Great product but For the amount of money the lightbar cost there should be some sort of channel or a groove machined down the inside of the bracket to run your wires cleanly
This is absolutely needed. I’m sitting with mine still in the box trying to figure a way to tie down the wire harness on my JK Jeep. Last thing I want is a limb snagging the wire and ripping it out. I’m tempted to drill and tap a series of locations to use wire clamps.
Is it better to mount with the opening to the outside of the vehicle or to the inside? I would think that overtime with wind at speed it would force the channel open if mounted towards the inside. Any longtime users have an answer?
I always mount them with the opening on the inside! But I have seen them mounted both ways, currently I have two mounted facing each other to account for ALL the wires I have running from my roof!
If installing an m-rack, will both the wiring for the Pro6 light bar AND the universal wiring harness for the side lights fit in a single wire hider or do recommend using 2; one on each side of the windshield?
Adam...one thing to keep in mind is that the hider accepts and properly closes onto a wire loom/sheathed wire diameter of up 8mm. I'm in the same boat as you. In the end I'm gonna build my own harness from 14/3 cable rated at 15A. At 8.6mm (not worried about that .6mm difference) this particular sheathed wire will have to be ran up both pillars and "Junction" behind the fairing. Gonna be tedious and time consuming but in the end will offer the cleanest install for my specific build. Cheers.
Love that i spent +2K on a light bar and mount for my JL and i have to buy a rubber grommet separately to do a proper install
Love the clean look, no drilling so no leaks in the vehicle.

still waiting for the wireless light bar
Looks like a great alternative to drilling holes in the roof of my Xterra!
Seems like a brutal install. Alot of cuts and some blood to get that thing on 😂
I can see this being popular in the emergency lighting field, too. A lot of departments don't like cutting holes in roofs.
Always love the clean look....
I've got 2 Led lights above the windshield om my jeep. Both wires are 1/4 inch.. would they both fit in that kc wire hider
Looks good! I can see this being used for a lot of different applications.
how many wires can fit in there?
Great concept.....looking forward to trying it

How long can it last ? Its only 3m tape holding it
Just ordered two good stuff! Went to Home Depot looking for cable conduit but it only comes in white (it’s for livings rooms duh)
will this work sedan as well?

Hoping I can get at least two LED wiring wires through it.....
