These aliens feel Trojan horse as hell, something isn’t right.
So, the Aetherians can't enter Fluidic Space because it disrupts them. Sounds similar to the Iconians can't time travel because it messes with their minds. And the Borg Kingdom are invading Fluidic Space because it can lead to other universes. The Tholians and the Undine are being cautious and don't fully trust the Aetherians. Not surprising they are xenophobic species. However, no ones know much about the Aetherians, so it is possible they may be right to be suspicious of them.
Edit: Right after the Mirror Borg Unimatrix or Unicomplex is destroyed, suddenly the Aetherians create a pocket of space that allows them to be in Fluidic Space. They say they are doing this to make sure that another Vortex doesn't shows up in Fluidic Space, and they say want to help the Undine with this issue, but the Undine commander says that his people will be watching them since they find it rather suspicious which I agree.
Also 55:45 to 55:55 This explains why that one mirror borg looked confused when it looked at Harry Kim in that earlier mission.
Edit 2: I didn't expect the player's character to be assimilated and I feel bad for Kuumaarke. She almost gets assimilated by the Borg in the previous mission but luckily the Borg Kingdom had a hard time trying to do that. And she gets traumatized when seeing the player's character as a Borg and trying to assimilate her since she considers the character as a friend and seeing her friend turned into a drone scared her.
I'm still of the mindset that the Aetherians are the bad guys. I feel that both the mirror Borg and Aetherians are not good. Falling into the trope "Evelier than thou."
Borg Harry said your new friends are powerful Harry and to watch his friends, who are these aliens and what’s their agenda? They said they brought peace to their galaxy, how, by force?

Why are they making such a big deal out of her killing the borg king? They were killing Borg the entire time with her in a ship or in person they always have this ridiculous idea that killing a bad guy is worse than allowing the bad guy to run around murdering millions. It’s ridiculous. Evil must be ended that’s it
I found this episode to be fantastic I was not prepared for the middle and end of the episode. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here in STO.

This was a long but awesome episode. the Assimilation part was unexpected but well done. I was not expecting Harry to be the Borg King either. Also I am wondering if he was in fact stalling or maybe he was hinting at the Aetherians's not being as benevolent as they seem.
So many open questions! It's gonna keep it interesting for sure!
i will say that it was only a matter of time until the player char was assimilated in some way.

It’s been bugging me whether the Aetherians are a totally new Star Trek race or if they’re from some show I haven’t watched, they just seem really familiar. Then I remembered that they were in XCOM Enemy Unknown
The Borg overlay is very similar to the one in Star Trek Borg

I Is it that you are underneath it? I can't seem to do any damage to the big ship before being wiped out by the entire Borg fleet. I get that I might not be specc'd as well as you, but I mean dang, You take it out quick.

How did you absolutely wreck the Unimateix vessel so easily… I literally haven’t been able to do any damage whatsoever. I’ve been doing it for 3 hours. What am I missing lol
Focus only on the Main Vessel. Let Everyone else fight the smaller ones
How are ppl destroying that last ship so easily I have dying for 3 hours straight in this 1 area. it has spawned over 20 enemy probes of various types and I cannot get near it?

that whole thing with Kuumaarke made no sense. they spent the past 45mins blasting nothing but Borg! why get all emotional over blasting the Borg King! she shoulda went all Jean Luc on his ass! 🤣👊🖖
Really simple one Kuumaarke was captured and almost asimalated. Two when we were put into that position with our crew we almost attacked Kuumaarke. Three is it any wonderment that she had a PTSD attack after those two things happened to her I think not? Wouldn't be surprised if they were setting Kuumaarke up for something down the line for this story arc as there are bound to be at least three episodes left.

These missions/episodes are almost getting to the length of actual movies. Incredible boring and repetitive movies.
