- Race the car that changed RC off-road racing forever!
On December 5th, 1984 the All-American designed Team Associated RC10 was introduced to the RC world. Being the first to take home the gold in both the ROAR National and IFMAR 2WD World Championships, the RC10 secured its place as a legend in RC car history. This year (2024) marks the 40th anniversary of the RC10 and we are proud to offer this special limited 40th Anniversary Edition kit. Staying true to the original, this anniversary kit features the same race car technology introduced in the 80s. It’s that innovation that has kept Team Associated on top of the RC car racing world for the past 40 years.

Thanks Dad and Mom for getting this for me for Christmas. Love and miss you everyday.
Finally! Please never discontinue the RC10!! It runs great on these outdoor loose dirt 1/8 tracks that have become so popular.
Got my RC10 for Christmas in 1984 and 40 years later, I’m still participating in the hobby. AE for life! 😎
That’s when I got mine. I still have it. It was my last car too, I was into bikes.
Damn bro, we got the same present on the same day. Took me like 2 weeks to build it back then as a 10 year old.
@@Marleysdad808 I think I 15 when I got mine. My Dad made me put it together myself with his supervision. I must have enjoyed it as I’m still building all these years later.
The nostalgia is real. Now I can finally afford one.
Me too....just pre-ordered at 55 years of age !
@@fencer39 yes, me too at age 58 😀
I was an incredibly lucky child to have a Grandfather that was very into RC racing. I got my first RC10 when I was 6. Just this evening, my Grandfather and I dug out my car and several others. Now we can rebuild our old and new!
I still have my original gold pan rc10. Still in the hobby and building rc cars for my son . Love it .
I have one too.
Now let's see the RC10T2!!!! Greatest Stadium Truck Ever!!
Yesssssssssssss!
um .... xxt in my opinion
@@johntuffy5721 why don't you let Losi know lol.
@@mariomessinese5287 Losi really should rerelease a lot of the XX and XXX heritage. And the Heavy Metal trucks
@@justinyoung109 yes they should.. and not the mini versions..
Don't ever be discontinuing these re-releases.... I know more is to come this year on some vintage re-releases... 😜. Make the parts availability a real thing... 😊. AE... You know as well as I do and everyone else in this hobby that collects rc10 want this . Please and thank you!
20 years ago i called you guys up on the phone when i had a hobby shop and asked if you guys would re pop the r RC10 kit. your words were "we will never remake the RC10". yet here we are!
They didn’t lie. That company never did re-pop it.
I have my first RC10 from 1985 in the Garage right now. It's the only one of my many many RC cars I kept.
This was my first "real" RC car. So many great memories. Got back into the hobby again a few years back and making new memories with my kids.
I own this car and it runs fully original from when my grandpa finished in 1984
I did the Andy's Monster Truck conversion many years ago and was always 1st or 2nd place in the Modified Monster Truck category. It was always a blast to race and tune. Still have it stored away. May update it and have some fun when I retire soon. God Bless all the RC fans that enjoy this great hobby of ours! Pretty soon these will be the only cars we can afford to buy and repair! Actually, it is true now!
I still have my original RC10.. Thank you Team Associated 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁. My friend Kenny and I built the first track in our area. Then when I got popular, the Hobby shop, adults came in and took it over from us kids.
Florida?
Great video!....Some of us still have the original 1984 cars....Hopefully, Associated will release parts this year, so we can keep them going.
Bought my RC10 kit #6016 in 1989 at twelve years old. That was the kit with the Yokomo stock class 05 motor, servo wiper throttle and ball-bearings. Installed Futaba electronics and eventually upgraded to a Novak ESC. Even Rit dyed the suspension arms because black was the thing in the newer kits. Of course I sold it sometime in my late teens, doh, but now I can buy another one, yippeee!
If they release either the 89 or 91 Worlds cars I'll finally buy a Team Associated kit!
I got the '91 kit.
@@edgarpoe517 the actual double deck car they won with? Or the standard graphite chassis car they sold to the public as a pseudo World 's car ?
