Exactly what they intended with this song - raise the mood during this quarantine. They released a whole album last year (called BE), which deals with all the emotions going on in the world right now with this current situation, not just positive ones. The camaraderie, as you called it, is just the same or even more behind the scenes. With BTS, what you see is what you get. And yes, they are all very multitalented in various fields, but theoretically the group consists of 4 vocalists and 3 rappers. They've covered a broad variety of genres in their 8 years as a band and are all very involved with creating (writing, composing and producing) their music. Their latest drop was a collab with Coldplay called "My Universe". (Honestly I could write half a book about them here, but for one I don't wanna overwhelm you or be a nuisance and on the other hand, there are tons of documentaries on TH-cam if you'd like to get to know them. I recommend the ones by xCeleste)
Stopping during reaction videos makes the reactions worth watching, the longer you leave it without stopping sometimes means you miss things, plus we love these comments and breakdowns
I originally subscribed for your Dimash reactions but really hope you take the time to explore BTS - they are an extremely interesting and multi-faceted group of artists, with probably the most diverse catalogue I've encountered in my 64 years. I could write an essay on why I think they're genuinely important... but instead I'll very strongly recommend that you watch their Black Swan music video next, and bear in mind this quote from Martha Graham "A dancer dies twice... once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful". Edit: they range in age from 24 to 29 - the guy you first paused on is the youngest (as well as milk, he is partial to a glass of wine or two).
Bts discography varies from pop to rap songs to R&B to edm to even more rock vibes. Their style cant really be determined by only few songs. To see a different styles maybe check Black swan mv, Fake love mv or Singularity that is a solo song from Taehyung. Outro tear is a full on rapline song and The truth untold is a full on vocal line song. Hope you check more from them cause there is so much more to them. Their fanbase also is largely over 25 years old, even up to 60 and 70 years old.
I think you should react to BTS - Black Swan MV. That song is totally different from this one and it's just amazing. I have watched quite a few of your reaction videos and I think that song is right up your alley. I have never before seen a group so versatile as BTS stretching over many genres. I love them.
I'm a mom, 52, Texan - and I've been ARMY (BTS fandom) for 2 years. For me, what sets BTS apart from every other artist out there is their versatility. There are no egos in this group, so they make songs that are solo pieces, or units of 2, 3, or 4 members together. Songs by just the rappers, songs by just the vocalists. Plus the massive music genre range they tackle... Practically no genre left untouched because they just love music so much there's no reason to put themselves in one box... They've been together since 2010, living & working together, so they are truly very close - a self-described family. They're rich, no need to still share what they call a 'dorm' but they choose to do so because they love each other. The only thing that's changed is the size of their dorm and that they don't have to share rooms anymore LOL.... They're hopeful mid-pandemic song (2020, from their album BE) "Life Goes On" was filmed in their dorm, in some of their rooms. It was directed by the youngest member, Jungkook, who opens up the song, singing while looking out his room's windows. It's a beautiful, slower, introspective song and I hope you check it out. It's mainly in Korean, though, so captions are a must for the lyrics.
I am glad you took a chance on BTS. You might want to try their tiny desk concert. Their MVs are always top-notch. I might suggest Black Swan as one you would enjoy. Definitely need subtitles as it is mostly Korean though they add in some English throughout. BTS is made up of 3 rappers (the silver-haired one you noticed ) is RM or Namjoon and the leader of the group. Also the most fluent in English. 4 singers or vocalist. Though the rappers have been taking lessons and are starting to sing more. 2 I would call Dancers by nature. 2 that come to dancing more naturally and the other 3 work really hard to be wonderful at it as well. They all work hard of course. Just some things come easier to different members. They all live together and have for 10 years. So they are more like brothers than a group of individuals. Which as you saw comes across 😊 I started watching your channel from Dimash. I will also enjoy seeing how you like BTS
"Dynamite" was their biggest hit last year. Their biggest hit this year is "Butter". Both are English songs targeted for the American market. The real BTS deals which drew hundred millions of global fans to them are their Korean songs, which they write/produce themselves. They also have original Japanese songs for the Japan market which are primarily vocally powerful. Its really hard recommending BTS songs to people because they have so many good songs and their discography is the most varied. Maybe do "Black Swan" next.
Dynamite was their first all English song, and was released specifically to cheer and energize the world during Covid restrictions. Your automatic dancing and huge smile while they were obviously having fun gives you a hint on how successful they were with that goal. They released it as a single and as the last song on pandemic influenced album BE. ARMY is recommending lots of great songs and next steps for learning more about this group that I agree with. I'd just like to add that their album Map of the Soul; 7 was released just prior to Covid lockdowns and therefore a LOT of their planned promotions were cancelled or overshadowed. They had made a ton of artistic collaborations that branched out into other modalities like sculpture, visual arts, and dance, incorporating artists and influences from all over the world. IMHO it was a Masterpiece. The lockdowns robbed the world of learning and appreciating the message and inclusivity this album's promotional plans would have brought. I hope you will dig a little bit into this album, what went into it, and the ways BTS was attempting to unify us all(globally) through ART and music. Several of the songs being suggested are from that album (Black Swan, ON in particular) and it is worth noting that multiple MVs were released for the same songs. I highly encourage you to watch BOTH to get a feel for the artistry of this group. Looking forward to your journey as you learn more about BTS
As long as you include the BigHit/Hybe credit opening to their music videos, you shouldn't run into any issues - they see reactors as a positive part of the process.
And finally here you are!!! After Dimash and Pentatonix, I can see you reacting to these talented, humble and incredibly hardworking boys. I'm 58 and I love, love all of them... They're, Dimash PTX and BTS, so different, so distant from what we are used to hear nowadays. Cheers Lukas
What I think is super interesting is how much overlap there is in these fanbases. So many ARMY love Dimash and Pentatonix. All sharing that elusive, rare, "it" quality, that is so authentic and inspiring
@@WonderingWildWanderingRose yes, just what I meant!! Not only the music, by itself a gift for the ears, but what's behind it, people who cares and shares its talent and love with us. Am I naive? May be but a really happy naive...
