Car Windshield Repair| Aguila Auto Glass

Finally mga ka tech dudes and tech dudettes, no more leakage everytime its raining or rainy season. No more headache everytime it rains. Its been a 2 year problem of mine since ive got this car. Ive noticed that there is a small leak on the passenger side area and since its just a small leak ive disregard it and did a small job on cleaning the wet carpet. But now there is another leakage on the drivers side. Ive managed to sealed the door vapour barrier here • Water leaks | Door Pan... . But there is still water going through the carpet under the drivers side area under the floorboards. So ive decided to go to autoshop to reseal the windshield leak. They've showed me where the leakage could be and gave me an option if i wanted the windshield to be removed but it may crack since the car is too old, probably the glass too. So i opted to just let them reseal all the side of the windshield.
They did a good job on resealing the glass. It tooked them around 1 hour for the job of cleaning and resealing. Now, ive been monitoring the water leakage before i put back the carpet for a few days now. So far there are none. So good job kuya Jimmy and Rody of Aguila Glass of Fairvew branch for a job well done.

Okay naman po ba? Nagpacheck po kasi ako sa aguila glass at ang sabi sa akin may risk daw na mabasag yung windshield ko sa pagtanggak nila kaya hindi muna ako nagpagawa at wala ako pamalit.

Yes may risk po talaga yan since matagal na ung mga salamin natin. Ung sakin di naman nasira since di naman nila inalis. Tinanggal lang ung ibang silicone then palit bago.

Hindi marunong ang mga nag reseal. Hindi dapat nilalagyan ng sealant yun side ng winshield kasi dun ang drainage ng tubig from roof rail down sa sides ng windshield. Dapat nilinis lang yun sides para continous yun drain ng tubig. Top and bottom lang ang dapat ni- reseal. Ngayon wala na drain sa sides, kakalawanging na yan windshield sides kasi stock lang ang tubig dun