@@Shellbackrc Not the actual one, but one I pieced together over time. Fiber double deck. Probably not real accurate--you remember how tough it was to get info back then lol
@@edgarpoe517 that's cool I'll have to do that!
Rc10T. Whens it coming?
Wow..
I remember the day these came out...I still have the tub and rear gear box and suspension.
My first rc was a Tamiya Hornet in 1984 and when it came time to get my first racing buggy, I got the 1987 Kyosho Ultima, even though I lived 15mins from Team Associated’s HQ. After waiting 40yrs, it’s time to settle some unfinished business. I can’t wait to get one of these.
I built one a few years ago when the rerelease made parts available again. Please keep the parts coming. I want to drive my rc10 and rc10t more.
Saved up all my money 1991/1992 for an RC10 with bushings, couldn’t hold out any longer to save for bearings!
Loved it and still fondly remember staying up all night with my buddy putting it together.
I remember when a friend of mine got one and the quality was overwhelmingly better and just different. I finally got one after having a Kyosho Raider. Big difference although the high end Kyoshos were on par as well. Just the box art brings back so many memories.
TAKE MY MONEY!
Yes! Real deal re release! Happy 40th RC10
Ah memories. I loved the RC10. I also remember back then some japanese kid was winning all the races with this thing.
I have a brand new complete kit, still in the box from over 30 years ago, just sitting on the shelf.
I started racing with Kyosho and moved on to Schumacher back then, but now it is time for an RC10, at least 😄
I have one and I I kicked ass with this car still have but I retired it but all it needs is a battery and it's ready to kick butt I have not raced it years so many great runs with it .
This is awesome! Adding another RC10 to my collection!
Yes! Add to cart!
Yes, Yes, Yes. Can't wait for them to arrive into our store
Still got the one I bought when they first came out in Feb 85 sitting out on a shelf in the garage. Plus all those cool motors, motor controllers, ancient NiCads battery packs with chargers and discharge resistors not to mention a small fortune in aftermarket ball-diff's. Wow. That takes me way back.
Yes yes yes! I still run two B1’s. Ones a ripper and one is near mint. Love a gold tub!
Had two Rc10's back in 1988, don't have them anymore, so I'm glad the kit is making a come back.
I hope a regular production version materializes. Anyone growing up in the 80s that was into rc has such great memories of the RC10. It would be great to have one or two to actually run and not want to keep on a shelf. I had later models but never the original. Such an iconic buggy that still looks awesome 40 years later! Thank you!
This will be great for the vintage scene. Nice!
Best R/C car that I Have owned, thanks
I would get one, but I still run my '85. Still have the box. 😆 During COVID I got a new nicad 7v battery because the original wasn't charging very well...after almost 40 years.
I would love them to do some of their Nitro cars in the Anniversary series. RC500 with a 2 speed and 4WD kit would be awesome. I would be in the line with a bucket of cash. Back in the day I had a RC10, RC12 and a RC500 4WD.
Still got my gold pan ( b stealth ) n Graphite ( stealth ) .....thank you AE
Happy 40yrs Strong!
RIP Brian Kinwald
Can't wait for mine :)
Take my money now! 😂😂
OMG we are all old but I feel like a 15 yr old.
I just pre-ordered mine!
Unfortunately I started in professional kits with Losi JrX Pro.
1990 we started D&D Racing In Eveleth,Minnesota.
D&D Racing has made the switch to Associated and its been a pleasure.Thank you
Ordered! This is awesome!
I've been wanting one of these ever since I was a kid. I never had the chance to get one. Not until now. Thank you guys.
0:32 that was the RC10 4wd prototype in that clip.
Cheers!
Felicitaciones Amigos gran trabajo son muchos años y los que vendran Dios primero❤
This brought back some great memories
We need some rtr nitro AE's again
I had the MGT 4.6. It was wicked fast and the shift into high gear was siiick!
omg soo excited, I just placed mine on order!