BTS was originally a Korean hip hop group. Since 2013 they have evolved into a unique genre of their own. These are all the BTS “official” music videos in reverse order of release. The "Ioniq: I'm On It" is a promotional song for Hyundai. But you barely notice the car because the mv & song are so good; similar style as "Film Out" "Come Back Home" was released on July 4, 2017 as remake of Seo Taiji’s song "Come Back Home" for Seo Taiji 25th Anniversary Remake Project. “With Seoul” is a BTS song and film highlighting Seoul as a vacation spot. The original also shows them recording it. They have also done 3 other versions, including a “short” on 2020-09-11; a beautiful drone visual of Seoul (The Four Seasons of Seoul” on 2019-12-30, & an amazing drone visual mv on 2021-01-09. My personal favorite "other version" video is "DANGER (Mo-Blue-Mix) , featuring THANH". Thanh is an Australian-Vietnamese singer. This song has a R&B vibe with some great lyrics added by Thanh. There are loads of their other songs including some of my favorites: “Dionysus”, “Ma City”, “Truth Untold”, ”Outro: Tear”, “House of Cards”, “Lost”, “Dimple”, “Butterfly”, etc. and their solo, rapline, vocal line, short films, comeback trailers, etc. not included.
Since you can choose the genre and we can give you pieces to watch in that genre, just say what you want. Their most popular piece this year is another all English song, in the Dynamite mode: Butter. However, their all English stuff is lighter than their usual fair. They are doing all English songs to get in the running for Grammies. For a song about the pandemic, you need cc on: Life Goes On. Their MVs should not be blocked if you play the logo at the start and pause a couple of times.
You are in for a ride bestie hehe This is just the surface of BTS. Their discography is extreeeeemely diverse and I'm sure ARMYs are going to lead you down the BTS rabbit hole 😁 Have fun!!!!!
Hey loved your reaction! Thank you for checking out BTS. I really hope you continue to check them out. They have made a huge impact on the world with their music and as their selves with Army (their fans) right beside them every step of the way. They have quite the coming up story. They are a true inspiration to people all over the world including myself (37 yrs old). You listened to 1 of 3 of their English songs, which is definitely more "poppier" than the rest of their music. Their music ranges from rap to ballads to EDM to some classical to some rock sounds.. they just mix it up. You can definitely tell they love music and are not afraid to play with sounds. They write, produce, and compose most of all their own music as well. Anyway really hope you continue to check them out. Really enjoyed your video/vibe.. 💜
Welcome to the rabbit hole 💜💜these guys are very close, like brothers. And they are a wonderful combination of amazing choreo and just fun chaos. I would recommend black Swan, fake love, ON, to name a few. They cover just about every genre💜
This was a special Covid pandemic song...a bop to make everyone smile. They are all very talented but this is not their usual type of work. The 7 actually get along very well and they are what you see; their strength as a group is probably a key to their incredible success. Although called Kpop, they really do not have a genre...they cover many styles. Listen to a few of their songs and you will likely find something you really like and be amazed at their diversity. There are 4 in the vocal line and 3 rappers (who also sing) and they all dance and sing in most songs. They are very different than any group in the US on many levels. They have a growing number of fans in the 30+ age groups. Most of their songs are in Korean but always have some English. Their popularity is world wide as they are know to have a very strong fan base.
Hi Lucas. I'm glad you've started reacting to BTS. I hope you'll continue to explore their work. My recommendations would be their "Black Swan" MV, their Tiny Desk Concert (a set of 3 songs), or their MTV Unplugged videos (5 songs, my faves are "Blue and Grey" and "Life Goes On" and their cover of Coldplay's "Fix You"). I've been following you for your Pentatonix reactions and I've noticed some similarities between the groups. Both built their fanbases through TH-cam/internet since the beginning of their careers and therefore are very close to them. Pentatonix (as you might already know) was dropped from their label a week after they won the Sing-off, while BTS comes from a small label in Korea and therefore had a hard time getting out their music through traditional channels, which were dominated by the three big labels there. Both have diverse fandoms, and fans who have met them have commented how they are all humble and down-to-earth despite their success. Another similarity is that the members of both groups are very close that they're like family. Therefore, there's no ego involved and they're very comfortable in letting other members shine in their songs. They're a fan of each other. Much like PTX members admire, say, Mitch for his voice or Kevin for his musicality, BTS members admire, for example, RM for his amazing lyrics and his leadership, or Suga for his producing skills, or J-Hope for his dancing. I've seen reactors shed tears watching their videos. PTX reactors usually do this due to the sheer beauty of their arrangements and harmonies, while BTS reactors usually over their sincere and heart-felt lyrics. They have a knack for capturing emotions, such as depression and realization of self-love, into beautiful lyrics.
I discovered BTS after watching there Butter video and here I am 38 hooked on these men!! There is so much to them! I hope you will react to more of there music!
BTS is an amazing group and not your typical boy band. I hope you react to more of their stuff. This might be more of their bubble gum type song like you said, but like other comments state this was done to bring happiness to people during quarantine. They really do have amazing songs and some of their MV's are like short films, them and the team behind them are amazing. These guys are goofy down to earth guys that love their army (fans)
BTS has such a varied discography, it's why their fans range from 0 to 100! Definitely worth going down the rabbit hole, I guarantee you will be surprised 🙂 Black Swan, magic shop live (they are amazing live!!) Are a couple of my favourites.. they all also have solo songs within the album's and the rapper's have solo mix tapes- they are also worth a listen.
The age range of the group when the video came out is 24 - 29 years old. They had an absolute blast making the video haha. A lot of freestyle and spontaneously agreed on moves. Glad you liked the song!
Dynamite was their 1st All English song and was meant as an upbeat song for us in earlier Covid-19 times.... they have also done 2 more All English original songs, "BUTTER" & "PERMISSION TO DANCE ".... all hit #1 on Billboard. Most other songs are mix of Korean and English, and a few are Japanese & English mix... So always put English cc or subtitles on if available.... They are going to be on the American Music Awards this weekend doing their "Butter" remix with Megan the Stallion, and their newest hit "MY UNIVERSE" they recorded with Coldplay (GREAT MV for it).... They will also be performing live on James Corden show next week...
