This is such a magical film. Literally enchanting. I'm so sad because it's so underrated - in my opinion it's one of the best animated films of all time.
Being better doesn't matter, just getting kids to read is what Harry Potter did. The story is only second compared to the number of kids who started reading because of it.
I was very happy when Sky: Children of the light made a collaboration with The Little Prince 😭 this is the best movie that I had ever seen, touch me every time. This collaboration between them made my old good memories back 😭😭 I'm crying
You and I will also have to face death alone. Death is the arresting officer who takes souls to Judgement. Jesus paidnin His life's blood the atonement of your sins, if you call on Him He will impute to you His righteousness and you will be born again, and live forever just as He lives forever.
Something that almost makes the story more beautiful is the story of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. He was himself a pilot who had previously crashed in the desert who one day vanished without a trace while flying. I personally choose to let the imaginative child inside my soul believe that he left to be with his friend.
@Hatred fun fact the original line in the French version of the book is : "On ne voit bien qu'avec le cœur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." wich woul literaly translate to: "We can only truly see with the heart. What matter is invisible for the eyes."

I actually found the trailer to be a lot sadder than the movie lol. Don't get me wrong the movie was great. Very heartfelt and full of emotion. Great animation and some life lessons, but I thought it was going to be sadder. Going into it, I had never heard of the little prince short story before, so seeing how they weaved it into this other story was cool. A story within a story and done very well
my dad passed away suddenly last friday. and my mom and I watched this last night. it just made me think of him. and i did ball my eyes outba few times.

I have read The Little Prince millions of times and my parents finally decided to show me this movie. I was telling the story along with the movie. The book always brought tears to my eyes... But the movie...The movie made me cry waterfalls. The animation is so well done. I'm gonna have to read\show The Little Prince to my future children...

Ainsley Walker Its a childrens book and its absolutely beautiful!!! The page the little girl is reading from is a direct page from the book!!! Read it, it's timeless and hugely famous. A must read, for any age!!
Ainsley Walker Yes "Le petit prince", the little prince in english is a book for childrens written by french aviation and aeropostale pioneer Antoine de Saint Exupéry. He was a famous writter, poet, and pilot. He disapeared during WW2 between Marseille and Corsica in his P38 Lightning reconnaissance plane while taking pictures. The plane was found 60 years later in the mediterranean sea, but not his body. The circumstances of his death are still unknown.

