Pitched the tent by the quarry ruins at the back of Lingmoor. Great views over to the Coniston Fells, cloud free. Unfortunately the Sca Fell Massif and Bow Fell were in the clag! 😀🥾⛰
Another beautiful part of the Lakes, Loweswater with a beautiful lake & not too many folk 😊😊😊 another example of not having to climb the big guns for outstanding views 😀 drone footage again top notch 👍 very honest assessment about cattle, if ya don't trust em, avoid em!!! 😊😊Another excellent walk Andy, regards to Tracey & of course Billy alias The Rockstar and 🐶🐕❤

Yours and Tracy's video have convinced us to use this route. We were looking at the Thackwaith one but yours is grand. And actual parking. The views are incredible even more so since none of these are overly high. Looks like an gentle(ish) one.

Hi Andy Tracey and Billy. That view from Loweswater Fell is one of the best ive seen in the Lake District. Absolutely stunning!! We got some amazing pictures of it. We only did a straight up and down from Thackthwaite unfortunately so missed out on Fellbarrow but your route looks a decent alternative but not sure about Darling Fell, that looked a tough little down and up. I know what my missus would say 'Take the path round it' lol. Super footage and video Andy many thanks ATB

Another great vid, guys. We love that route - beautiful views for a relatively easy walk, made all the more special with a visit to The Kirkstile afterwards😊. And it's quiet, although once on Low Fell, 2 fell ponies were after our lunch 😂😂. We're guessing that old mower is still there just before you get through the gate on Mosser Old Road? Cracking video of a group of super wee fells, which are usually so quiet. I think it's hard to beat the views. Last time I did those was a winter day with snow and the visibility was astonishing. I'm with you on the cattle as well - always been scared of them after a few near misses. I think also, even if they seem unconcerned with you, in a confined space near a gate or stile, that's just a lot of weight on the hoof and they can be unpredictable, as can horses. And the sheep on the Helvellyn ridge can have your butties off you before you can blink! LOL Billy is so funny with his stone collecting. And you're right, there's some fells I can't understand aren't Wainwrights and some that are and you think, why?!
Galloways are the only cows I trust Irene....everything else no chance. I used to think horses where ok...lol but don't trust them either now (had a couple of run ins) ...Sheep are cool especially my la'al Herdwick friends. Walked round Loweswater last week at 7am in the morning. Glorious. Will be heading for these fells next. Thanks again for a great video. By the way, I may have missed them but, have you done the Northern Fells( Brae fell, Longlands, Little sca fell etc). Lovely and quiet. Apologies if you have already explored them ...