Thank you for reacting to BTS. This is their first all English song. They have 2 others with "Butter" and "Permission To Dance". All 3 have hit number 1on the Billboard charts. There are 3 rappers (RM, Suga and J-Hope) and 4 vocalists (Jin, Jimin, Jungkook and V). At the beginning of the video, the guy that shot at us is Jimin. He is a lead vocalist and lead dancer. The guy singing at the beginning is Jungkook. He is the youngest BTS member, he is the main vocalist and a lead dancer. He is also a sub rapper. He does a lot of the backgrounds and adlibs. He can fill in for any BTS member when needed. Next in the vinyl store is RM. He is the main rapper and the leader of BTS. He also produces and writes a lot of their songs. The guy in the store (with the black glasses is J-Hope. He is one of the rappers and is a sub-vocalist. He is also the main dancer and helps with the choreography of their songs. The guy by the ice cream truck is V. He is part of the dance line and sings the parts that require a deeper voice. The guy on the basketball court (in the looney tunes outfit) is Suga. He is a lead rapper and also produces and writes a lot of their songs. The guy in the orangish colored shirt and brown pants is Jin. He is the eldest member of BTS. All of the BTS members help to write their songs. The Kpop culture is all about the colors, make up, jewelry, fashionable clothes, singing and dancing. It's all a great big package deal. For more info on the group I would suggest the following videos... th-cam.com/video/48Tc_Y2U0Tg/w-d-xo.html and this one th-cam.com/video/3cESARetI9U/w-d-xo.html
Yes! I'm so glad you reacted to them. I originally found you because of Pentatonix and now you're doing BTS! I'm so happy! BTS music videos don't tend to be blocked as long as you have their label intro in (the bubbles at the beginning). However, it seems like you didn't actually watch the video on their official channel. I would recommend that too. The music videos on the official channel have subtitles as well, so you don't have to worry about not understanding. Anyway, Dynamite, while an amazing song, is not necessarily their usual style. They have been doing some English, straight up pop tunes lately, but BTS is primarily hip-hop based, so don't be surprised if you later come across songs that aren't as typical for what you might imagine. However, since you liked Dynamite, I'm going to go ahead and recommend Permission to Dance, which is similar style, all English. But rather than reacting to the official video, maybe you could react their performance of Permission to Dance at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. BTS have spoken at the UN on several occasions and this year they again delivered a speech concerning the young generation and global warming. The performance of Permission to Dance afterwards was just a special gift to all of us :). They can all sing, but three of them are actually primarily rappers, which you'll see if you keep reacting to them. These three don't actually sing very often, since the overwhelming majority of BTS' songs have rap verses. But in general, they have songs of many different genres. If you want to delve more into the music that really makes BTS who they are today, I would recommend ON, Black Swan, Spring Day or Fake Love. And I also recommend you pay attention to the lyrics. It wasn't as important in Dynamite as it's in English and the lyrics aren't that deep, but usually, BTS lyrics have important messages and a lot of them are straight up poetry. Their lyricism is one of the big reasons why they have such a huge following. Also, we kind of see a lot, A LOT of what's happening behind the scenes of these videos and BTS really do love each other. They're basically brothers. And of course, we only know them through cameras, we don't know everything about them, but they have started in 2013 and went through a lot together and also shared a large portion of their lives with us (doing a lot of non-music content on top of everything). They have also shared the not so fun parts, so it's not all just rainbows and daisies either. But never did I doubt even for a second that they love each other. Anyway, thank you for this reaction. I loved it! Hope to see more BTS soon on this channel 🤩
Wow! Love that you’re "BTS impressed"! I guess that was aimed by them by singing in english... It took that to have them covered by PTX, and yes, that’s how I tumbled upon them (3 months ago?)... I’ve been hooked since then, without knowing beforehand what Kpop is about. These guys are simply wholy endearing. Apart from their very eclectic self written songs and performances, you may try to know about them through some of the documentaries produced by their worldwide fanbase, the very dedicated ARMY -from babies to +70 (and their President and the United Nation and....me now (+50) 😀). Please welcome to their world, you can’t be disappointed, each song, specially when you take time to break down lyrics, can knock you down. And also, although live performances are pieces of art, I believe beeing a film producer/director, you’ll appreciate fully their MV.
There are 4 vocals 3 rappers , they can all sing when they want. Bts has been around since 2013. They are like brothers. Dynamite was there first all English song released in Aug 2020 to help cheer up the world during Covid. They released 2 more English songs Butter and Permission toDance in May and July 2021 and a song with Coldplay in September called My Universe. They have around 200 songs mostly in Korean and Japanese.
This song is not indicative of their catalog. Their 3 English songs are meant to uplift us during COVID. The rest of their tracts are highly diverse. You never know what sound you’re going to get. 3 rappers 4 vocalists. They write much of their own stuff. Their lyrics is one of the main things that sets them apart from everyone else. That’s also why their fan base is diverse as well. I’m a 50 year old American army. Welcome to BTS.
Can't wait to watch your next reactions to their other songs..love your reactions very much..they are versatile artist n do all genres..also they're like families and have a very strong brotherhood bond..all are talented and funny as well.. U gonna love them when u start the journey to knowing all their personalities 😁😉👍
As you probably already know, BTS has 7 members.... they are a very close "family" and totally genuine. The group has 3 rappers (RM, J-hope, & SUGA {aka Agust D} and 4 vocalists (Jungkook, Jin, V, & Jimin). The best way to get absorb each member's style is to dive into their solos, as well as the Rapline & Vocal line performances. Here are some suggestions. While some have MV'S, some are even better live (be sure to find ones that have subtitles cc's) RM : Change ft. WALE mv ; Joke ; Seoul J-HOPE : Airplane mv ; Outro:Ego mv ; Chicken Noodle Soup mv Suga : Agust D self-titled mv ; Daechwita mv ; Interlude:Shadow mv RAPLINE : Outro:Tear live at Wembley ; Ddaeng live w/ eng sub ; DDaeng live w/ end sub Jungkook : Euphoria live ; My Time live D2 on BTS LIVE 2; Begin live Jin : Epiphany live ; AWAKE live ; Moon live V : Singularity mv ; Stigma live ; Inner Child live Jimin : Serendipity live stage mix ; LIE live stage mix ; FILTER live Vocal Line: The Truth Unknown live ; House of Cards live ; Lost Live stage mix ; Dimple live stage mix Just for fun check out their "Ma City" live when they all just broke loose and also have the band GHOST backing them up onstage. One of my personal favorite live performances.
