    I was already using these methods through trial and error. I guess am on the right track. Combined with push ups these exercises are phenomenal.

    I’ve been doing these on a cable row. I bend all the way forward letting my arms go overhead like in a stretched pull-up position. Then I do this exact movement holding the top and bottom positions. I do this because I cannot do more than one good pull-up.

    These are the best for thicc back
    I do them with neutral/parallel grip
    Pair these with dumbbell pullovers and deadlifts and you have a recipe for a huge back

      RDLs and controlled-eccentric Pendleys are also two good supplements to the pullup for pure hypertrophy.

    NICE! Gironda certainly had some interesting exercises. I just did a video that covered the 'Gironda Dips'. I didn't even realize that he 'invented' this movement, though I would argue that it was probably utilized by gymnasts prior to him. It's essentially a way to work your pullups but at the same time build up to the Front Lever. Anyways, great video and technique description.

    have u eevr tried to do teh straight legged variation ? bodylever hanging pullover ? insane muscle activaTION. WITHIN A FEW REPS UR LATS ARE DONE. first start with knee;s bent and arms bent. slowly move on to legs straight and eventually arms unbent too, which will strengthen the shoulders too. eventually eweights can be added to body with vest and small weights to Feet to make it more difficult. its liek a sternum pullup but more difficult and adds much mroe resiatatnce to the lats.

    So can you use both Pull-Ups grip (Overhand Grips), Neutral grip & Chin-Ups grip (Underhand grip)?

    • @Bodyweightlifestyle
      @Bodyweightlifestyle 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In general I'd say yeah. Depending on your needs you could adjust grip but be getting pretty much the same effect.

      I have been primarily working on front lever, hollow body chin ups and one-arm chin up progressions for the past year at least. This IG post from Oct 2019 shows how far I progressed on the supinated grip tuck sternum pull up which I also call 90 degree pull ups: instagram.com/p/B3pTuoAA9FJ/?

      @@gainingstrength7859 Thanks for the update. It's a move I sort of spontaneously started working towards after sitting down and thinking about the shortcomings of traditional pull ups. I think your coverage of it is one of the better treatments I've seen on the internet. I see how front lever work would achieve some similar benefits.

    There's an apparatus call the tri bomber... triangular handle that hangs over a horizontal bar.... you do that version of the Pull-Ups.
    that apparatus is still in use today by everyone... with the exception of they don't use it on a horizontal bar they use at on a low pulley machine!

    Your form is too strict, it’s like a slow motion version. Which is impressive in its own right but I think u shud be more explosive.
    Also, if u start with your body slightly tilted forward you can use the help of the swing to help u