***** yes I have! I'm huge fan of the book and its's now one of my favorite films! I just meant that Kung Fu Panda is just a funny sounding title in contrast to all the artwork in this trailer
I watched it with my nephew (12 years old) and we both liked it. Though it was really sad and profound to be considered a kids' movie. Is more for adults or teenagers in my opinion.
I read the book with my mom and I'm so happy that this adaptation overall stayed true to the story. It's beautiful and I'm glad it has been made a movie.
Movies and other media for kids *can* be profound. Don't treat kids like they're stupid. If you feed them junk food media or shows where the moral is stated as plain as daylight as though the world is written all in black and white for the sake of because "it's for kids!!", they'll never learn anything.
Both me and my little brother (age 6) saw this movie and we both fell in love with if. He cried with me and he understood some stuff others I had to explain. But other than that, I believe this movie is for all ages.
There is no possible way that I can describe how beautiful this film was. Not only is the animation a work of art, the dialogue itself is unlike anything I've ever heard. When I watched this film, a simple conversation between the pilot and the little prince made me bawl my eyes out. This film does not only provide young and old viewers with life-long lessons, it also is probably the most beautiful and raw representation of what love, friendship, and growing up really means. Also one of the most quotable movies ever: "It is the time wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important." Sorry for the novel of a comment; but honestly, this film deserves it.
It's been years when i last seen this movie. But i can still remember the scenes so vividly, i even dream of it sometimes. I wqs a kid when i saw this movie but i still cry whenever it crosses my mind. It's like embedded to me and my personality. To whom that created this masterpiece, i will never forget this story and forever cherish it. Soon, i hope i may be able to share this with my kids. I don't really know why and how i still remember it so vividly. I even forgot the title a long time ago, it was very hard to look for it on internet, but i finally found it.
The most profound part of this movie is when the prince speaks about how stars are beautiful because of a flower that can't be seen and that a desert is wonderful because of a hidden well. Profound if you know what he's referring to! Anyone who's had a NDE will know exactly what this means.
@@chickennuggets3429 I'm gonna guess, simply that things can be beautiful for reasons that cannot be seen. Unlikely reasons, like imagining a hidden bountiful well within an expansive desert. The conformity of patterns from microscopic to galactic?
My theory is the little prince died and went to stay in the stars. That's why when the old man died, you could hear them both laughing in the stars at the end.
Just because you're older doesn't mean you'll change. You have the choice to change. Congrats btw. But don't forget this: Live your life the way you want to, not what others want
I'm late but..."maybe what growing up really means is knowing, that you don't have to just be a character, going whichever way the story says. It's knowing that you could be the author instead!" ~Love letters to the dead
+purpleshadow11 I have grandkids now and they help me forget about growing up. I can be 2 and 5 all over again. It's great :-) Hot Wheels and Thomas the Train and Charlie Brown and Santa Claus and Bambi and and and and
Just saw the movie and this is absolutely beautiful! I remember reading this story when I was younger and I always knew the story carried a huge weight of emotions beneath the surface. This movie portrayed the story exactly like how I imagined. Loved all the hidden messages of life behind every scene. Wake up everyone!
Indeed it is, Sky really just brought back my childhood, when I see the trailer from Sky I don't even remember this movie was exist, I'm really regret I didn't recognise that sooner 😭
We lost my grandpa this year, the little girls relationship with the aviator seemed all too familiar. I read the book in high school, but my niece never had. We watched it together and I cried harder than I ever had because of a movie during the scene in the hospital when she brings him the flowers. What a beautiful movie...I'm glad we got to watch it together.
Katie Spad Exactly what I've been saying! I've watched the trailer already like 1000 times, and as soon as I hear the Fox, I'm bawling. Can't wait for the movie!!
The story of the little prince is so magical. I remember reading it as a kid in a picture book and it made me feel things.. The story is engraved in my mind and as I grow up, I slowly understand the meaning behind it. I realized that the meaning is for adults, not for children.

