As someone who was in this industry for a few years i can say the auditioning part is 100% factual. On top of that you're getting that treatment after sitting in a waiting room for 2-3 hours with 50 other people.

Like excited, super excited mega excited. You have to figure that part out and put it forth. So they can judge if the energy level you put out it the level they want.
Just to let you know every props department (even one not in an adult film company) cleans their props very thoroughly on any set. Especially for an adult film they are very cleaned to prevent the spreading of sti's.

Magic Mike is a movie filled with GREAT dancing, and the story is actually really good and well-acted, about someone who isn't sure they want to be a stripper anymore, the stripper lifestyle, and what it's like to change your life to chase your dreams. The sequel is a great Roadtrip movie about camaraderie and friendship, with equally amazing dancing!
I didn’t even last 5 minutes…I didn’t even get to the stripper part. The filmmaking style was horrendous and I had a headache in the first 45 seconds. But again, if you stuck around, we all know why. It’s not a movie with plot or characters in mind. It’s a strip show with terrible cinematography disguised as a movie. It’s like watching porn because you think Leah Gotti is a great actress or Bruce Venture is a great actor. 😂

I love that you watch a small segment, let the entire video play, and that hour comments are made calmly. Obviously we can never have this with a song or a visual video, but in the case of comedy or an interview, or a complication etc., you allow us so that we don't have to come across something new that we want to see, and then immediately watch it again. We can get the entire experience or the actual comedy or interview, while also being able to see your own video at the same time. And that's great!

It's an unbearable punishing to the mind for acting, out of my school experiences the auditions were almost the same. One thing I can say is that my experiences taught me a lot about myself but I give my best regards to those who endure it more than I could handle. It's not a simple craft and it has a lethal toll to your mentality to varying extents. Love the reaction and fun fact fluffy was in an old TV show called All That. Childhood fan favorite for me and he was my favorite character in the show.

Magic Mike isn't bad. Slightly better than Magic Mike XXL. Like yeah its got a lot of half naked dudes providing eye candy for a female audience, but its really a story about performers trying to get by, wanting more out of life than just being a pretty face, trying not to fall into the trap of 'sex drugs and rock and roll'. A fairly classic story plot, just with strippers. The Sequel XXL is similar but its basically a 'one last road trip for closure' type of movie.
With the first movie they were trying to make a Boogie Nights type of movie, trying to be serious and showing more of the dark side of that world. But the audience was like, “just give us half naked Channing Tatum, we don’t need a storyline”, so with the sequel, they just leaned into that and made a more light-hearted movie focusing on what the audience was really there for. 😊
i don't know which was funnier, the story or the look on your face at some of the things Fluffy told about the movie. Yeah, a movie about male strippers and their life may not be your kinda thing to watch but Fluffy playing the DJ is pretty cool.

Male strippers aside it had a deep plot. Male stripper got in young. Wants to get out of the game and it working day jobs and his obvious night job and saving up money to escape and meets a girl.
If you get your mindspace right and you can ignore the fact that it is a movie about make strippers (or 2 movies.. there is a sequel) it is a really good movie from the Story perspective...i recommend watching it Maybe with your wie to make it less " weird" that you watch a movie about make strippers 😅

Props of that nature are always sanitized between shoots, so those were most likely clean
