The guy had mobility issues and was too heavy to carry! Maybe 6inch of water but the current is fast and they couldn't drag him out ! Use the little brains you have and show some respect or at least compassion. I bet if it happened in the States or in the UK , you' d be cheering about how great the rescue was and how awesome American or UK firefighters are. And then one wonders why many people in continental Europe dislike the Brits and the Yanks...
This kind of rescue will be the norm when all cars are electric

The opposite. EVs don't get hydraulic lock because their motors don't need air for combustion. Just look at all the Tesla's going though that famous ford.
