David, a fantastic walk which is always a great challenge, good time of year when the ferns haven't sprouted. I was there again last year and there are no trespassing signs on the track from Marconi's near to the waterfall - i politely ignored them. If you are returning from the top, again there was a no trespassing sign where you would drop back to the coast. @@gerrymcveigh There is a REALLY grumpy old farmer up there and he is deranged. keep your heads down if you go into the no tresspassing bit. He will chase you off otherwise.

Gordon, that's the starting point and for me is the best way to approach Fairhead - along the coast and then climbing up from sea level :-)
