Since ancient times in Japan, there has been a custom to purify sacred places by laying small stones. It is also said that the jangling sound made when walking on gravel keeps evil spirits at bay. Another architectural twist is that sunlight bouncing off the gravel softens the surrounding area and wraps it in light, which then penetrates into the interior of the shrine building, making it easier to see.
Kyoto is beautiful. I’m happy to see you guys enjoying the temples/shrines and the local food! Hope you guys visited Nara too, which is also an ancient capital of Japan.
Sorry about that 😥 we typed temple music on Epidemic Sound and we didn't consider the cultural aspect of it. But you're completely right! wish we could change it but it's too late now.
@@jadeandjason. I hear that many of the songs created by composers who don't know much about Japanese culture with an appropriate image are irrelevant. Even with the theme of Japanese temples, I don't think I can really trust songs made by non-Japanese.
🤣🤣 you know I didn't really pay attention to how it looked I just grab it😅 They did look a bit dusty but I didn't want to be rude🤣 I just couldn't believe they put out so many fake ones it seemed weird.
Kyoto, which flourished as the capital of Japan for 1000 years, has a different history. Kyoto does not impose building height restrictions or grant permission for unusual constructions so as not to disrupt the cityscape. In the basin, summers are howling hot and winters are bitterly cold. In summer in Kyoto, it is standard to cool off on the riverbed.
So are you telling me all the Japanese girls that wear the shortest skirts I have ever seen have no morals? I saw people all over Japan including Japanese people wearing what they want so I assumed it was an old fashion thing and wouldn't apply to cities. It's rude of you to say I have no morals when it's just a cultural difference that's not even followed through by all the Japanese people. And from what I can tell Japanese people are kind and not judgmental or am I wrong?
Your describing the taste of mitarashi dango as an uncooked donut literally killed me. That was the last thing I ever expected🤣
🤣🤣🤣 I think I was more focused on the texture to be honest. It obviously tastes way better😅
What beautiful couple ❤
Thank you!!!😁 that's very kind❤️

Thank you so much for that information!!!😁 that is probably the most interesting thing we have ever heard. It makes so much sense now😊
Well come to Japan !. Enjoy your travel and have good time.
Thank you! 😃

Sadly we never got to visit Nara but we will definitely be back😁
The background music in Opning is Chinese music. It doesn't fit Japan at all. It's like playing a canzone on a Paris video.😭

Were the Dango samples so elaborate that they looked real ?

From a Japanese perspective, this looks the happiest.
It was so delicious 😋 We were very happy ourselves 😁
