I really appreciate you posting unfiltered and long content like this. Most artists online show their works through timelapses or speedpainting, making it seem so ‘easy’ but in fact it is not and takes a whole lot of effort to produce these artworks. I have always rushed my work but after watching your video, I have learnt to be patient and trust the process. Cheers :3
@@letsfindsomepeace9207 and if you wanna learn. you can put the speed to 0.25x or even download the video and put it in video editor put the speed to 0.01x.. if only they put 60fps option on the video.
@@danielwandawn3070 yeah I mean I don't mind this really long form of content. But it's easier to digest if it is sped up. There's pros and cons to both.
man I wished you had narration over these. Your line work and command of brush strokes is amazing. I'm sure you only use 1 brush and 1 layer and get some astounding results is mind blowing. I'm so jealous of your skills!
You are the first youtuber artist that really teach digital paiting...i don't want disturb you but if you can do a tutorial for painting water, it would be great
What I love about these rough videos is, that I don't feel bad/weird that someone spent 3 hours to make 3 sketches, unlike on speed-up process where 4 hours illustration is shown in 1 minute. Thanks for your rough content Christophe ! I feel much more confident about actually spending 3 hours to get some result instead of trying to force myself making something look good in just 10-15 minutes.
Wow! This is a very delicate and fantastic drawing. Digital work feels like hand work! That's great. Keep our meeting! 👍 I watched the video to the end.
I am in love on how you can get the graphite feel on to the canvas. Is it possible to do a voice over tutorial on how you get that effect. When ever I draw using pencil tools it seems like my lines overlap when I try to shade throwing off the similar effect to you I am trying to achieve
@@user-tl5om1ow2b id recommend just experimenting, I'm not sure there is a specific way that this is achieved, trail and error and becoming familiar with that certain set of brushes is my guess.
Man the brush technique he's using is interesting. I can't quite figure out what he's doing. It looks like he's switching back and forth between the brush and eraser but it seems like its more then that simple. This look amazing.
Hi I have no words to express. you made it look easy, but it shows your hardwork to get to this point. could you pls add link to the reference you used.
Head studies..... Well, if you call piloting a ship to Mars and setting a colony a "flying studies". You're a few billion skill-levels late for practice. You downright create masterpieces. Daym.
This is driving me nuts. How the heck is he pushing the lines without switching tools or changing any visible settings like right off the bat? I can see him moving the cursor so its not liquify but I can't figure it out.
Do you draw this from reference or from imagination/memory? Also, I'm not sure if you work with traditional drawing on paper, but if you do, can you also do a video of head studies on paper? I'm a traditional artist and I really like your art, but the drawing process on digital is different from that on paper. However, no pressure though if you can't because this video is still really helpful.
Hey Christophe, I find your art very polished and very high quality, can I ask if you are happy with where you are today? or if youre still focusing/gripped by improving