I love the mix of animations and styles in this movie! It seems like a very promising movie, though I've heard of the book, I never read (because I didn't find it).It seems to also teach children and adults alike lessons about life and growing up.
+Aya Kemono We actually read it in one of our classes back in middle school. I'm already in my 3rd year of college.... This trailer makes me wanna pick it up again. :')
+Aya Kemono I JUST SAW THE MOVIE. AND IT'S BEAUTIFUL! The Music, The Animation, The Story! It has lessons about LIFE, LOVE, DREAMS, MEMORIES, FRIENDSHIP, STUDIES, FAMILY, and ALL especially in GROWING UP.
" The Earth is not just an ordinary planet" "what is essential is invisible to the eyes" " what makes the desert beautiful is that somewhere it hides a well" etc.
"I'm not so sure wanna grow up anymore" GROWING UP ISN'T THE PROBLEM FORGETTING IS. I relate to that so much I'm 13 and just wanna be young forever I cry when I know I'm gonna grow up and not have these silly but astounding memories I'm sorry I just can't,literally serious💔😭😭😭
+Chanthasone Insixiangmai You've gotta!!! There are plenty on the internet, I read it again yesterday in less than 2 hours after seeing this trailer. :) it's definitely a unique experience worth it!
I got the french version from Paris, the original one, if you can get it, do it, altough you dont understand french you will be happy having the real version.
Sky was a genius for collaborating with this movie because now I feel like the little prince is MY friend. I’m currently waiting for the final quest to drop and I’m so worried for him.
I was assigned to read the book for summer reading in 2005. I scoffed at it because it came off as a children's book. However, what I discovered is that this book is one of the great works of philosophy.
I used to watch this movie all the time on Netflix before it was taken off of it. Then recently I found the book at the library, watched the movie again, and now I'm here, watching the trailer for the first time. This is one of the best and most criminally underrated movies of all time. The story, the characters, the music! I don't even know what to say. The little prince reminds me of a younger brother I want to protect, which I actually have. More people should watch this, but unfortunately it's not easy to find for free. It's still one of my favorite childhood movies.
read the book, dont let your kids watch stuff, let them read, read, read. reading is so important in their creative development, movies turn them to consumers, but books make them active learners, trust books are the gem of this world
I’m glad that the little prince is getting recognition by people from Sky COTL. I really liked the book and movie when I was younger and it makes me happy to see characters or characters resembling the ones from the story.
Watched this movie, when it had came out in selected theaters. The year is now 2020 and I remembered this movie and all over again it is making me emotional, now as a full grown adult I came to realize that even though life transitions a lot when you are an adult, you don’t have to change. And always stay true to yourself. At least I have ! Always remain humble and remember why you started! We all gonna make it !
I cannot stress how amazing this movie is. It's full of childhood and the animation is just wow. I definitely recommend this to watch but be warned you may cry! Honestly the best movie I've ever watched and it needs so much more recognition, please watch it to support the makers! Definitely a 10/10
people in my class say i have to grow up, that i should not play with lego that i have to act normal and behave like the adult i'm but i don't want to why should i? this is how i am and how i always want to be.
+Thai Pham Watching My Little Pony doesn't have anything to do with one person's maturity. Maybe kab hes acts more childish than is expected of him/her (that's what's implied in his/her comment) but watching MLP doesn't really say anything about your behavior, other than the fact that you like MLP.
Homeworld-Gamers lol, it's ok. I watch My Little Pony with my little cousins sometime. It is a good show in teaching friendship. Srry for hurting your feeling
I am. :') The season ripped my soul out. I hadn't heard of the Little Prince before. And I didn't recognize any of the dialogue he said at first. It made me grow more attached, in a way. Because it felt fresh and more genuine. And therefore, I cried when the Little Prince vanished.
I never knew about this movie and only found out about it because of Sky. The movie and the collabed game made me cry, might read the book soon as well.
This movie made me cry until my eyes were sore. Even just this trailer already makes me teary-eyed. It's rare and awesome that some movies can really speak to you the way this movie spoke to me.
Absolutely beautiful and heartwarming and I can't even explain it's noe my favorite move of all time, I cried so many times because of how amazing this movie was
Paramount dropped the ball and it fell into that weird void things disappear and never return. Ballpoint pens and left socks, stuff like that. This had very limited release and the studio gave no reason, dropped the rights (I think) and never released in USA so getting a hardcopy was tricky. Grr!
It's so weird, I just bought the book last weekend not knowing what to expect but wanting to get back into reading and I have just fallen in love with it. To find out just now that they're making a film?! This has made me tear up. I'm so happy.
I cried 3 times before I was half an hour into the movie--and I'm not talking little sniffles, I'm talking huge tears from both eyes smeared all over my face. I was less invested at the added parts near the end, but it was still beautiful and I adore the message. The Little Prince is one of my new favorites. I highly recommend you all read the original children's book too, just for the record. Worth every second.
This is such a magical film. Literally enchanting. I'm so sad because it's so underrated - in my opinion it's one of the best animated films of all time.
Me too i agree
Yeah next to Coraline, Ballerina, The Missing Link, and such.
It reminded me of what I had lost from my childhood, things like innocence and wonder. A beautiful, precious film.

