Good morning Robbie and Brent. First of all I am baffled that you are losing subscribers, TH-cam has to take care of their members, without you guys there isn’t that much to watch. But most importantly let me say THANK YOU. I feel that every time I watch a TH-cam channel someone is always trying to sell me something. I love how you say that you have the freedom to choose which ever plant you want to place in Your garden just because you Love It. Yes, it is wonderful to have a company to work with, that’s great for business and this is your business. But I do appreciate the sincerity of everything that you said about how you feel concerning your garden. Gardening videos have honestly transitioned from showing different beautiful plants, shrubs, and trees that can enhance the beauty of your garden to trying to convince the viewer that a certain company is what you only need to buy. Everything has the good, the bad, and the ugly. We all learn from our mistakes and what works for you may not very well work for me. I do not care if you are affiliated with any company to follow your channel. I follow you for your content, your integrity, and sense of humor and for always staying true to yourself no matter what happens. Continue with what you are doing, listen to your gut and your heart and to that wonderful husband you have standing next to you at all times. Love you sweetie 💚

I emailed Hoselink directly about painting their hose reels. They responded with "no", but that you can use the Cerakote trim restorer on them. It is the stuff they make for plastic car bumpers and wheel wells. I just bought some, but haven't tried it yet. Fingers crossed!
Have you tried Barkeeps Best Friend for your windows? I think it’s a miracle product. I would try the powdered version, doesn’t scratch but obvious do a test on glass you don’t care about so I’m not blamed. I use it on my shower doors, it works!

I wonder if the potting soils are produced in different areas of the country? Northern Michigan, I have used Miracle grow moisture control soil for 10+ years and have never had an issue. However, I have tried some big box soils and quickly dumped it.

For hard water stains I've cleaned our windows with magic erasers and gotten very good results. It took off years of build up that we struggled to remove with product after product
I've heard on other channels, not garden shows, mention several different times that their subscribers had mentioned that they were no longer subscribers. No one mentioned if they heard of a fix or reason why this is happening. So it would be good to mention that every once in awhile.
Lysol toilet bowl cleaner will get the hard water stains off. not the generic brand

Hi Robbie, love your channel. I'm writing because I used to breed parakeets (budgies) and was very careful to only take one or two clutches of babies per year per pair. It's very tiring for the parents to raise a clutch, so to keep them healthy you should remove the nest boxes before they start on another clutch. Maybe you're already aware of this but it seemed like there were a lot of babies this year. Anyways, love your garden, and the newest fountain, and the lavender hedge and I could go on and on, but just want you to know it's a pleasure to watch!
Your alliums might be unhappy because they don't like to be fertilized.
OK, as I work outside I hear my neighbors rooster and I find I say out loud, that's not my rooster! AND! I find myself saying it's fine! out loud at work! Well even after 30 years of gardening , I'm still learning . My alium bulbs are sensation , not serendipity . Sometimes it is risky ordering online from Home Depot. I mostly have good luck. This ones my fault. But it's all good. The bulbs came in great condition . Love your laid back attitude .

I watched many other TH-cam gardeners who represent a brand, including in your state, and also plant other brands. Maybe there are a variety of agreements depending on amounts or something. 😊

I do have a question for you. I have a large garden both vegetable and flowers over the last few years I have been starting the majority from seed. I would love to have more sustainable seed starting supplies. I have been looking at Bootstrap farmer (there’s so much to choose from)! Which set would you recommend to start with? I am not sure how the system works exactly. So which one for someone new to bootstrap farmer but not new to starting lots of seeds. (I hope that makes sense!)

Hi Gina, allium bulbs are different than the perennial serendipity. I grow both in my garden.
The bulbs grow in the spring with ugly foliage. Often time other plants are planted in front to disguise the bulb foliage. The bulbs do multiply slowly over the years.
Perennial allium has gorgeous foliage and blooms during the summer ( millennium, serendipity, lavender bubbles, bubble bath, etc). Perennial alliums can be divided as well just like any other perennial.
When somebody asks a question, like the serendipity allium, tell them to refer back to the packaging or plant tag. I’m a master gardener, and I always ask people to check the info that came with the particular plant that they’re trying to grow.
There are different allium types. The ones you buy as bulbs such as 'gladiator ' or'purple sensation ' are late spring, early summer blooming, tall ball shaped blooms, strappy foliage that browns quickly and dies before the plant finishes. Whereas the 'serendipity ' type are later blooming with more grassy foliage, shorter more compact blooms. All are pollinator magnets!
