I love this as an African American this means a lot I don’t know the translation but I know it means a lot to you too and I love the Māori culture and I respect it a lot 💕
Always loved watching Te Maurea Whiritoi perform! Kapa Haka has always been a big deal in my life from when i was a young girl to now. Loved performing alongside them during Regionals & Nationals, i use to perform for Fairfield college & Melville High, tutors were Rapana, Heemi, & Waiti 💙
so powerful to see a rea version of "Noqu Masu" in this roopu's item it makes me so proud of being both fijian and maori much aroha and respect for this roopu. Vina'a Va'alevu.
To be honest I love all the Hakas/Waiatas you guys make, its absolutely amazing and have the best vocals, they always have best meaning behind them like with Kukupa you metaphorically where warning people about corruption.
Ataahua. Beautiful voices and harmonies. I love the costumes for both waahine and taane. Stunning. And just all around excellent performers and choreography.
literally watch this performance multiple times a day and have done for the past couple months. really really amazing performance, great choice of songs, really talented people.
Amazing and what powerful performance by everyone.. The voice, the expression some of which gave me goosebumps.. A culture you need to be super proud of. Good luck to all❤❤
I just love the part of the part with t guy is drumming on the guitar and the sound of everyone is just so clean it’s amazing it. Brings chills down my spine and fills my heart and soul just so happy I wish I could join y’all

Almost always kapa haka teachers give you a backstory so you know what and who your singing for and what emotion to express so I would say that they know