The Little Prince is, unequivocally, the most beautiful book ever written and one that every single human being should read no matter their age.
Totally. Also if they read it as kids they MUST re-read it in their 20's :oo
It's #3 on my list of all time favourites :) Definitely 100000x more meaningful and better for children than Harry Potter

This movie is gonna have me crying tsunamis of tears
I feel you
+N Gropius gipgehhohjoo
+Danny Boi I cried at the cinema. ALL. THE. MOVIE. And I'm proud of that!
+Danny Boi Yesterday I sat in the cinema surrounded by kids, crying like a little baby.
***** damn
The song is: Gabrielle Aplin - My Salvation beautiful song

I cannot-
The crazy thing is, parents like that really exist, planning every. single. hour of the child's life
Jay Ddragon It sucks. Let a kid live.
They aren't that bad as long as they have freedom. Some parents like that are assholes.
Jay Ddragon Let me guess; you're in your teens and 20s, and you know everything about how a parent should be?
Rainy Jane Let me guess; you're in your middle age, and you know everything about how a child should be?
Rainy Jane if you say that is because you didn't have to deal with it. It sucks
This movie is the most beautiful thing ever. I cried so hard.
Lee101faith me also!
You should try to read the book too, if u want to. ☺
I always come back to this movie and book. It’s such a simple and beautiful story and illustration in both that never gets old.
Gabrielle's voice
Jessica Boor do you know the name of the song?
Phinnix Salvation by Gabrielle Aplin
thank you so much!
Jessica Boor OH THANK YOU
The most profound part of this movie is when the prince speaks about how stars are beautiful because of a flower that can't be seen and that a desert is wonderful because of a hidden well. Profound if you know what he's referring to! Anyone who's had a NDE will know exactly what this means.
Can you possibly describe what exactly little prince meant by that?
@@riyanagdeo1454 I hope that helps
I don't understand, please explain
@@chickennuggets3429 I'm gonna guess, simply that things can be beautiful for reasons that cannot be seen. Unlikely reasons, like imagining a hidden bountiful well within an expansive desert. The conformity of patterns from microscopic to galactic?
Jason
Thank you, I'll take that.
I cried at least 3 times during this movie. It is so sad, and yet so good. I wish there was more movies like this one.
I just saw this on Netflix. It's beautiful :)
I just saw it on Netflix too
Lols
My theory is the little prince died and went to stay in the stars. That's why when the old man died, you could hear them both laughing in the stars at the end.
omg me too. I didn't have faith in it, but once I watched it I realized what is best is invisible to the naked eye..😉
+Missy same!
Most beautiful movie I ever watched, I cried twice. I didn't cry tears of saddness, but tears of joy.
I literally graduate tomorrow... I DON'T WANT TO GROW UP
+purpleshadow11 Congrats :)
Just because you're older doesn't mean you'll change. You have the choice to change. Congrats btw. But don't forget this: Live your life the way you want to, not what others want
I'm late but..."maybe what growing up really means is knowing, that you don't have to just be a character, going whichever way the story says.
It's knowing that you could be the author instead!"
~Love letters to the dead
+purpleshadow11 you grow up when you forget how to be a child
+purpleshadow11 I have grandkids now and they help me forget about growing up. I can be 2 and 5 all over again. It's great :-) Hot Wheels and Thomas the Train and Charlie Brown and Santa Claus and Bambi and and and and
Just saw the movie and this is absolutely beautiful! I remember reading this story when I was younger and I always knew the story carried a huge weight of emotions beneath the surface. This movie portrayed the story exactly like how I imagined. Loved all the hidden messages of life behind every scene. Wake up everyone!
Same i saw the movie But a long time ago than u did lol
I have to thank Sky for introducing me to this soon to be what I think is a masterpiece
Indeed it is, Sky really just brought back my childhood, when I see the trailer from Sky I don't even remember this movie was exist, I'm really regret I didn't recognise that sooner 😭
fr, I never knew this movie existed yet , can't wait for new season
We lost my grandpa this year, the little girls relationship with the aviator seemed all too familiar. I read the book in high school, but my niece never had. We watched it together and I cried harder than I ever had because of a movie during the scene in the hospital when she brings him the flowers. What a beautiful movie...I'm glad we got to watch it together.
Am I the only one who cried while watching the trailer?
Nikola Rivera no you're not
Nope. I don't even want to know how much I'll cry when I watch the actual film.
Nikola Rivera I did the same thing.
Katie Spad Exactly what I've been saying! I've watched the trailer already like 1000 times, and as soon as I hear the Fox, I'm bawling. Can't wait for the movie!!
Nikola Rivera you are not alone :')
Honestly.
One of my favorite movies. To relatable. And the hidden messages put inside it really make the movie shine.
The story of the little prince is so magical. I remember reading it as a kid in a picture book and it made me feel things.. The story is engraved in my mind and as I grow up, I slowly understand the meaning behind it. I realized that the meaning is for adults, not for children.
I need this I need this I need this I need this in my life right now.
me too !!! I'll watch it today

