As a fellow roadster driving Persian, I approve of this commuter. I use to drive 60 miles a day for work in a 2008 Honda S2000. Such a fun commuter, it would do the same thing on uneven surfaces. Hardtop helps a lot with road noise. Now it’s retired to a weekend car.

i don't know if it's just mine, but I notice I need new spark plugs every 6-10 months (about 6000 miles) to have good fuel economy. With fresh plugs I'll get 22-23 in city traffic, but after a couple months it's down to 20 and after a year it goes to 17. Highway is similar. I'll start off getting about 36, then it works it's way down to 25 over a year

That seems like a short life span for spark plugs. I havent changed mine, but probably will soon.

I think there's something going on that is killing your plugs. Is it running rich?

another tip for videos, your antenna unscrews and happens to be the exact same size as a standard tripod. I have a stick style 360 degree camera and it catches amazing views

you have exactly the same stuff in your trunk as me. also in plastic bags. also in the same place. I have some kind of elastic straps and a cubby in mine that is great for holding window cleaner, the quick clean and bottle of liquor ;)

I drove my Pontiac Solstice GXP for 35 hours straight last month and I don't have the same issue with you jumping up and down on bad bumps and my front end doesn't bounced like yours on the video. Are you sure your suspensions are ok?

If you still own this car, the national meet is coming your way. It’s in Taos NM for 2025.
    But 26 is in Canada

They’re called North American Solstice and Sky Annual Meets (NASSAM)

Now just imagine if you had a Tesla using Enhanced Auto Pilot (EAP). You could have it control the brakes, accelerator, and steering and just relax a bit in traffic.

b0n3z fun fact: the same guy who designed the Tesla Model S also designed the Pontiac Solstice :)

Test drove Solstice GXP, cramped cabin, high front end hood, no trunk, etc.
Miata MX 5 was the ideal choice, worry free driving, cost of ownership.

I had two Miatas and now a Solstice. I prefer the Solstice over either Miata. I also don’t need the trunk space.
