I just moved to Woodside, Queens and didn't have cable set up yet. I was listening on WFAN and in the 8th inning ran out of the apartment and found nearest Irish bar to witness the the Amazins' first no-hitter ever ! OH WHAT A NITE ! LGMets !!!

It was amazing to see it happen, I felt bad for Terry Collins because where do you draw the line for the players sake? Even after the game Terry mentioned it but he was in a now win situation at that point

Congrats the no hitter because that is amazing accomplishment and dream worthy. I admire his guts to finish because it shows his gameman-ship although he labored. The fact that Santana's lost his arm after the event brings up questions of what could have been.

I was 12 rows behind home plate for this game. Beltran hit a double up the LF line, and it was called foul. Chalk flew up...so this is an * no hitter until the end of time.
