Nemesis was already in my top 10. My first ride on the Reborn track I was on A LOT of edibles and oh my god it was violent. I think I got the shaky train but it was my best rollercoaster experience I have had as of yet.. brutal.
I love edibles and park rides...lol makes it so chill bur fun for me. Social anxiety and edibles so help me out. Oh I so need to travel to Europe and check out the parks there. Cheers
I got to ride this in July, and it is definitely in my top 3 B&M inverts. What really makes this ride stand out as fantastic to me if the appearance and story, it's a gorgeous ride and the decades of lore are fascinating. Long live Nemesis.
Nemesis Reborn is still one of the greatest coasters ever made after riding 720 coasters I can say its top 50 worthy its my favourite Inverted coaster from the theming. atmosphere, ride layout, pacing every element blending perfectly together it truly is a master piece and Nemesis Reborn truly keeps the legacy of the original Nemesis going for years to come. I really missed it in 2023 and was nice to see it finally return. Dethroned early this year in May by Hyperia, Nemesis was my number 1 for a long time in the UK and is still my number 0 overall I love this original beast.
Alton Towers has not had the strongest season this year but this has been the biggest highlight this season from the new Forbidden Valley and return of Nemesis it has been special at Night this ride truly comes alive and is when its at its best.
Thanks for the review! I've been wanting to ride this for years, hopefully next year I can get out there for some nights rides at their Halloween Event!
From what I’ve heard it is good, there are two spots I know that do have a rattle though, the first is the turn into the last corkscrew, and the half helix into the final brakes.
This new Nemesis statin Monster (the Eye) reminds me a bit of the "Overmind" from StarCarft 1 and 2. The Last Corkscrew is somewhat the same as the last double Corkscrew on the Eurostar traveling inverted coaster... but most likly a lot smoother :D
The original became my favourite coaster after riding it in the back, beating montu for me. After riding Reborn, i was assigned row 3 twice and found it less intense. I still rank it highly, and my rides on the original will keep it above nemesis inferno. I found it even smoother than what it used to be
Not sure if you rode Pyrenees at Japan's Shima Spain Village. That coaster is easily leagues ahead of Nemesis or even Oziris cause it has so much speed throughout the long course plus the helix wrapping around the loop. My favorite coaster in 2024!
@@CanobieCoaster Yeah I do agree Pyrenees doesn’t hold a candle to Nemesis as it has some slight dead spots like the gradual inclines at the end. But it’s still my best coaster of 2024 for its tallness, speed and intensity. When did you rode Pyrenees btw?
I have never ridden nemesis however, this looks like the best invert period. My fave currently is montu, but nemesis looks to have excellent pacing and very good element and layout flow. A truly masterclass design from B&M. One complaint I will say that I have with reborn is that the color scheme imo looks a bit tacky compared to the original white and rust colors. I don’t like how the vein looks on the track, but I appreciate how it’s a unique identity compared to the original nemesis and nemesis inferno.
For what it's worth, It rides even better than you'd imagine. I'm going for Halloween and even though Ive been on it 20+ times, I'm as excited as ever. Hopefully you get to ride one day.
It's amazing. However, it has one big problem: it ruined other inverts for me. I get off a batclone, I get off Raptor, and I think "that was good but it's no Nemesis". The only invert that competes with it in my mind is Banshee, because the vests make a huge difference in comfort.
Got to ride it for the first time ever today! 4 rides, minimal lines, it was an amazing experience I totally nerded out on. Agree that final turn had a little bit of a shuffle, but was also wondering/feeling that there was a magnetic trim in that last tunnel after the final corkscrew. Something reallllly felt dragging in there. Does anyone else feel it?
Apparently the waterfall under the first drop was turned on today. Looks it may be lit underneath, so they appear red with lights on. Hopefully the rest follow in the next couple of days.
The pipeline coaster model was Essentially arrows answer to togos ultra twister model, which was a popular coaster model in the 1980’s, especially in Japan. Intamin also had a pipeline model that one was built in an obscure indoor park in South Korea, in which from all accounts was not that good of a ride at all. So let’s just say that John wardley made the right choice and that he had a point.
I wonder if Nemesis had influences on other inverts besides Nemesis Inferno and Black Mamba, even if the influence isn't as strong? I wouldn't be surprised if the use of trenches with Nemesis influenced inverts even in the US, like Top Gun: The Jet Coaster (now Afterburn) at Carowinds, and Montu at Busch Gardens Tampa.
@@CanobieCoasterI queued 3h which was the lowest of the whole day. Surprisingly the queue doesn’t feel that it drags. Didn’t feel too bored in that queue as it’s such a good queue
No they still move just been slowed down, I am sure repairs will happen over closed season the second claw is yet to be added as displayed in the shop model.
Even though B&M inverts stay smooth for a long time, I am concerned Nemesis Reborn could get rough in like 10 years. I say this because Hulk was running quite rough when I last rode it in 2023.
@@CanobieCoaster I think the gunshots and traffic nearby are louder. Personally I've never heard any complaint rumors about noise other than the fireworks. That bugged locals when I lived there.
only got one ride on it in row 4 single train at 5 it was really whippy but positives felt a bit weka for some reason? it's 6th in my rankings anyways under wickerman (due to a really good night ride i got) and above icon
See in RCDB: Nemesis Reborn at Alton Towers Nemesis Inferno at Thorpe Park Montu at Busch Gardens Tampa Raptor at Cedar Point Black Mamba at Phantasialand How would you compare between those five B&M inverted coasters in terms of forces and smoothness?
Got on reborn the other day. Not a fan :( The OG had a sick roar, looked like “The Thing”, short queue line & a front row queue! Hyperia takes the cake for me now, OG nemesis was my fav in the UK, but that super long queue line & no front row queue wrecks it for me now… We did it 4 times in 20 mins during its last OG season what a classic
See for me it IS a big deal re the rattle. YMMV but it was a glass smooth coaster for 30 years and once again B&M have proven they can no longer construct a glass smooth coaster and actually lowered the ride quality with something that was supposed to be a total refurb.
I'm happy that they refurbished it, but I just don't like the new color scheme. The veins painted across the track just look cheap, like a fairgrounds' attraction. I felt like the rusted looking gray track had a bony and somewhat amorphous look that allowed it to blend well with the environment, on video, this track doesn't seem so.
In my opinion, this is the best coaster content on TH-cam. Thank you.
Thanks!
Nowhere else do you get so much condensed history, precise ride descriptions and even recommendations on when/how to ride etc..
Amen to that
Nemesis was already in my top 10. My first ride on the Reborn track I was on A LOT of edibles and oh my god it was violent. I think I got the shaky train but it was my best rollercoaster experience I have had as of yet.. brutal.
It's an intense ride.

