Chas has a lot of damn nerve, she has been awful to Charity and now expects her to bail her out, where was Chas’ family loyalty? Also, can this guy just go away already.
It is still so bizzare to me that the show took the route of Vanessa being single and Charity being the one to be in a relationship upon her return. Like Charity cheated on her and yet Vanessa is the one that has to somewhat wait for her to break up with him?? Also doesn't help that Mack is ridiculously boring played be a crappy actor.
Also I think they made it worse by having Vanessa"s girlfriend cheat on her with Nate I know Vanessa and her girlfriend were on break at the time and as much as I want Charity and Vanessa to get back it would have been interesting to see Vanessa will a girlfriend and to see how jealous Charity got
Wth, Chaz? You should know better than to approach Charity in this fashion, especially about money, and after the way you treated her when she needed some "family loyalty"! Geez!!! You should know that if you want Charity on side, you've got to let her believe it was HER idea and let HER offer to help you. You shoulda just asked for her advice... say that you came there needing one of her pep talks she promised you the other day. Then you could've turned on the water works, just a bit. And I think Charity would have responded better, although... she still might have turned you down, if she didn't have the money, at least you wouldn't have got her back up! Now it's gonna be a hard row to hoe to get her to change her mind, because you really hurt and pissed her off by throwing the "family loyalty" card in her face!!! Very bad idea!! Although I believe she'll come around in the end, as she often does, with her usual flair... this sure could have gone better, if you'd been a bit more tactful, humble and maybe even apologized for the past? Charity's got a big heart, hidden safely behind all those walls she's erected over many years of abuse, pain and disappointment, but you won't get to it if all you do is bang away at those walls. Charity has to WANT to let you in. So glad to see a genuine smile on Charity's face, after all this time! Lovely... just lovely! Made my day just a little bit better! Thanks, Emmerdale. And thank you, Emma for the way you breathe life into this oh so complex character!!
I hope Chas and Charity would come and work together at the pub again but her approach to Charity isn't that good though, she's been awful to her sister then. Vanessa still makes Charity smile even just planning a playdate for the kids in text. Mack should grow up, jealousy don't help though he can see Charity's because of Vanessa.
I'm so glad Charity won't bail Chas out. Her treatment of Charity when she needed her most was despicable. Having said that, we need The Woolpack back and in Dingle hands. So I'm wondering. It goes up for auction and is bought by a mystery bidder. Aka Charity. Using the Casino money which has never been accounted for? It'd be great if Charity could own it!
