Sweet Desert Eagle .44 Magnum Pie! Dirty Harry would be proud. Nothing like a hand cannon video to finish off the work week. OohRah!! Links in the description.
BigDaddyHoffman1911 I really like this one B.D....I'm assuming this uses regular .44 mag revolver ammo,or does it use the"rimless"ammo like the old Wildey Auto-Mag??.HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!.
BigDaddyHoffman1911 sir I was wondering if u can swap caliber with the .357 mag ? I'm new to these de.. cause I do know the 44 can swap barrel with a .50 please explain for me
In love with the new L5 baby! Lighter, shorter, and still shoots .357, .44, .50ae!!! The L5 is a pistol you can open carry, an not have issue with weight, size. Love it!!!
I've always liked Desert Eagles, but this one had me checking the price, haha! Lightweight, .44 magnum (reasonable recoil and ammo availability), and that beautiful ported barrel! Glad to hear that those hiccups were likely just due to it being dry. And WOW, that flying brass is scary!
Just picked one up off gunbroker..should be in my home state next Wed.. Someone broke in my vehicle and stole my de .44 xix stainless😭😡..owned desert eagles for15+ years had the original mk7...for me .44 magnum has the most diverse ammunition offerings..have had 1 failure in 15 years..broken trigger spring on the mk7.. Other than limp wristing when I 1st started shooting them no issues and super accurate
Big Daddy, I'm glad you had the hired help try out that monster first ! Good job no Elder Abuse today. You keep playing with the Big Toys, you might get yourself one of those sweet young nurse chicks to administer you some sweet first aid ! Stay Safe Big Daddy !
I am starting to spread this around because some people think a gun should run flawless right out of the box without a good scrub down and this is not the case. Every gun I have ever purchased said to strip the gun down to clean and lube before first use. They use specific oils and solvents to make sure the guns don't rust while in storage before you purchase. This oil is NOT a lubricant and WILL jam your gun. It even has potential to damage your brand new firearm. I have not heard of this happening but there is no reason to take that chance.
Oil is not a lubricant?.....Hmmmm...... third world child soldiers clean their aks with gasoline and lube them with crankcase oil. And the ak keeps on strokin like a sewing machine. Whatever, dude. Reality, much? There are plenty of guys repeating b.s. in gun shops and on the internet. They don't need any new members. I'd say there is a very good reason you've never heard of it happening.
You either love the Deagle or you hate it. Personally, I adore my Deagle. It's the most fun handgun I own. I usually run mine with the 357 bolt and barrel for normal day-to-day activities.
If a grizzly was trying to eat me I would rather not have the gun jam at that moment. I love revolvers for their reliability, but those extra two rounds + one in the chamber would also come in handy! Beautiful gun.
44mag is best all around deagle caliber with availability and the power is impressive just watch any other 50ae 429de 44mag review my preference is got to be with 44mag
Quick question, did you happen to disassemble and completely clean this L5 before shooting it in for the first time or in this video? I am guessing that the slide not fully closing and bullets not ramping could be due to the type of grease they put on the gun at the factory to increase longevity in case it sits on the shelf for a long time.
the end of your video answered my question. So for all of you concerned about the couple errors this gun displayed in the video, 99% why that happened is for this exact reason. Gotta clean and lube a new gun before shooting the first time. My eyes are locked onto buying this L5 .44!!!
I've watched 3 videos on this and the 357 mag model and there's been 2 failure to feed issues. One in 44 and one in 357. Reliability may be an issue, but I guess that doesn't really matter, as these are more or less novelty pistols pistols and aren't practical for carrying
Jayman Rock They never lubed it up before firing. That plays a big part. 2nd, on some firearms that are non polymer with tight machining tolerances like SIG's for instance, you have to break them in and fire a few boxes to break in the metal on metal surfaces. Which means wear down the finish on these contact points. Then you'll experience the model of firearms reliability. Don't judge it dry out of the box. It's not a Glock (touché) 😎
They call me dessert eagle Drew because when it comes to a power firearm of a beautifully brilliant piece of a masterpiece it just let's you know don't mess with me an to have a good idea is the key to successfully own two of them now that's my kind of gun to keep concealed carry weapon approved great video information here love that powerful gun brother😉😉😂😂.
i would ask ,if you compare 44 revolver 4-5 inc vs L5 desert ,which is hitting our hand less ?not recoil .its punch our palm, even 357 magnum 4 inc revolver with 60 shots , its broken my hand
I have a few questions since I will be living In Alaska, would this be good for self defense against a bear? It holds more rounds than a revolver would so I figure it would be better, but how reliable is it in cold weather?
I own a .44 mag and a .50AE Mark XIX. I am thinking of getting the L5 (probably in .44 for cheaper ammo). How would you compare the two models? I know the specs, but how does it feel, how does it shoot? If you could only own (one) the L5 or the Mark XIX, which would it be ?
Very powerful and cool looking gun. However, 357 and 44 magnum is too much for a semi auto. Out of 50 rds, you'll prob have at least 20 hang ups, not to mention other probs. Good idea for a gun, but it's not reliable enough to waste the money. 357 and 44 mag belong in revolvers period. Just get yourself a good Glock 20 or XDm 10mm and call it a day.

hello Big Daddy from Atlanta,Ga!!! nice review of the L5 DE .44 mag
Gotta love a pistol with the power of a .44 Magnum and and the muzzle flip of a 9mm.
Gun is too big & heavy.
In love with the new L5 baby! Lighter, shorter, and still shoots
.357, .44, .50ae!!! The L5 is a pistol you can open carry, an not have issue with weight, size. Love it!!!
The Desert Eagle. The gun I don't need but I sure do want. I love that color.

