Welcome to a sneak peek unboxing of a beautiful and picturesque new diamond painting release from Diamond Art Club! This is "The Old Wood Mill" by artist Dominic Davison. It reminds me of a mill near my hometown, and sparks a lot of nostalgia and fond memories for me. This kit has so many gorgeous details and special drills charted, I think it would be perfect to display in your home!

Wow this is gorgeous ❤. I have only begun diamond painting. I've done about 6 and I'm currently on my first DAC. I've not done a landscape but this is tempting because it's pretty and all the special drill
Ye Old Mill sells Velvet Ice Cream. I've been there several times. There is a beautiful Mill in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee that is a restaurant. This is a beautiful painting. ❤

Holy confetti!!! I just finished a landscape that was confetti heavy. It was beautiful, but the confetti was exhausting. That being said, this DP is gorgeous. I look forward to seeing this piece finished (by someone other than me!😂)
I appreciate landscapes and think they are pretty, but I have never been tempted to do a landscape diamond painting. So I will admire this from afar 😂 Be sure and tell us when you start this, it’s right up your alley 🫣
Gorgeous painting! I don’t think I will be picking it up because I have a few landscapes in my collection and I haven’t done them! I need to do at least one before I buy another one!!
Z165 does have a hint of green in it. You're not the only one that sees it. I'm on the fence about getting this one. My grandfather did a whole blue and white painting of an old mill that hangs in my parents' home, and I miss it. I've actually thought about getting a custom done of the one my grandfather did.

I used to drive by that mill in Ohio all the time. This is so reminiscent of it! Such a beauty (and now I want ice cream, lol)

Dominic Davidson is one of my favorites but your right, his paintings are the most confetti heavy I have found, from DAC. I have completed 3 of his so far, Old Pumpkin Farm, Old Shoe House and Festive Fireplace. I would love to see you work on this! Hope you have a great weekend!

I love the way landscapes look, but they take a long time, and the confetti is usually a little crazy. I did Fuji Flora. I have Inspiration Of Spring Meadows, Sakura Festival, Cottage By The Lake, and Island Life to do still. I've told myself I'm not allowed to buy a new landscape painting until I've finished those four.😂

Love the canvas. No, have not worked on a Dominic Davis canvas.
When I visited Nova Scotia in August of 1978, my cousins took my sister and I to an old grain mill which builds in 1730s.

Tastes change! ☺️ And this one really does remind me of home. I haven’t been reaching for really large kits (of any genre) lately, but I’m sure I’ll go through a phase again where I enjoy those big projects again!

You’ve been doing DAC for so long, that you know they are very consistent, trying to figure out why you still measure the canvas….
There’s been a couple of times that I’ve caught an error, actually! It’s rare, but I think of it as a quick and easy thing to check and something I do with every canvas regardless of company and how many I’ve done from them ☺️
It’s okay of she’s repetitive. She approaches these sneak peeks as if a new person were watching if you don’t know that by now. I just fast forward through all of that. Thanks for all you do Katie!