I am currently obsessed with their latest collaboration with Coldplay - my universe ... is something exceptional!I would very much like to see more reactions to other songs of theirs and I promise you you will not regret ! the last songs released during the pandemic that brightened our days are: dynamite, Butter and Permission to dance. but you will not be disappointed by those in Korean either ,they are beautiful human beings just like the message of their music and the music videos are sensational!😳
If you go down the BTS rabbit hole be prepared for an amazing ride! There is SO much BTS content on top of their music videos it can be overwhelming! I would recommend you watch a couple of introductory videos as it will honestly make you appreciate them more! The most beautiful life goes on: The story of BTS, Who is BTS and This is BTS (choose the 2021 updated versions). Don't worry, ARMY will help you along the way!🤟💜
Basic videos to help you get to know them better as both a group and as individuals... "This is BTS...." is best one to learn about how they came together and the dynamics and guiding principles behind BigHit and BTS. Other 2 are centered on getting to know the members as individuals.... 1 - The video by Noshi called "A 2021 BTS GUIDE: learn to tell the members apart" is one of my favorites to learn the members individually both individually background and singing style & discography..... There are other really good ones out there also, such as 2 - "This is BTS: introduction to BTS" by xCeleste. 3 - "An introduction to the 7 members of BTS (2021 update) " by Ida S
Oh, great, Lukas, BTS rabbit hole and you´re at the edge....LOL :D They are fun, they love each other on screen and off screen, they are like a family, lived together for 10 years. They have ALL type of songs! Please, keep digging. x

Its funny to me how all of my favorite music reactors end up with the same bunch of artists at the end. I have watched your Dimash reactions prior this one and I am happy to see you decided to have a listen to BTS as well. They are top of the top. The same as Dimash :-) It was a marvelous and refreshingly different reaction to BTS - thank you for taking your time and giving them a chance :-) I was really enjoying your mature and calm, sensible approach. You reacted to their most poppy song and it was not even their song ( it was fully written and handed over to them by someone else). It was not unfair either to say it was a little bubble gumm-ish , a totally fair assessment. BTS has so much more to offer - their discography is vast, vast, vast and they have evolved over years ( they debuted in 2015) like no other Kpop artist out there. They have stellar singers but also super rappers and they all dance, yes. I hope you will continue on this journey and if you are interested to learn more about them individually I would warmly recommend to check out an updated guide made by Ida S ( a YT channel ) and steer away from old, outdated intros to BTS that are full of misleading stereotypes about them. I hope I will see more from you soon :-)
I liked your comment on their comradery as this is one of the reasons many of us are a fan. I know that behind the scenes you never truly know but BTS show us behind the scenes more than any artist I've known with a very sincere way of speaking. It's possible but imo, very difficult to lie about their brotherly relationship. I'm lookrng forward to more of your bts content and smilie face :)
Yes, S Korean Pop groups are very different from USA. There's a group called Seventeen with 13 members and all 13 can sing and dance. It's industry standard. S Korea is very similar to USA in terms of modern conveniences. I've heard their internet service is far superior to ours. And apparently their fried chicken is the best in the world. lol BTS members have solo work within BTS and on separate labels. So far only the rap line (RM, Suga/Agust D, and J-Hope) have MV's and albums outside BTS though the vocal line have released OST, covers, and Soundcloud. (maybe more, but someone will correct me if I'm wrong). All of them are involved to some degree with lyrics, music, production., and choreo.
Loved your reaction. I hope you check out their other videos including some live performances. Only 3 songs out of 230 are all English so turn on cc for most of the songs that have been recommended here. Enjoy.
New sub here! I am a BTS fan and I enjoyed your reaction😊 Dynamite was created to lift the spirits of people during the pandemic. They have other English songs which are a hit too such as Butter and Permission to Dance. I recommend reacting to their NPR tiny desk concert wherein they sing live and their vocals are amazing😊🥰 hope you react to more BTS songs especially their live perfomances!💜
hello, i love your reaction..every song has a deep meaning in their songs.. songs like Butter or Permission To Dance or Dynamite those are happy songs that are suppose to make us ARMY(BTS fanbase) or other people feel good especially during the pandemic. each of their songs have meaning to them...they help out with depression and anxiety and etc in their songs.Take your time and go back so many times to understand what they are trying to say...us ARMY(bts fan base) love it that people actually sit and learn about what the songs mean..like i said each song has a different meaning to it.The songs that you need to follow up on Mic Drop, On Kinetic Manifesto, Fake Love, Blood Sweat and Tears. Also, make sure you have captions on because they do sing korean in their songs but like i said each song has each meaning. I am 37 years old and along time ago i was wondering why my daughter was obessed with them and now i understand why she loves them...my daughter and I are army(bts fanbase) Also if you want to learn about them and i hope you learn about them and react to them on your channel. ARMY(their fanbase) has put up some documentaries to have people understand more about bts. Great that you enjoyed the video! BTS are the most versatile, talented, hardest-working artists you can imagine. They are between 24 and 28 and have a vast discography of about 300 group and solo songs, so they aren't new or particularly young. Their live performances is where their heart is, their stage presence is unmatched. I suggest a medley performance they did a few months ago if you're interested in their versatility: BTS Room Live (there are English subtitles in the closed captions). Have fun!
Please check out also their documentary videos 1. Xceleste introduction to bts 2. The Asian Theory: The most beautiful life goes on: A Story Of BTS,this is about their journey from beginning to present. Please check out also Introduction to the 7 members of BTS 2021 update by Ida S. Live performances like npr tiny desk concert, 2021 festa room live, mma 2019 and many more. Thanks for checking out the boys.
