Thanks for making this. My 2008 is making a single beep when I put the key on then 4 quick beeps after 10 seconds. According to the manual it means the DESS post isn’t recognizing the key.
Might have to try this.

Try cleaning the inside of the key with some isopropyl alcohol and a Q-tip to make sure the inside of the key is clean there’s not an excess buildup of dirt

So did you have the DESS post and the DESS key that matched, or you just need a new post?

In these older skis you can just change the post out because the key is matched to the ECM on the ski not sure about newer ones if they’re different or not.