Nice! Just needs a Reedy stock motor and mechanical speed control and it will be just like my first RC10 in '86. 😁
I remember that servo activated resistor speed control with reverse to be a total PITA to assemble. Awesome anyway
The old kits came with a Yokomo stock 05 motor.
@@deltabravo1811 Right, a Yokomo based Reedy stock motor
please keep this in production!
Just pre ordered mine.😎
The gold car is neat but the black chassis with the wide front arms and stealth transmission is the one to re-re and run. That one was track ready and could keep up with modern cars at the club level IMO of course. I think it was called the CE ( Championship Edition)
Long live the gold tub!!!!
I'm pumped for this and I pre-ordered one. This is what many of us have been waiting for. Hopefully the clear body is not all scuffed up like the RC10CC from the way it was packaged.
Bust out those old molds and start putting out all these great kits again. Been wanting to race my worlds rere again but not at current ebay parts prices if I happen to break something lol.
#weareae!!!!
I'm loving using Video warrior by Wild Fire as the new AE theme song. Wish it was available for streaming
I'm still hoping to restore my vintage RC10 as soon I figure out how to do it without spending a bunch or devaluing it.
I remember begging my parents for an RC-10 when they hit the market in Canada... Was too expensive, and I ended up with a Sears RC buggy that looked similar.
Cool!👍
This car should be always available...with parts support......Like Coke or Budwieser
Now we need the re-re-release of the stealth transmission
Fan RC do a complete stealth gearbox copy.
@@LostnRunning I can't find any that aren't overpriced
Nice comeback I had a original once
Hope to be able to buy the kit here in Germany. According to German distributors, only extremely few RC10 Anniversary kits will be delivered to Germany. Why ? America first ? I bought the RC10 Clear Edition and would like to buy this version too. A "normal", non-limited version + spare parts would also be nice to use the car in the increasingly popular vintage races. Not all enthusiasts just want to put the car on the shelf.
Dude!
Please give us the rc18 platform again 🙏🏻
Please make a lot of spare parts so us guys that have original RC-10's can bring them back to life and keep them running for another 40 years..
I have an A stamp Edinger and a B stamp Cadillac.
Will this have on-going parts support? Because lack of parts are what is keeping a lot of local club racers at my track from even buying these. We want to race them, but sourcing parts without buying an entire second kit is almost impossible.
Man i feel old
It would be awesome if y’all made a vintage electronics package sold separately to put in these?
Great to see an RC10 look like a buggy as it should, if only the new kits had the same design philosophy!
Thanks for making me feel really old.
I'm very happy to see you guys releasing this great buggy once again. I still have one that I bought around 2005 from a model shop in the US and shipped it to the UK! I did originally race one back in the late 80's too. Absolutely one of the best RC buggies ever! 👍
Does it have the 6 gear transmission or the Stealth trans?
PVがいかにもUSA!って感じで好き
You should sell it as parmanent kit !

The music isn’t loud enough I can almost hear what they’re saying
I got my first one in 88 when I was 10. I couldn’t drive it for crap, and kept crunching tie rods over and over again
I had one. Cut up the pan. Made shock towers and made a carpet racers our of it.
I just tried to pre-order one of these. Can't be shipped to Australia. thx guys....
Will the boxes be numbered like the chassis??
Y'all missed a movie reference. Child's Play. The little boy had a roller chassis in his closet. When I saw it at the drive-in I yelled "HOLY SHEET!" and promptly got griped at by my mom! ROFLMAO
Isn't it the re-release was limited edition? If yes, why release again? need answer
Is this a limited run or will they be available for a while?
Is it coming back i have the previous re-release from 10 years back
My hobby shop pre-ordered 15 of these on day one… never got any
Mine came opened for me thanks UPS probably damaged also , so pissed at what looks like deliberate damage...
Just 21 allowance payments (me as a boy day dreaming through a Tower catalog).
Need the rc10 graphite rere
WHen and where will it be release?
Will be available in Europe ?