This was their first all-English song done during the Pandemic to try and brighten everyone's days, followed by Butter and Permission to Dance. All are up-beat. However, BTS also has some songs with pretty deep lyrics and beautiful artistic videos. Try Black Swan, Fake Love, or Blood, Sweat and Tears perhaps for that style. As for Who is BTS, I suggest a video by Asian Theory that presents a history of BTS and the struggles they've gone through to get where they are at. I've kind of fallen off the Pentatonix bandwagon, and have fallen hard for the BTS group just in the last few months. Deep respect for these 7 young men and all they've been through, and they are all so talented. Synopsis: 4 vocal members, 3 rappers (who were singing in this song, and the vocalists can also rap and do on occasion), 3-4 in the "main" dance line, but all of them dance. The main dancer was mostly a street dancer, another main or lead dancer was trained in contemporary dance, and there is a third that has learned both. They are J-Hope, Jimin and Jungkook, respectively. Also, there are some acting skills in the group too. I'd love to see more BTS reactions on your channel. :)
I liked your reaction. If you're interested in seeing them sing live, I recommend checking out "BTS: Tiny Desk (Home) Concert". They perform Dynamite and also some of their amazing songs in Korean. Here's the link to make it easier: th-cam.com/video/gFYAXsa7pe8/w-d-xo.html And, answering your question, they are really close, I would say they are more than friends, they consider themselves brothers. All of them have been together for 10 years, including their training time before debuting. And their partnership is what makes it all the more special for the army. We love them as artists, but most of all the wonderful people they are. ***Sorry if there was a spelling error. I'm Brazilian and my English is not very good.
Thank you so much! They lifted me up a while back. They’re amazing as a group and each one individually. Yessss continue to react to them. Their messages are sublime! 🥰
At last 🤗🤗 you took a chance on the very talented BTS. I think I suggested you watching them a long time ago, when you heard Angelina Jordan for the first time. Better late than never. You won't be disappointed, I promise. I suggest you watch their cover to Coldplay's Fix you or their Tiny Desk Concert. There's so much material to watch. Over 300 songs, in 8 years. That include a wide range of genres. Their voices harmonize so well together as you'll find out. They compose and write a lot of their music. And they are also great lyricists. They are very professional, love their craft, great performers, and most importantly, they're like brothers, a real family. Young men that care for each other, all egos aside. And they also LOVE their fandom: Army. So naturally, we love them back 💜 And as we like to say:. Welcome to the rabbit hole 🤗🤗
Hello Lukas Thank you for making me discover BTS Me too I am still ... more "old" LOL but I am curious about everything and I like to explore all kinds of music It was very fun very catchy very talented and so I discovered this world of Kpop thanks to you Thank you and I appreciated your reaction because you were literally amazed and it was very pleasant to watch you ! Paix et bénédictions de France
I am so here for all your BTS reactions. Is there a particular genre of music you like? BTS makes all kinds. Their Rap is INSANELY good too! Definitely check out On Kinetic Manifesto, Fire, Dope, Airplane pt.2, Ugh, Love Yourself live performance, Go Go live performance, there's so many! Thank you for your reaction...🙏😁🥰
Hallo Lukas ! Welcome back to TH-cam.With few exceptions, I don't listen to new songs or artist anymore ,because Ilike to listen to with you, because every time I learn something new by listening to you and that's what I like. Not to lie I listened to only one song with them because in a previous reaction you mentioned BTS and I wanted to see what that means. Well what can I say about this group, youth, beauty, good mood, good dancers, excellent rhythm and timing, spontaneity, talent and a lot of work, because in vain you have talent, if you do not work for it. You get to the top quickly ,but the real art is to know how to stay there.Probably BTS , has succeeded to some extent since I see that they so recommended. To be honest, I'm not used to this kind of music either, but I don't reject it when I have the opportunity to listen to it. Life goes on, art in any form goes on and as long as art is made within the limits of good taste and common sense, and those who practice it are talented and serious,I have no problem, but on the contrary I enjoy it. Indeed, the song has slight influences on the rhythm, gestures, and dance moves of Michael Jakson, and is probably an idol of theirs, but after all who does not like M.J. which practically inspired many other artists and especially the young ones.I don't see anything wrong with that , because Michael is and remain a pop legend. I liked this song, because it gives you a feeling of well-being and really like how it dances. They are all beautiful guys and look very young, although I understand that they have a career of 7-8 years behind them, which means that they started at very young age,and certainly they are all very good friends off stage, because otherwise they wouldn't have lasted so many years together.I don't know how composes them os who works with them , but they do a good job. Another thing that I liked and made me smile was that boy who that at the beginning of the play ,drank milk from a glass. I instantly remembered the famous and beautiful ''Mr. Milk'', who drinks milk with such elegance and pleasure ,those ads.of yours that are wonderful and I am convinced that even those who did not like milk in particular, after who looked at those commercials, where you're gorgeous, started drinking or tasting ,at least a glass of milk. It was a beautiful sequence....So in conclusion ,I likes this boys ,but I have to listen to other songs in order to have a correct opinion about them....Thank you Lukas for this song, you are wonderful as usual and I am very pleased to see and listen to you. You should know that I miss Pentatonix too, mabye next time .....P.S. Lukas please, in not way or context ,you are NOT old ,so please !!!....
