30 years since Lockerbie: Eyewitnesses recall bombing of Pan Am Flight 103

It’s been 30 years since the Pan Am Flight 103 bombing over Lockerbie, Scotland. Thirty-five students studying abroad with Syracuse University were killed in this terrorist attack. Large sections of the airplane crashed onto residential areas of Lockerbie, killing 11 people on the ground, right before Christmas, on Dec. 21, 1988. Eyewitnesses tell their stories about the crash and the aftermath.

The way the bodies were found in the Lockerbie meadows still strapped in their seats..was horrifying to hear..poor souls..omg.

No. The UK will NEVER submit to terrorists or change anything because of them. Let Lockerbie remain Lockerbie and never forget those who were killed.
