La Boqueria Market (Mercado de La Boqueria)
One of the most popular markets in Europe. It is mainly for tourists. The range is pleasing to the eye, but it is arranged more for tasting and viewing. As are the prices :D It is definitely a must-see destination for tourists in the city.
We looked at the beautifully displayed porticoes:
fried foods, empanadas, freshly fried potatoes, walking dishes, fried squid, anchovies, squid rings, boiled shrimp, octopus, duck clams, scallops, razor clams, fish, crabs, hams, meat products, spices, saffron and peppers in all quantities, fruits, as long as eye provides.
We tasted the freshly opened oysters on site.