Hello Lukas, I have followed you from the first reaction you made of Dimash whom I deeply admire, I never thought you would react to my favorite band of all time, I love the music of Michael Jackson, Sade, my favorite group for a long time was Depeche Mode , I adore music in general but since I met BTS in 2015 I am obsessed with them, I liked many singers and bands but it never happened to me that I would like ALL their songs and that is exactly what happens to me with BTS I like all their songs , their lyrics are very good, their amazing choreographies and to top it off they are great, talented, hardworking, so humble, right now they have the world in their hand and they are always friendly and thinking about their Army, they have so many styles that you can't. classify as K-Pop, please react to "Let me Know" "On Kinetic Manifesto" "Blood, swet and tears", "Tears", "Singularity", "Fake Love", "Black Swan", "Idol", Oh!!! There are so many that I could go on and on, I'll be waiting for your reactions, greetings from the end of the world, a hug Hello Lukas, I have followed you from the first reaction you made of Dimash whom I deeply admire, I never thought you would react to my favorite band of all time, I love the music of Michael Jackson, Sade, my favorite group for a long time was Depeche Mode , I adore music in general but since I met BTS in 2015 I am obsessed with them, I liked many singers and bands but it never happened to me that I would like ALL their songs and that is exactly what happens to me with BTS I like all their songs , their lyrics are very good, their amazing choreographies and to top it off they are great, talented, hardworking, so humble, right now they have the world in their hand and they are always friendly and thinking about their Army, they have so many styles that you can't. classify as K-Pop, please react to "Let me Know" "On Kinetic Manifesto" "Blood, swet and tears", "Tears", "Singularity", "Fake Love", "Black Swan", "Idol", Oh!!! There are so many that I could go on and on, I'll be waiting for your reactions, greetings from the end of the world, a hugh, I love BTS so much 💖💖💖🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜 RM, JIN, SUGA, J-HOPE, JIMIN, V, JUNGKOOK, mis niños
Great to see you back 👍❤ love BTS they always seem to be enjoying themselves. Can't wait for the next reaction...love pentatonix also Angelina has a new adele cover out now xx
Thanks for reaction 💜 Please watch their MV from their original channels (HYBE channel with MVs and BangtanTV with a lot other content) Maybe Black Swan or Fake love for the next time? (Don’t forget for CC on)
Their Korean songs are a lot meatier. When you search for the video, add "Eng sub" to make sure you get English CC. I recommend Fake Love, Black Swan, and Mic Drop
YES!!!!!! I was just going to write a comment about how it would be great if you would react to the new Pentatonix Christmas album their song and video for I just called to say I love you is amazing! Then you said at the end that you would do some Pentatonix so that is super super awesome! I can't wait!!
Always love your reactions, Lucas! I recently fell in the rabbit hole that is k-pop myself, and I'm surprised, as I'm "old" as you said. Pentatonix did a collab with three members from Ateez and BOOOOOM I was sold! Maybe you could check out that song, the collab is a new version of "A little space". Ateez is a little "darker" in their expression than BTS, and they have 8 very talented members. I'm not into BTS so I can't really claim that Ateez is better, but they are. ;-) Songs that are good to start off with might be "Inception" or their new song "DejaVu".
Thanks for this reaction. I really enjoyed it. :) BTS is a South Korean boy band consisting of three rappers and four vocalists. And all seven of them are excellent dancers. They do a wide variety of music, but basically they are rooted in hip-hop. All seven members are participating in making their songs by writing, composing, and producing them. You can watch their dance practice too. :) th-cam.com/video/CN4fffh7gmk/w-d-xo.html If you're interested in BTS' other songs, I recommend.... Mic Drop Blood sweat & tears FIRE On kinetic manifesto film Black Swan Save me→I'm fine Daechwita(Agust D 대취타, Suga's solo) These are pretty different from Butter or permission to dance or Dynamite.(Only these three songs are fully English.) And, all of their music videos provide English subtitles. :) Their lyrics are very deep and beautiful. Or, I think it would be good to follow a story line. DNA: Joy of fateful love → Fake Love: Realizing that love was a lie → IDOL, Epiphany, Answer Love Myself: To love other people completely, you should love yourself first. They make a wide variety of genres of music like Hip-hop, Ballad, R&B, pop, EDM, etc. I'm sure there're quite a few of their 300 songs that suit your taste. :)
Maybe you can try this. [2021 FESTA] BTS (방탄소년단) BTS ROOM LIVE th-cam.com/video/RRhjdYsNwAk/w-d-xo.html It's a medley performance where you can taste the diversity of their music in 10 minutes. They are Korean songs, but English subtitles are provided, so you don't need to worry. :) They don't dance in this performance, but you can see them having so much fun. :)
You should react to “The Seven Members of bangtan” it’s a fan-made video describing the group and each members personalities/skill sets! It’s a really good video for newer listeners. Great reaction!
love your great reaction~ ☺💜I also recommend "So hyang" the best live diva in Korea. If Dimarsh is the king, Sohyang is the queen. The best vocalist you should never miss ~2015 (Immortal songs 2) "Bridge of Trouble Water" or "I Have nothing" She is at the highest level (STAR) level on the world vocal eevaluation site. The channel has lost its taste ~ 😚Please check, good luck to see your reaction,
Awesome that you enjoyed Dynamite! It was my first BTS song that I heard and became ARMY! I noticed that you watched the music video not from the official BTS channel. I kindly please to refer to their official TH-cam channels, they are: HYBE (their company, where all the music videos are) and BANGTANTV (behind the scenes, covers of the songs, original solo songs, etc.) They always have English subtitles, you just have to turn them on on the video :)
i just have a quick opinion about youtube and reaction video blocking. some artists may be blocking but a lot of the time is youtube doing it there's a 72 to 75 hour waiting period then it will download here's what i've heard. so some reactors will say put their video was re downloaded because it was blocked the first time those are the ones i respect because they didn't distort the video in any way to immediately upload it they waited the period and then uploaded it completely intact. i can't stand when a reaction channel said it was blocked so i had to chop the hell out of the video i had to reverse the image so you have to stand with your back to the screen and look in the mirror to see it properly i stuck a bunch of crap blocking the video i distorted the sound so they sound like mickey mouse or porky pig or the chipmunks i speeded it up the video up but not the audio. i tend to think that a lot of those idiots don't know a damn thing about the fair use clause of the copyright law the fact that it will download 72 hours after it's blocked and if it doesn't you can dispute it with youtube under the fair use clause of the copyright law.
