Last year, I repurposed my old 2014 Pentium laptop into a server by upgrading it with a 240GB SSD and a 1TB HDD. I set up a 100GB ZFS mirror pool between the SSD and HDD, and I'm using a USB-to-Gigabit Ethernet adapter. The server runs Proxmox VE with several LXC containers for Home Assistant, Plex, AdGuard, and Immich, all working smoothly. It runs 24/7 with a power consumption of only 10W. For home use, I find the 1Gb Ethernet connection sufficient, though upgrading to 2.5Gb would require a compatible network switch.
@@commieTerminator as of now i am satisfied with it, developers keeps updating it and add new features, i tried nextcloud but getting issue to config https secure connection outside my network. So, thats why i try Immich and it do what i want, are you using it?

Hi,
i have been reseraching to build a Server for me, i Will be using it for mutiple things like, NAS, Personal Cloud, Virtualization & Containerisation (to Run AI apps), and also Print Server for home. I was not able to find a lot of hardware choices in India. Outside content creators have crated videos but that kind of hardware is not present in india. Your content might help me build this.
Thanks.
Sir can u make a video about a server for machine learning on cheap and which GPUs are more economical
