Once there was a band called the "Dunedin Scottish Dance band"by their leader Angus Sutherland.They made a 45 vynil recording on the Waverley Label.On the sleeve of this item was a photo of Craigivar Castle,it was a series of a number of 45 EP's. Somebody knows what I'm talking about here?
Is there any possibility that you would have access to the tune? My team is dancing another eightsome reel at a festival soon and we only have this creepy one (which sounds like a cat being skinned, so we don't want to scare the people...).
Lovely to see this old traditional dance alive and well and being danced with such energy and enthusiasm by these young people!

What a lot of fun watching this video. I especially liked the end bit with the dancer having to race around the outside to join the circle!!!!
