I think maybe the reason we like watching people (women specifically) putting on their makeup is bc it's a reminder of being a little kid and watching your mom or grandma or aunt or whichever female guardian you had putting on her makeup to get ready, either for a normal day or a night out. At least for me those were some of the most relaxing times just sitting in my parent's bed with my siblings playing with barbies or something and my mom sitting at a mirror carefully putting on makeup while we waited for the babysitter to come for the night.

It contains a hefty amount of sodium fluoride, it's quite easy to give yourself halogenic acne if not life threatening fluorosis by doing that. The only thing you should be using toothpaste for is your teeth and in small amounts.