It's such a unique and beautiful ride.
This looks like an elite invert and it looks amazing, bucket list coaster for sure!
An awesome ride.
I always appreciate how detailed and in depth your reviews are!
Glad you like them!
Ah it's funny you posted this today and said it almost always runs 2 trains when it ran with one today.
I love your videos , you really Fill the niche
It was dead today from what I heard so that's understandable.
That track looks like something you'd see on a Cannibal Corpse album cover!
Definitely unique.
Thanks for getting me hyped for our visit next week 👌🏻
Have fun!
The new theming is soooo good
Love it.
The Gift shop too has good theming.
Great review! I honestly love the sequence of the corkscrew helix zero g roll so much
It's amazing.
The greatest color scheme in history on a coaster bar none
It looks amazing.

You're welcome.
Such a great ride
Sure is.
The pipeline coaster literally has turns like on rct3s coaster designing
Definitely a funky looking ride.
Well, it was is in RCT3. And believe it or not it's less janky in the game than the real-world prototype.
From what I’ve heard it is good, there are two spots I know that do have a rattle though, the first is the turn into the last corkscrew, and the half helix into the final brakes.
Rode it last month and I'm pleased to say there was no noticeable rattle for me
I only noticed the last turn.
@@Deletingthishackedaccount possibly like voltron, it might depend on which train.
That final turn makes a really weird noise! All my mates noticed it on every ride, but knly that corner haha
It also is the one spot with a rattle, so I don't think that's a coincidence.
I love how for Nemesis’ 30th, Merlin rebuilt it. For Raptor’s at CP, all it got was a “30TH ANNIVERSARY” label on the FunPix.
Raptor isn't really a major ride at Cedar Point, while Nemesis is probably the reason most people visit Alton Towers
Nemesis probably needed it given the weird location.
I wish as part of the refurb they added a third train - there is certainly enough room to run 3 like Banshee
Is the layout long enough to warrant it though?
7:05 It literally sounds like an f1 car reaching max speed and i personally think its even louder than it was before ngl LOL
I only went to the park once with OG Nemesis. I just remember it being loud.
I adore this ride
Me too.

Any more Alton towers reviews on the way?
Later this year.
I wonder how many trees the park would need to plant in order to build taller attractions. If they even are able to.
If only they had giant redwoods
Will there be park overall reviews from the likes of Alton Towers, Drayton Manor and Fantasy Island coming in due course
Yes

It's a shame Alton Towers doesn't grant seat requests. Always a bummer when parks are difficult, i feel like it really dampens the experience.
Occasionally I can request the back on some rides, but it isn't a guarantee.
wait what day did u last go to Alton Towers I think I might have gone the same day as u 😭
Early September.
Looking at the new monster they converted Nemesis into a Lord of the Rings-themed coaster where you go past the Eye of Sauron.
They possibly took inspiration.

Smooth
What do you think about this ride in terms of pacing?
It's good.
11:08 is is annoyingly becoming common with most new rides and the enthusiasts, nothing can please them
As long as it doesn't cause pain or a headache, it's not a big deal for me.

Nemesis, Black Mamba, Monster, and Silver Bullet are the most unique B&M Inverts of all time (montu is cool but it’s overrated and too forceful)
I agree those ones are unique.
