This is great, I believe in mental health we should be focusing on recovery, gives people hope that they can still live a fulfilling life which aids their journey to feeling better. Thank you Rob.

Thanks for sharing the 5 dimensions of recovery in context: Clinical, existential, functional, physical and social. Though I think the elements in the list of five might be incomplete. For example under 'functional; we can add financial assistance for those who might need immediate or long term financial assistance, and the different religions under Existential since I am in Asia. For me I guess the immediate lacking in me falls under the Social dimension and I am still looking for permanent support groups or peer programs. I am currently exploring employment and volunteering under the functional dimension.

A wonderful video, thanks Rob. In Psimatica we have just published in Spanish the great book "Recuperación / Recovery: nuevos paradigmas de salud mental", by Antonio Maone and Barbara D'Avanzo, editors. (www.psimatica.com / psimatica@psimatica.com)

There is no mental illness. "Mental illness" is simply a metaphor. Psychiatry is wrong in this regard.
