I remember these episodes were broadcast on Granada TV in 1993-1994, Nora flynn soon to be top dog prisoner was at its lowest point by then, the prisoner series was then rerun by Channel 5 in 1997 when it got to the part i am at now i stopped watching so i haven't seen these since 1993-1994, but soon the arrival of Rita Conners it gets good again.
The writers seem to think its ok that almost every person on this show ends up knowing someone outside of wentworth that commits some awful crime (or just blamed for one) and ends up not only in wentworth, but cell block H.. Dont know why the writers have so many, but alot the incoming inmates are people that have ties to either screws or inmates.

I think this was the scene that the actress didn’t think was right for Lou’s character, and was her only real objection. This was in an interview with Talking Prisoner. Lou was selfish and a cowardly bully, but she wasn’t a monster.
If it continues, it is an illegal interrogation the moment the suspect asks to speak to a solicitor/lawyer. The right to remain silent, should be exercised to the extent.
How many different styles of "uniform" do the prisoners have? In the laundry scene around 33 mins we have 2 women wearing the blue checked shirt, two wearing the greeny/brown checked shirts, Myra in the yellowy/brown checked shirt, and the two arguing biddies in pink and lilac short-sleeved shirts.
I get the feeling that they made a concerted effort to brighten up the show and make it more colorful. This season brought quite a dramatic change in the overall look of the show. The sets look brighter, colors are more vivid and the women's uniforms have become multicolored. Contrast this with earlier episodes when everyone wore the same and the sets were much darker. People were often in complete shadow in the laundry and corridors, and there were long shadows everywhere.
I would say Anne Phelan was thinking how lucky she was to be leaving with these new Characters on set,Boy that Willie,Lexie,Daphne and Jennifer lot !! May and Nora would have been good if the writers cared more a bout them,
I don’t think I took to any of them. Daphne with the silly plants and immaturity, Julie clearly didn’t come across as a criminal, Willie was annoying and completely unbelievable, Nora was wooden, and May was bland. May was probably the only bearable one.
Dappy Daphne and Lexie should go and stay in maternity with the other babies. That's what makes this show the best....Far-fetched storylines, hammy acting, inept cops, corrupt screws.......The new Wentworth's characters seem to be all arse-about-face. (Mixed up somewhat !!) I don’t think I took to any of them. Daphne with the silly plants and immaturity, Julie clearly didn’t come across as a criminal, Willie was annoying and completely unbelievable, Nora was wooden, and May was bland. May was probably the only bearable one.
Dappy Daphne and Lexie should go and stay in maternity with the other babies. That's what makes this show the best....Far-fetched storylines, hammy acting, inept cops, corrupt screws.......The new Wentworth's characters seem to be all arse-about-face. (Mixed up somewhat !!) Can't beat the original PCBH !!!
I agree with you these episodes don't even come close to the ones with Bea, Lizzie, Doreen, Helen, Chrissie, Judy and Vera.
@@chanineclark4633 - The first 20 episodes had the worst acting...After that it improved- everything except the fight scenes still suck ass. The best fight scenes have either been all of Bea's or all of Joan's...

Meg and Dennis are the most mismatched couple of the series. it's like there's negative chemistry between them.
