This past Spring I made a video where I shared 10 things to do to find the magic in the season & experience it to the fullest. Well, I had a few requests to make one for Summer as well & I loved the idea! All of these ideas are simple & enriched in nature and hopefully you might be inspired to do one of them this season! Thank you for sharing your adventures in nature with us!!! The wildlife like the fawn, the rabbit and the fuzzy bee grooming its head were delightful!
We are spending our 2nd summer in our apartment. Our windows look over a narrow grassy expanse backed by a chain link fence mostly overgrown with a mass of vines that flower in Spring and grow small orange fruits in early Summer. When it starts getting hot, later this year than last year, we get clouds of medium sized orange butterflies 🦋🦋🦋 that flutter happily about the vines for months. Watching their antics brings a smile to my face and delight to my heart every time I pause to watch.

There are many unmarried people in their 30s, who have no collage degree, no car, no driver license, no job, no income and no house. They live in their parent's home or a small apartment, they get small amount of money from government and they are stuck in relative poverty. Since all jobs require education, past job experiences and connects they find it extremely difficult to secure employment. They are not materialistic or care about wealth and prestige. This kind of thinking makes them feel free because they don't compete with others or hate themselves for not having the same possessions or status. Instead, they find ways to live well without spending money, they use creativity and they are connected with nature. They prioritize experiences over material possessions, finding joy in simple pleasures like spending time with loved ones, exploring the outdoors, and pursuing hobbies. Their resourcefulness allows them to find fulfillment in the little things and appreciate the beauty of their surroundings. They have learned to value personal growth and inner contentment over societal expectations, leading a fulfilling life on their own terms.

What a wonderful and inspiring video Randi. As always you capture nature so well in your photography and videos. I loved all 10 of your things to do in summer and have done quite a few of them. I love being in nature whether it is at the beach, hiking, or just walking in our neighborhood and enjoying the changes in the flora. I love it every time you show deer as I just adore them. I did make a couple floral lanterns with my pressed flowers from last year and this year. Thank you for the idea. I do enjoy trying new things. I also love fresh berries this time of year and the wonderful sunrises and sunsets. I have made several batches of lavender lemonade as its a favorite this time of year for me. I loved the field of sunflowers. I am glad you are doing seasonal videos like this one as I so enjoy embracing the seasons. Wishing you a wonderful weekend Randi. 🌻🌼🐝🐞🫐🍓🌞🌌

I love these vlogs 😊 Here there's not much nature apart from a park so whenever I can move to someplace else like getting to the woods, beach or mountains I'd go. Nature has so much beauty for the eyes to witness and I'm always thankful for having it around.
