Hi
I want a solution please help
I have purchased namecheap vps hosting for mails server creation
But domain in GoDaddy
I want dns part for my mail service
And I have cpanel with namecheap
If I understand your question correctly, this is what you need to do. Identify the IP address of your VPS. In Godaddy create an A record with the IP of your VPS. You'll also need to create MX records, for example: Name: @, Type: MX, Priority:10, Value: mail.yourdomain.com
Create Cname record, for example: Name:mail, Type: CNAME, Value: yourdomain.com
Create TXT record for SPF with the following value: v=spf1 a mx ip4:your_vps_ip ~all
Don't forget about DKIM and DARC records.
In cpanel, create email accounts. Go to the "Email" section and select "Email Routing". Ensure that "Local Mail Exchanger" is selected if your mail server is hosted on the same VPS.
In cPanel, go to the "Email" section and select "Authentication." Enable both DKIM and SPF. This will automatically generate the necessary DNS records, which you should then copy to GoDaddy as shown above.
Too long video make it more complicated, i remember pointing domain is copying name servers from one place to another. Just watching it for review. Dislike.
There are different ways to point a domain to a website, not just copying and pasting nameservers.
