers telling everyone that someone had passed away recently (then) from the Pats organization and that one guy in the front row with injected muscles.
