Hi! Hope you see this and share your thoughts on how doing this with dog hair instead of wool. I know they are both completely different textures but maybe with some volumizing spray and a good hair spray I think it might work(: If I shave down a clean long haired pup who’s hair isn’t matted, I’ll save the hair and give it a shot(: I think if it works, it will be a cool way to reuse the excess hair that would ultimately be thrown in the trash anyway. If you’ve already tried that and failed please let me know!