+Branchy Vlogs You have to pay for Netflix
actually this movie makes you stronger to me, it helps you understand of the true nature how an heart works and what's the right thing to do .
I just finished reading the book, and I'm sobbing. I watched this trailer to distract myself, now I'm crying even more.
I love the mix of animations and styles in this movie! It seems like a very promising movie, though I've heard of the book, I never read (because I didn't find it).It seems to also teach children and adults alike lessons about life and growing up.
+Aya Kemono you can find it easily in pdf format for free.
Listened to the book on TH-cam the second I saw this the books beautiful and makes me tear up when I think about it.
"-I'm not sure I want to grow up.
-Growing up is not the problem. Forgetting is." 🌹
Paul Rudd in an animated movie. I'm sold.
Greg Poblete Paul Rudd in anything, I`m sold. :D
Greg Poblete Paul Rudd could eat a bar of soap for two hours and film it, and I would watch it opening night.
Witch ones Paul Rudd?
which, damn autocorrect. >:)
I think he might be playing the pilot/narrator when he was young.

Cried at the end of the book, cried at the end of the film.

" what makes the desert beautiful is that somewhere it hides a well"

Indeed...✌😉🌃
this trailer hit me like a ton of bricks. I got emotional. Should I read the book first or jump straight to the movie?
Read the book. It will make you cry.
+Jacqueline Okeke that's what I'm going to do Jacqueline Okeke.
Read the book first but its in french
Jinyi Lu I can read french. i went to college
oh, I read the book with my class. But you should still read the book first
"I'm not so sure wanna grow up anymore"

Don't forget that childish spirit

This movie made me wanna read a novel version. I'll find one soon.
+Chanthasone Insixiangmai You've gotta!!! There are plenty on the internet, I read it again yesterday in less than 2 hours after seeing this trailer. :) it's definitely a unique experience worth it!

