The only time I've come close is videos like this when there isn't actually any interesting bass to begin with, and Julia just improvises all over it. It's not really so much of a cover as it is her just doing what she does best.
That's not a knock on Julia at all, far from it. I just don't enjoy it as much, because the song itself sucks without the good bass.
Best part about watching her uploads. Is that I go back and listen to song. She is by far the most accurate. I've heard alot of covers on TH-cam.

how does a Julia Song works? First we have a calm beginning and we are allowed to listen to the song itself. The come some first extra notes added, that's like Julia calling to us: "are you ready?!", "ARE YOU READY?!!!" And then comes the transition to music heaven and Julia and all we are grooving, were no time and space exist, just music.

These’s a thing when you can move the the bass line further in front of the sound picture, you kind of give yourself more space to be more expressive and creative. Like Julia does here in spades. Elevating the bass to a totallly different level. Pure art