This entire mv is very much colorful and bubblegum, reason being it was released in the middle.of corona to cheer people up. And this entire video is a set and some green screen shot indoors in South korea! 😅
Great reaction! Welcome to the BTS journey, it's a real ride. They are so talented but remain humble individuals despite their success. From a small company they were told they'd never make it, so if you like stories about the underdog making it to the top then you've found the right group. These young men have worked very hard and truly deserve to be likened to the Beatles by the English press for they deserve it. Request Black Swan next, link supplied: th-cam.com/video/0lapF4DQPKQ/w-d-xo.html Thanks. Looking forward to more BTS! 😀
Normally, when the first reaction from BTS is Dynamite, I don't enjoy it. I automatically stopped the video and move on the the next search but I actually enjoyed this reaction. If you'd want to get to know them, you can react to a video from Ida S called *An Introduction to the 7 members of BTS (2021 update)* If you wanna watch another MV of them, it be best to start reacting to their song called *Dope* If want a deeper song, for a start, you can check their songs *Blood Sweat & Tears* , *Fake Love* and *Black Swan*
Blood sweat and tears, black swan, On kinetic manifesto, fake love, mic drop are great songs to show their diversity.
Yes! Please react to all of these! Especially Black Swan!!! Also please have the subtitles on for their songs! Thanks Lucas!
Stopping during reaction videos makes the reactions worth watching, the longer you leave it without stopping sometimes means you miss things, plus we love these comments and breakdowns
3 rappers 4 singers...and they all dance.
This was their 1st all English song....which is a throwback to the disco era.
That’s a great suggestion for him!
Thanks for checking out BTS…i am 67 yr. old Army. Army is what their fandom is called and there are 90M of us.👍
As long as you include the BigHit/Hybe credit opening to their music videos, you shouldn't run into any issues - they see reactors as a positive part of the process.
and use the ones from their official channel - HYBE
"Awake" jin
Is it normal for me to fall in love with a BTS reactor?
Thank you very much for your comments ☺️
Who doesn't???
BTS was originally a Korean hip hop group. Since 2013 they have evolved into a unique genre of their own. These are all the BTS “official” music videos in reverse order of release. Does not include live or other versions.

There are often several versions of the Official" music video.
The "Ioniq: I'm On It" is a promotional song for Hyundai. But you barely notice the car because the mv & song are so good; similar style as "Film Out"
"Come Back Home" was released on July 4, 2017 as remake of Seo Taiji’s song "Come Back Home" for Seo Taiji 25th Anniversary Remake Project.
They work so hard. So many great songs. Hundreds of songs to explore. Great reaction ❤️
Thanks for your reaction! Would love to see you react to their "Black Swan" music video- a musical, dance, and cinematic masterpiece :)
I recommend Tiny Desk concert or BTS Live Room concert to see their individual voices and harmony!!
Definitely worth going down the rabbit hole, I guarantee you will be surprised 🙂
Black Swan, magic shop live (they are amazing live!!) Are a couple of my favourites.. they all also have solo songs within the album's and the rapper's have solo mix tapes- they are also worth a listen.

There’s a great short documentary on them “from nobodies to legends”, they really are dynamic and beautiful human beings!!! #Army
While some have MV'S, some are even better live (be sure to find ones that have subtitles cc's)
RM : Change ft. WALE mv ; Joke ; Seoul
J-HOPE : Airplane mv ; Outro:Ego mv ; Chicken Noodle Soup mv
Suga : Agust D self-titled mv ; Daechwita mv ; Interlude:Shadow mv
RAPLINE : Outro:Tear live at Wembley ; Ddaeng live w/ eng sub ; DDaeng live w/ end sub
Jungkook : Euphoria live ; My Time live D2 on BTS LIVE 2; Begin live
Jin : Epiphany live ; AWAKE live ; Moon live
V : Singularity mv ; Stigma live ; Inner Child live
Jimin : Serendipity live stage mix ; LIE live stage mix ; FILTER live
Vocal Line: The Truth Unknown live ; House of Cards live ; Lost Live stage mix ; Dimple live stage mix
Just for fun check out their "Ma City" live when they all just broke loose and also have the band GHOST backing them up onstage.
There are other really good ones out there also, such as
2 - "This is BTS: introduction to BTS" by xCeleste.
3 - "An introduction to the 7 members of BTS (2021 update) " by Ida S
Wow, they're great 💃Thank you for sharing and fantastic reaction as always.
Reaction to pts Fake love.
Oh, great, Lukas, BTS rabbit hole and you´re at the edge....LOL :D They are fun, they love each other on screen and off screen, they are like a family, lived together for 10 years. They have ALL type of songs! Please, keep digging. x
BTS HAD MANY STYLES OF SONGS 😍😍😍😍

Its funny to me how all of my favorite music reactors end up with the same bunch of artists at the end. I have watched your Dimash reactions prior this one and I am happy to see you decided to have a listen to BTS as well. They are top of the top. The same as Dimash :-)
It was a marvelous and refreshingly different reaction to BTS - thank you for taking your time and giving them a chance :-) I was really enjoying your mature and calm, sensible approach.
And apparently their fried chicken is the best in the world. lol
BTS members have solo work within BTS and on separate labels.
Enjoy.
BTS💜💜💜
I am 37 years old and along time ago i was wondering why my daughter was obessed with them and now i understand why she loves them...my daughter and I are army(bts fanbase)
Also if you want to learn about them and i hope you learn about them and react to them on your channel. ARMY(their fanbase) has put up some documentaries to have people understand more about bts. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalist. here are some links and hopefully you will react to them as well :

Great that you enjoyed the video! BTS are the most versatile, talented, hardest-working artists you can imagine. They are between 24 and 28 and have a vast discography of about 300 group and solo songs, so they aren't new or particularly young. Their live performances is where their heart is, their stage presence is unmatched. I suggest a medley performance they did a few months ago if you're interested in their versatility: BTS Room Live (there are English subtitles in the closed captions). Have fun!
So happy you have started reacting to BTS :D :D :D
I love that you commented on the milk! Love from Norway.
Thank you Lukas for trying out BTS. Remember there is a BTS song for your every mood! We will wait for your next reaction!
