- THE SUDAN WAR - IS IT A FORGOTTEN WAR OR IS A CIVIL WAR IMMINENT? PLO Lumumba. World on Fire ep4.
Sudan is currently at war, and it is a forgotten war. The war in Sudan has not been highlighted as much and does not also receive media attention it deserves. There are several forces involved and even more proxies in this war. Who will stand for the people of Sudan?
On this episode of LUMUMBA Explains, he digs into the war in Sudan and why the world is quiet about it. The African Union has not yet been keen on negotiating for peace in Sudan. The Intergovernmental Authority on Development Africa (IGAD) had fronted Kenya as the lead peace negotiator, but Sudan rejected this move as they didn’t find Kenya a fair arbitrator. Sudan is huge in size and resources and the war has an impact across the African continent both on the economic front and further on humanitarian crisis. Who is benefitting from this war when Africa is pushing for the silencing of the guns? The concern now for all should be, is a civil war imminent?

10/10 love from Sudan 🇸🇩🇬🇦
I'm from Sudan, and I have been following professor Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba's lectures for over a decade. I have always been amazed by his remarkable skills and insights when analyzing African affairs. To the point, and after one year into this deadly war in Sudan; I promise you that no one has ever explained it as it's; in reality.
All media outlets present this issue from the angle of their benefits and agenda, and it always goes stray.
If African leaders are interested in the interests of their countries and people; all Africans in diaspora will return back to Africa.
Thank you guys for all the work and love... shoot for the moon!
Thank you Prof Lumumba! Diplomacy in Africa needs to step up, we are still seeing a fractured Africa, economically, politically, and from a safety stand point
Thank you, Prof Lumumba, for bringing this up; the Sudanese conflict is becoming more complex as many players have their interests and agendas. In addition to what you said regarding the supporters who are fulfilling this war, the UAE's role in the crisis is obvious by injecting money, weapons, etc., but what is surprising is the absence of an African vision to find a solution to this crisis.
كل كلمه قلتها أنها صحيح لك التحية والتقدير والاحترام ❤
Legendary Prof PLO Lumumba ,The enemy of truth is blind acceptance,Keep up your good work ,much appreciated.UK UP
Thank you Prof for coming out for the Sudanese historical problem. It is true that the agenda of Arab generals in Sudan has always been to Islamize and Arabized all sudanese communities even the non Arabs
Why not. When 92% are Muslims
Prof Lumumba ....u forget Eritrea 🇪🇷 a peaceful Sudan 🇸🇩 is good to Eritrea an all the surrounding countries as as the world....African needs really like Prof. Lumuba to lead Africans in peaceful and respectful 🙏
Thanks pro lumamba for sharing our sufering to the world
In my humble opinion I believe the problem of Sudan is threefold: number one racism, number two the military, and number three involving religion with politics. May God help us.
How you know there is greed , the war is between Muslims and similar tribes, basically cousins. Sudan is corrupted
Sounds like something any European would say, you're getting there
@@MJtotheGhost Am African from the indigenous tribe of Africa. You are already blaming others and we are the blame.
And the funniest thing is that those who called themselves Arabs are minority in SUDAN before and after SOUTH SUDAN breakaway
@@mabiorgarang2998are you serious about this information! It is totally wrong !
Love you Prof form Sudan ❤
Thanks a lot prof Lumumba,
The conflicts in Sudan, Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso are all part of a larger struggle for liberation from colonization, like a war of decolonization.
Its been known that RSF militia are suported by UAE and some EU counteries; in order to take Sudan's resources...and they sold some african leaders in AU and kinia and ethiopia and tchad, unfortunatly.
It's interesting to see how similar movements for independence and decolonization have emerged in various regions. These struggles often share common themes and goals.
We will win the war against RSF and thier supporters.
U r wrong RSF is totally be established and funded by UAE without UAE without RSF and Janjeweed
RSF don't have money they rely on Robbery they controlled many banks many resources and behind those they also be funding by UAE
Kenya chad my gift for you
Exactly 💯
I really hope to see someone addressing the problem in sudan by simply saying the root cause of everything thing that went wrong in the past 3 decades and still going on which is the Muslim brotherhood.. Once you set eyes on this organization everything is explainable...
Love from Sudan 🇸🇩 ❤❤