I got the french version from Paris, the original one, if you can get it, do it, altough you dont understand french you will be happy having the real version.
most beautiful story ever!
I like how the little fox is following along this story
Sky was a genius for collaborating with this movie because now I feel like the little prince is MY friend. I’m currently waiting for the final quest to drop and I’m so worried for him.
I was assigned to read the book for summer reading in 2005. I scoffed at it because it came off as a children's book. However, what I discovered is that this book is one of the great works of philosophy.
am I allowed to cry already? Cause I am.
Like this if u cry evrylime
I used to watch this movie all the time on Netflix before it was taken off of it. Then recently I found the book at the library, watched the movie again, and now I'm here, watching the trailer for the first time.
This is one of the best and most criminally underrated movies of all time. The story, the characters, the music! I don't even know what to say. The little prince reminds me of a younger brother I want to protect, which I actually have. More people should watch this, but unfortunately it's not easy to find for free. It's still one of my favorite childhood movies.
Did I really just tear up from a trailer? This is gonna be a feels trip for sure!
I adore this movie... If I ever have any kids, I'm buying them this movie for Christmas.
... Or... maybe this Christmas... For myself! ;)
no need to buy it. just get netflix
read the book, dont let your kids watch stuff, let them read, read, read. reading is so important in their creative development, movies turn them to consumers, but books make them active learners, trust books are the gem of this world
asdwaetd Will do that first...
+asdwaetd yes then watch da movie
@@asdwaetd love this comment
I’m glad that the little prince is getting recognition by people from Sky COTL. I really liked the book and movie when I was younger and it makes me happy to see characters or characters resembling the ones from the story.
Watched this movie, when it had came out in selected theaters. The year is now 2020 and I remembered this movie and all over again it is making me emotional, now as a full grown adult I came to realize that even though life transitions a lot when you are an adult, you don’t have to change. And always stay true to yourself. At least I have ! Always remain humble and remember why you started! We all gonna make it !
watched it on the plane and i was bawling my eyes out. everyone was staring at me but i just kept on crying. the feels tho, the feels. 😞😞
Oh my gosh the feels... am I crying?
The book taught me so much, the movie will make me cry.
+kab hes haha, your avatar said it's all, "my little pony". It's depend how your childish behavior level is
+Thai Pham Watching My Little Pony doesn't have anything to do with one person's maturity.
Thai Pham ...I can't tell if you're a troll or what. You didn't "hurt my feelings", cut that condescending crap.
Thai Pham i dont even dare to say that i like my little pony
Who's here because of "Sky: Children of the Light"?
thought I was the only one, no wonder they wanted to collab!
I am. :') The season ripped my soul out.
I hadn't heard of the Little Prince before. And I didn't recognize any of the dialogue he said at first. It made me grow more attached, in a way. Because it felt fresh and more genuine. And therefore, I cried when the Little Prince vanished.
Whichever studio dropped this movie better be sorry....thanks Netflix for picking it up!
No network dropped this movie idiot and netflix did not produce it. They’re just streaming it. Gosh!
The Trailers alone enough to give a teary vibe...such a beautiful movie
Little Prince: "If you please, draw me a sheep."
Me: OH MY GOSHHHHHHH I REMEMBER WHEN HE SAID THAT OMGGGG
I'm gonna watch this movie and I'm gonna cry because it looks amazing

"Growing up is not the problem, forgetting is" 😭😭❤️
ALL THE FEELS JUST HIT ME IN THE FACE!!!
I never knew about this movie and only found out about it because of Sky.
The movie and the collabed game made me cry, might read the book soon as well.
Hope you do! The book is amazing
I remember watching this film with my mother definitely hits my feels and I still remember it to this day.
This movie made me cry until my eyes were sore. Even just this trailer already makes me teary-eyed.
It's rare and awesome that some movies can really speak to you the way this movie spoke to me.
Put this movie in the Theaters, now. I see an Oscar for this film.
Pov: you see this because of Sky: Children of The Light 😆
Absolutely beautiful and heartwarming and I can't even explain it's noe my favorite move of all time, I cried so many times because of how amazing this movie was
Just watched this movie just now, and what a beautiful experience it was. Truly one of the most touching films I've ever seen. Thank you ♡
Paramount!!!!! HOW COULD YOU DROP THIS MOVIE!?!?!? I was really looking forward to it! :(
+Collin Carver Netflix saved the day.
I just heard about this movie yesterday. How did it slip past my radar? This looks awesome!
Paramount dropped the ball and it fell into that weird void things disappear and never return. Ballpoint pens and left socks, stuff like that. This had very limited release and the studio gave no reason, dropped the rights (I think) and never released in USA so getting a hardcopy was tricky. Grr!
"Your gonna make a wonderful grown-up"
21 year old me 😭😭😭 tnk u
This movie made me cry. It was so beautiful.
Sky bring me back here.
Never expected that rewatch this trailer would pour me with undone memories and full of tears on my eyes Q.Q
In my opinion, this and Klaus (netflix) are the most underratet movies ever...
klaus is amazing
