The sacred music sounds not only epic, but makes worship more intimate. THIS is what the angels sing

I much prefer the Latin mass....the way it was celebrated and the form of the mass my ancestors knew for 100's of years. It is a bridge from the past to the present...making both almost indistinguishable. I love the latin mass and am most comfortable with it but I must confess I am not always at ease with certain types of Catholics it sometimes and does attract . I always allong with my many prayer intentions in my daily rosary/s for the Extraordinary form of the mass to be THE ONE AND ONLY FORM OF THE MASS AGAIN.

THE WAY EVERY MASS SHOULD BE CELEBRATED. NOT IN THE VERNACULAR, NOT FACING THE PEOPLE, NOT WITH SECULAR MUSIC IN THE LITURGY, NOT WITH GIRL ALTAR BOYS, ESPECIALLY NOT WITH SUPPOSED EUCHARISTIC "MINISTERS".

Are there RC churches where this type of mass is celebrated every Sunday? Or this only a special occurrence?

emeeeych Look for a church ministered by the Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP) or the Institute of Christ the King (ICKSP) or look for a diocesan parish offering Traditional Latin Masses. There are lists on the internet.

This is the way Holy Mass should be! Reverent! Not like the Novus Ordo "Mess" which is a mess!

The Holy Mass is extraordinary, but it's not an extraordinary form, It's the Holy Mass....it only became extraordinary in recent time...I guess some feel it necessary to label it from the Protestant Mass know as the Novas Ordo ... Notice there was no" Holy" used after VCII...Interesting.

The audacity to call what Pope St. Pius V declared to the official and unchangable Rite for all the West and used for the better part of 2000 years, "out of the ordinary," and the novel Protestant 'liturgy' 'the ordinary form!'

@@AveChristusRex Friend, it's a misunderstanding. The Holy See follows the roman law way, in what the will of the legislator is what counts. Any Pope can change a disciplinary norm, like a liturgical one, and it is afirmed by the Council of Trent as well. When St. Pius V called this rite unchangeable he meant that no inferior authority could change it, but of course other Pope can, he has the same authority of him. No Pope has authority to make a merely disciplinary unchangeable dogma, and no one meant to. Many successors of St Pius V changed things in the Missal before St Paul VI, including St Pius X and Pius XII.

@@marcotuliomacedobicalhomar8320 The Novus Ordo was not a revision of the Vetus Ordo, but was a new Liturgy. Thus this violates the express, clear wishes of Pius V who did not want anyone whoever to change it, even a Pope - it was as clear as a pope can make a command about an irreformable discipline that I have ever come across. Anyone who changes it will incur "the wrath of Almighty God and the blessed apostles Peter and Paul."
Yet this happened. So the same 'sin' was in a way committed that would be committed were it possible to make disciplines dogmas. Since the same desire was violated, no matter the dogmatic character or lack thereof of said desire.
There is a great difference between having the right to do something, and the prudence or sinfulness of doing it (or even the lack of need for doing it, or positive reason not to do it).
The fruits of the Novus Ordo and its objective worseness make its introduction or implementations sinful alone, in my opinion.

@@AveChristusRex My friend, your opinion goes against the indiscussably dogmatic Council of Trent, which says that the Holy See can change anything not really essential in the Sacrament (that is, the basic formula "this is my body/this is the chalice of my blood", in the cause of Eucharist, the matter, bread and wine, and the necessary minister, a validly ordained priest) in it's decree about the comunion in one specie (a practice criticized by protestant as being antibiblical). And St Pius X used the same formula of St Pius V to change his Missal, one of the many changes that happened before Vatican II. This formula just means that only another pope could change it, not an inferior authority.

@@marcotuliomacedobicalhomar8320 The Novus Ordo Liturgy is not a revision or update of the Roman Rite, it is a brand new Liturgy. Bringing up examples of slight modifications which obviously Gregory the Great himself did etc. are not relevant. No one even the most rad trad person in the world says that a pope can't change the Liturgy or update it in any way.