More BTS pleaseeeee...they have lots lots of songssss, and BTS have so many genres
Enjoyed your first time bts reaction😊 I recommend their Black Swan and On Kinetic Manifesto music videos next
little did he know that he's watching the biggest band/artist in the world right now😍nice reaction,
Please check out also their documentary videos 1.
Here's the link to make it easier: th-cam.com/video/gFYAXsa7pe8/w-d-xo.html
And, answering your question, they are really close, I would say they are more than friends, they consider themselves brothers.
I’m subscribing because I liked this reaction and really hope you continue on with BTS. I think you’ll really enjoy the journey. Buckle up 😉
OHH GODD loved ur reaction!!!! knowing they aren't ur from ERA group...but how u appreciated them, got the whole VIBE...love ya!!!!!
Love them!
You know I think I could just watch you read the dictionary lol. You just have a happy face nice to watch . It's the eyes.
:) Thx!
true, I subscribed to @Lukas Hassel for his Dimash's reactions but I could watch any reaction to any band, singer, dictionary, blue sky!
BTS is well-known for their lyrics. If you react to any of their korean songs, please turn on the captions as well.
I enjoyed your reaction! Thank you for giving BTS a look. I’ve subscribed and look forward to your next BTS reaction. 💜
There are so many that I could go on and on, I'll be waiting for your reactions, greetings from the end of the world, a hug

Great to see you back 👍❤ love BTS they always seem to be enjoying themselves. Can't wait for the next reaction...love pentatonix also Angelina has a new adele cover out now xx
Thanks for reaction 💜
Please watch their MV from their original channels (HYBE channel with MVs and BangtanTV with a lot other content)
Maybe Black Swan or Fake love for the next time? (Don’t forget for CC on)
I would love to see more BTS reactions from you!!
Loved the reaction ❤️
Thanks for this reaction. I really enjoyed it. :)
BTS is a South Korean boy band consisting of three rappers and four vocalists. And all seven of them are excellent dancers.
They do a wide variety of music, but basically they are rooted in hip-hop.
All seven members are participating in making their songs by writing, composing, and producing them.
You can watch their dance practice too. :)
th-cam.com/video/CN4fffh7gmk/w-d-xo.html
If you're interested in BTS' other songs, I recommend....
Mic Drop
Blood sweat & tears
FIRE
On kinetic manifesto film
Black Swan
Save me→I'm fine
Daechwita(Agust D 대취타, Suga's solo)
These are pretty different from Butter or permission to dance or Dynamite.(Only these three songs are fully English.) And, all of their music videos provide English subtitles. :)
Their lyrics are very deep and beautiful.
[2021 FESTA] BTS (방탄소년단) BTS ROOM LIVE
th-cam.com/video/RRhjdYsNwAk/w-d-xo.html
It's a medley performance where you can taste the diversity of their music in 10 minutes. They are Korean songs, but English subtitles are provided, so you don't need to worry. :) They don't dance in this performance, but you can see them having so much fun. :)
Thx!
Reacciona a mas videos de BTS, tienen canciones estupendas, ejemplo, Stay gold, Fake love y tantas mas.
Yes please watch BLACK SWAN and ON for starters 💜
You should react to “The Seven Members of bangtan” it’s a fan-made video describing the group and each members personalities/skill sets! It’s a really good video for newer listeners. Great reaction!
love your great reaction~ ☺💜I also recommend "So hyang" the best live diva in Korea. If Dimarsh is the king, Sohyang is the queen. The best vocalist you should never miss ~2015 (Immortal songs 2) "Bridge of Trouble Water" or "I Have nothing" She is at the highest level (STAR) level on the world vocal eevaluation site. The channel has lost its taste ~ 😚Please check, good luck to see your reaction,
This video is studio made and uses nostalgism (about times that never where). They have become big on their Korean (and Japanese) songs.
Awesome that you enjoyed Dynamite! It was my first BTS song that I heard and became ARMY!
I noticed that you watched the music video not from the official BTS channel. I kindly please to refer to their official TH-cam channels, they are: HYBE (their company, where all the music videos are) and BANGTANTV (behind the scenes, covers of the songs, original solo songs, etc.) They always have English subtitles, you just have to turn them on on the video :)
wow, this was cool reaction!
i just have a quick opinion about youtube and reaction video blocking. some artists may be blocking but a lot of the time is youtube doing it there's a 72 to 75 hour waiting period then it will download here's what i've heard. so some reactors will say put their video was re downloaded because it was blocked the first time those are the ones i respect because they didn't distort the video in any way to immediately upload it they waited the period and then uploaded it completely intact. i can't stand when a reaction channel said it was blocked so i had to chop the hell out of the video i had to reverse the image so you have to stand with your back to the screen and look in the mirror to see it properly i stuck a bunch of crap blocking the video i distorted the sound so they sound like mickey mouse or porky pig or the chipmunks i speeded it up the video up but not the audio. i tend to think that a lot of those idiots don't know a damn thing about the fair use clause of the copyright law the fact that it will download 72 hours after it's blocked and if it doesn't you can dispute it with youtube under the fair use clause of the copyright law.
This entire mv is very much colorful and bubblegum, reason being it was released in the middle.of corona to cheer people up.
And this entire video is a set and some green screen shot indoors in South korea! 😅
great reaction , thank you
This was like the most respectfull reaction i saw i really liked it thank you for reacting to them ^^
How could you not have heard of their colab song with Cold Play, MY Universe?!! Please react to that one😉
Request Black Swan next, link supplied: th-cam.com/video/0lapF4DQPKQ/w-d-xo.html
Thanks. Looking forward to more BTS! 😀
Normally, when the first reaction from BTS is Dynamite, I don't enjoy it. I automatically stopped the video and move on the the next search but I actually enjoyed this reaction.
If you'd want to get to know them, you can react to a video from Ida S called *An Introduction to the 7 members of BTS (2021 update)*
If you wanna watch another MV of them, it be best to start reacting to their song called *Dope*
If want a deeper song, for a start, you can check their songs *Blood Sweat & Tears* , *Fake Love* and *Black Swan*
Great to see you back! Miss your reactions. Yes! More PTX please! Lots of new and original material to cover!!!
