My father asked for Clair de lune to be played at his funeral. He also loved classical guitar and used to play for us as children instead of bedtime stories. I have been looking for an arrangement of Clair de Lune to play at his service this Saturday. I just found it. Beautiful arrangement, technical brilliance, expressively and tenderly played. Thank you.

In Turkish when a person has prepared food for you, you wish them, Eline saghlik, "Health to your hands". That takes on a new meaning here with a master artist. Thank you for such a beautiful rendition, and may God give health to your hands. And joy to your soul.

The most extroardinary guitar version of Clair de Lune I have ever heard . So unbelievably faithful to the piano version. I don't think that this piece can exist as a solo guitar version in any other way than this way . Thank you for this gift!

Pretty much this transcription was transcribed and arranged into this arrangement for the guitar so that the frequencies emitted, while playing the rendition of this piece, vribrate to a proper resonance; Doing the most justice possible so that it resembles the sensations that would be given to the listener otherwise by the original intended conveyance of the composed masterpiece by its creator.
      SO your both right.
      Tomato... Tamato... Same difference
The real identifying distinction is in the taste when it comes down to it.

The thing about an arrangement like this is that, although the actual "shapes" / fingering of the notes are not that impossible, the real beauty of it comes from the expression and (I think it's called) rubato in the playing. Just makes it so beautiful and powerful. Great playing.

This is seriously an incredible arrangement. I bought the music months ago, and after infinite practice, can play through much of it smoothly, and it sounds beautiful. Very difficult, but the included tabs underneath the actual sheet music make life so much easier (while still having the benefit of seeing the how the music was written!). I've never delved into their lesson program, but being able to reference the music to this video is a big help too. Love these guys.

The beauty and otherworldly elements of this composition are so great to hear on a classical guitar! I love piano and there are so many great performances of this song played on piano. I am a guitar player who studied classical guitar in college. But I have since then strayed into many types of other music. Hearing this performance really touched my nascent love of this song and classical music. What a joy to hear this! Bravo!

In my opinion, Emre is the best guitarist when it comes to separating different parts of the piece. I mean emphasizing the main melody, tuning down or up the accompaniments and the base lines. He's a perfect player and arranger, but also the best conductor whose orchestra is just six strings.

The thing I keep reading in the comments is "most beautiful thing I have ever heard." That is great...but if you k ow what the song is about, water playing with the wind and how it ripples on the beach, then the visual of this takes you on a journey too. His finger motions play the notes but dance like the water in the wind with each note.

Wow. Just...wow. I've never heard/seen a solo performance of this piece on guitar that seemed like it wasn't a pale reflection of the piano version. Bravo. If this is your transcription there are probably a lot of players out there who would pay for it.

Saludos Maestro.

    Menudo crack. Indescriptible.

I took five months to learn Debussy's Clair de Lune on the piano and listened to this version and John Williams (classical guitarist) version to better my tempo. This was the second piece of music I learned and the time it took was worth every practice hour.