Appreciate it Prof Lumumba
Thank you professor Lumuba. Sudan needs attention, the effects are realistic and if nothing is done on time it will be disastrous!!!
Hello professor I am Sudanese and I do tell the world our war is very very complicated, through history I have never seen such a complicated war, it's about ,race, superiority and ethnic ego
It is not difficult to say that is not a war that is occupied , ya zool🤦
Could PLO Lumumba do podcast on the protracted situation in the eastern region of DRC? The backstory of the tensions between DRC and Rwanda as well what could be a way forward for sustainable regional peace.
Thanks alot prof lumumba❤
This man is incredible.. Guyana awaits your arrival, Guyana welcomes you… The people need enlightenment, they are subjugated by their own minds and pigment driven.. 🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾
excellent speech prof Lumumba
Love you plo 👏🏾👏🏾
Thank You very much
All excellent evaluations and I think you summed it up when you stated there are egos involved so negotiations are of little good until you please their egos so acknowledging their ego and pleasing their ego by offering concessions to the major sticking points in negotiations and wait for resolution if not then try again Shalom Thee Alfa House
Well said Prof
Thank you
Thank so much
Well said
Absolutely true prof
Thanks malam lombubo
African Union must step forward to play its role in resolving conflicts affecting African countries. Both generals in Sudan don't have a future for this country. what we see on the ground is that every one of them is fighting for his own interests and the interests of the arab world.
AU don't have such big power to establish a African United army AU can only suggest🤣
@komiMusaBar
With all due respect you really don't understand what is going on in the current war of Sudan and this is reflected in the reckless words which you have written . The truth is that the RSF is fighting theas a proxy puppet for a well known rich country in the middle East and they have committed henious crimes such as rape, looting, , unlawfull detention and extrajudicial killing and occupation of homes were innocent civilians were living . These crimes were confirmed by many independent international organisations and moreover by mobile phones of the RSF members who have shared such films in the media without any pity or remorse the crimes they committed. How could you say with such ignorance and lack of info sa( that the Sudanese army is fighting for its own intersts and for the arab world !!!!! ) while the truth is that they are actually fighting a war as all armies in all nations would do defending the lives, property and integrity of millions of victimised Sudanese civilians in order to expell the RSF bandits and their foreign mercenaries from homes of innocent unarmed civilians . Africa is a contintent which has many brilliant intellectual brains like this professor but sadly it's organisations like the AU and EGAD are also plagued by many incompetent leaders and corrupt heads of state who never had the courage to denounce the inhumane and terrible crimes committed by the RSF and their mercenaries against the innocent unarmed civilians in Sudan yet still are very vocal against the Sudanese army . The people of Sudan deserve and expect solidarity, and a more honest , non -biased and decent attitude expressing genuine African brotherhood in the face of such horrendous crimes by the RSF against unarmed innocent civilians.
@@saifdosa9020these words are reckless because you people don't like the truth. who gave power to these so-called RSF? and for what reasons.
@@KomiMusaBarlaman-ds3qy I am Sudanese myself, the role of former regime and its party (Muslim brotherhood party) are undobtly obvious.
Some people insist to bring out the RSF crimes and deliberately oversight the role of Muslim brotherhood in controlling the army behind the scenes.
Burhan is their puppet as well as Hemdti is the Emarati's puppet.
Burhan and Hanedti are war criminals.
They used to be allies and led a coup against the revolution transitional government after Sudan revolution.
Both sides are bad, you're right.
Wow! The lesson is broken down by Mr Lumumba.
By Professor PLO Lumumba 👍
at last....talking about itt means; there is a light at the end of the tunnel...thanks dr lomumba...
Thanks you for your Care in Africa issues
But I wish to have course for African guys in order to know our issues and to go ahead in solf it

Hello a professor actually your analysisation it true about the war in sudan it so complicated. Iam Sudanese and what you have mentioned it's true
Very good video i like were you are putting youre powerfull energy in fixing youre home land africa than worrying about what Europe is doing.i would advise all sides fighting each other on earth that no one wins a war for all you done was kill & be in competition with youre fellow earthlings which is the spirit split into multiple vessels experiencing life and will some times makes mistakes now once people is educated to this level war will be no more for humanity will be too advanced & wise to keep running into brick walls and being losers at life
Much love from Sudan 🇸🇩 ❤️ our big problem is arabs
Sudan are mix of Arabs and African and no need for the racism here !!
I hope peace come Sooner rather than late...

Unfortunately they never listened to Dr Garang ë Mabior...
Come forward Afrika Union, unity is strength
Sudan is one of the active countries and has a presence and contributions at the global, continental, and regional levels, and in neighboring countries. Refugee migrations were flowing to it along its vast borders. It had a role in resolving conflicts, especially in the Arab and African regions alike. It also had an effective role in the League of Arab States, the Organization of African Unity, and other countries. Non-Alignedness and the Organization of the Islamic Conference also contributed to standing with the liberation movements and a large support for international and regional organizations, and it always played the role of positive neutrality in resolving political conflicts in the Middle East and the African continent, and now when it stumbled in resolving its political crisis, which turned into a military conflict and a fierce war that destroyed, killed, and displaced, and is still doing so. Its fire is raging, and everyone has abandoned it, whether it is the United Nations, the Arab League, the Organization of African Unity, or even the Islamic Conference. This is for history. We thank those who had and participated, even if only by opinion, and we thank you for that.
Since information is power, African need have a media through which its important info are broadcasted
Thanks prof, but it's not a war for power, that's how it appears, but there's a podcast on TH-cam with the title UAE is destroying Sudan, it explains what's going on in Sudan,
That is exactly what happened
bravo prof.you have put if correctly, only needs implementation.
We all her and their but who's can cover the ☀️ sun to do not race tomorrow

When are you going to talk about the war in Congo please?? Kagame is killing Congolese and no one is talking about it at all.
What of the Congolese killing each other? Does DRC have any defence forces to protect it's own people?

What's the difference between Sudan and Haiti,???????
They are two different countries halfway round the globe from one another. Next question?????
They are halfway round the globe from each other. Next question??????
Wow Haïti has the same raise as us on the same time but we’re more about Arabs because no no slavery is we gonna be , look up Malcom x last visit before he got murder
Haiti is from Caribbean Islands
Absolutely that is all wrong , RFS's people are Africans not Sudanese at all , even south Sudan soldiers and Ethiopian government are fight there against Sudanese civilians, I was in the capital as the war was began , none knows our great country better than us , thx
So much pictures pointed by you but those can be solved by the way all Sudanes needs it not by see this kind and women been moving them by forcing them those things to left other people and down some people which couase sadness and unhealthy happy life in the world
majority of politicals Africa life colonization
Corruption is allover Sudan..
On the contrary, it's not a war of power and control but rather a rebellion. RSF leader greedy for power that was not within his reach. And the result is death and destruction. But you African you can't let it go without mentioning Arab and Arabization.

Be clear understood.. the African union is very weak... Even as we are sudanese sporting the African union.... hopefully we need the solutions coming from Africa Union not from that Arabs unions....stop war.....