Poor deagle got stolen. :(
Hopefully someday it will find its way home.
I have the one in 357 and I love that gun.
Just has the pleasure of firing the same gun. Truly a work of art these pistols are. New to shooting so this was an awesome treat.
Glad you enjoyed. Thanks Leigh.
Hows the recoil? I own a glock 19 and was thinking of picking up one of these bad boys in .44 mag.
"More knows the devil for old than for devil". Excellent, Mr. Hoffman!!!
Big Daddy rocks! We love Big Daddy!
We love Bob Wright! Keep up the fight. Thanks for watching
I sure will keep watching. All I really know how to do is fight.. And will till dead. Thank you for your awesome channel.
All I know how to do is fight. Will keep watching for sure. Woo-Hoo! or booya! whatever keeps the boat afloat!
A GREAT Father's Day gift! (you wish!) Love em!
Big Daddy, I'm glad you had the hired help try out that monster first !

I wish someone would take the newer Desert Eagle .44 and put it through a 5000 round torture test
Probably wouldnt make it half of that
@@Kevinj36541 Probably not but damn it it would be entertaining. Especially if they did a thousand rounds in one take. Major wrist pains.
Yeah i would consider a deagle in 44magnum but everything i see says they are very finicky
@@Kevinj36541 Yup. Kahr swears up and down its people limp wristing though.
Those L5 aluminum frame models probably recoil way more. Id get the heavier steel frame model in 44 mag it shouldnt be bad at all.
YOUR gun reviews are GREAT bid daddy hoffman
thank you
You either love the Deagle or you hate it.
Personally, I adore my Deagle. It's the most fun handgun I own. I usually run mine with the 357 bolt and barrel for normal day-to-day activities.
Definitely a gun that Dirty Harry would be happy to carry! Cool looking, too!
Got me one, Sweet Cheery Pie
Thanks for all your great videos
+mr.debusey my pleasure. I'm glad you enjoy them
Wow, what a nice gun! Good video BigDaddyHoffman! Very entertaining.
Very B.A! Dirty Harry would be proud to carry a gun that Big Daddy approved!! Oorah
Sweet cherry pie! OH YEAH!
That is a nice looking pistol.
If a grizzly was trying to eat me I would rather not have the gun jam at that moment. I love revolvers for their reliability, but those extra two rounds + one in the chamber would also come in handy! Beautiful gun.
Recoil doesn't look bad at all
Bob, send me a direct message. I have something for you.
I wonder how the kick back is I’m interested in getting one growing up down south I’ve been around guns all my life
I like it too! Very nice, very powerful!
I just bought one exactly like this one.
Another fun video. Beautiful handgun.
I own a early 80's model..and damn!
First time I ever seen a MR 44 hang up or slide not locking up after the last round?
Good Shooting Mr Hoffman. That's a wicked looking pistol. I hope You have an awesome Fathers Day Weekend.
you too buddy
Great shooting guys, Gotta have one
Damn sweet!!!!
I love my DE 50 AE!
Beautiful...
Sweet Cherry Pudding I saw Hilda hiding in the woods
I hear you on that Buddy Roe....lol. Thanks Gary.
Got the L6 with the rail out now
If you were to choose between a DEL5 or an DEL6 chambered in 50 AE which would you grab?
That is the Bwack Whino of pistols!
Little sticky on the feeding in 50 AE you will beat the dickens out of the recoil assembly on the L6.
3 hiccups with the canon fresh out of the box. Guess ya gotta oil'em right away before firing the 1st round
nice!!!
I've been considering entering it into the daily carry rotation ;)
I wonder how the L5 will have any long-term issues with aluminum frame using powerful calibers.
Just purchased one love your channel 2nd Amendment Forever 🇺🇸
the gold desert eagle would suit you better big d

Is this gun practical or just something cool for aesthetics vs for actual protection
Nice
Stop riding the slide and slide release/catch and you will stop having malfunctions.
Do you think this could be a reasonable conceal carry option??
Little to large for conceal carry. Thanks Max.

Nice looking firearm...just don't care for the lack of locking back consistently especially at the price point.
Run 50 He probably had his finger on the slide release
i like it .. i got space for one
Like the gun but I love this guy's white hair😊
Big Daddy, DON'T get the L6 lightweight 50AE! The recoil will be ridiculous!
God damn i got pacman fever! iwant iwant iwant

44mag Is king 🎉 all day
Where does he get those wonderful toys?
Great video, but I still prefer my old, original IWI Israeli made version.
Looking for this gun to be videos again.
Indeed......Thanks
What would be the price for one of these ???
Whats the point of running it dry?
where in N.C. are you all ?
Shoots better than the 357magnum DE 5in. But nomatter what magnum rounds it must be hi end.
Trivia: Who carried the 44 Auto Mag.?
Charles Bronson!!!! The Wildey 44 auto
you and gunsgears could ask magnum to lend Me a deagle next plz jk

Can I find a refurbished, or used one of those?
Haven't seen many used or refurbished ones, you could check GunBroker or Guns America etc.. Thanks Richard.

Dang Big Daddy. Go back to your nickel S&W model 29. I'd rather see it!
cool
indeed.
That pistol has a fucked up extractor, the Deagle doesn't normally hit the face with brass.......
anyone know is this thing legal in new york city? it is legal in new york state but city has crazier gun law.
Hopefully the 50 ae has less jamms
IT'S not jamming on them. It's their big ads thumbs on the slide.
