Our self worth and identity is given to us by God. God made us who we are so we could make known who he is. Our identity is for the sake of making known his identity. The more we experience God’s forgiveness and love, the more we think of him and the less we think about ourselves. When we are excited and secure in his love for us, we don’t need to try to find meaning by loving ourselves.
I can't believe that God's love is unconditional tho? Anything real has conditions. Plants grow IF they get water and sunlight; Shadows form IF light is present; Your phone turns on IF it has battery. I don't understand how something as essential as love (especially loving something as flawed as a human) can come without any strings attached.
You see, he says to love yourself but then there's me, the person who says to herself that she's wierd,stupid and an idiot. 😂😅 I should quit that habit...😅
Where in the bible does God say to love yourself? Yes we should NOT hate ourselves because God made us fearfully and wonderfully in His image but as humans our nature is already to love ourselves(Ephesians 5:29). Instead we should enjoy God's love for us.
