Brad what a gorgeous shop, that’s a persons dream workshop for sure. Flair is going to be jealous for sure. Like the colors you have picked out, or was that your wife’s picks😊. Enjoy for sure, now you have together the inside completed. Have a Great Christmas.
Great looking shop. I left western Nebraska in 1985 to avoid the cold you have now. Living in the east valley of Phoenix, it's 72 right now and tomorrow is forecast to set a new record at 80! Watching from my new, backyard 24x32 workshop with a lift. Would love having one your size! Thanks for sharing! And yes, my shop has heat and AC...
It's a minisplit. It does get down to 30 degrees some nights from Dec. through Feb. After almost 40 years here, I tend to grab a hoodie at 60, lol! -25F when we left Nebraska, 74 when we arrived. Next morning it was 45 and we didn't understand why everyone had a parka on(tee shirts for us) until the next year...
I’m glad you finally said Man Cave because that’s the nicest barn I’ve ever seen Brad, so I guess no cows, horses or pigs in that barn. Great looking Barn!! 👍👏🏼🔥 🇺🇸 ☝️🙏🙏
It's looking great, Brad. I kind of like the trim the way it is (though you've probably painted it by the time you see this, haha). The black will look fantastic, but I'd be tempted to try staining the trim on a few of the windows/doors to match the cedar posts and see what it looks like. You can always paint over it if you don't like it. The glass garage door is stunning! I would be very worried about rocks flying against it and breaking, so I"m glad it's on the other side from the helicopter door. Regardless, I'm sure you thought about that and have extra thick glass or something! The screen will be a great touch too. Looking forward to seeing you put it to use. Congrats on the new building. The crew really did do a lovely job of it. All the best, Heather🇨🇦

Awesome shop Brad, I think it is stunning and appreciate you sharing the entire build process with us. May I ask, why didn’t you go with solar panels on the roof? 21:21
Looking really nice Brad! I just finished up my man cave, 60x120x16 with in-floor heat, spray foam and heavy insulation. Really looking forward to your finishing touches! That concrete driveway is going to cost you a pretty penny!!
Nice Job the build looks great! If this build was mine I would bite the bullet now before the porch finished floor is poured/laid I would have extention steel brackets made and anchor steel column extentions to the concrete piers and cut the columns and reattach to extention to the porch support columns and making this connection last for a long time. So, you are building a barn workshop in Nebraska where it gets cold. Well, I built a 4500 Sq Ft. Barndominium in S. E. Texas where it gets Hot and Cold and the entire roof framing is INSULATED WITH 3" Fiberglass with white vinyl and aluminum foil in rolls 6 feet wide and up to 160 feet long. My open attic for the 2500 Sq Ft residence and the 1800 Sq Ft shop never gets above the outside air temp in the summer and hardly ever gets below 48 Deg F in the winter when the outside are temp is down around 25 Deg F. And, I do not have that radiant heat from the roof steel. Your whole building looks fabulous, but the hot summers and cold very cold winters may leave you very uncomfortable.

I know I'll get a lot of gruff but as a fellow builder I would never do "Anything "black outdoors,,,just like 83.7 % of car owners they will soon realize it shows EVERY spec or dust,dirt,mud,etc...love the design but in that temp I would have done Zip underlayment instead of cheap thin plastic..

Love epoxy floors, easy to clean, you can customize like you want. But a nice polished concrete floor is nice to, but not as sturdy as the epoxy.

Great job an d build!! what size are the 3 smaller square windows n the front to the right of your gable end, structure?

No cut holes or even small holes for chase wires interior lighting?? Guess I'll find out in next vid
