Thanks Cimooo for doing this interview. I was using my webcam instead of the DSLR, so forgive the quality!! I really enjoy water, and breaking decks through deckbuilding. Haha the combo is so degenerate, so it isn't as "fun" for my opponent, but its fun for me in the sense that its something different than what the current meta has to offer in terms of eldlich and adamancipator. If you watched Farfas video today, you'll find out that he played through 4 interruption and OTK with just adamancipator cards/rock cards, and so in order to compete with a degenerate meta, you have to build a degenerate rogue deck to compete. Also to clarify Megalo being a brick as well as Aria ect, they're bricks for what my deck hopes to accomplished. This isn't a pure water deck ,its a noodle fiber turbo deck with minstrel to help you play through Nibiuru, and megalo to get an extra Handloop for 2. So full combo, would be Draw 2, handloop 2, VFD all through 1 diva. I hope you guys enjoy this profile - and I hope to improve content for ya'll. Shoutout to Cimoo again for this interview, I'd really enjoy talking to him hes a great person to talk to for an interview! Nice list, can you tell me why people are playing the rose garden synchro? Like I understand you need a non tuner synchro lvl 5 for the combo but not why this one specifically.

Elias Ch probably late but when I’m gy it summons coral dragon to finish the combo and get true king on field by enabling 2 level 9s on field

I know how you feel man, I used to play Pure Atlanteans in 2012, against all these threatening Mermails all of the time. It's not worth the pain, just stick with the mix of them, Mermails make Atlanteans good, remember this.
Hm. Is there a place to have your deck list uploaded so that it can be "judged" in a constructive manner? The only way i can play is via Legacy of the Duelist on switch, so there are different limits on cards and such. I would like to know so i can build nifty decks but have a means to have suggestions on what to replace or remove to make it more viable (yet fun)
This is brought up cause I want to copy this deck (i love water monsters) but in LotD you cannot use 3 of pot of avarice, deep sea diva, ash blossom, nor is Deep sea minstrel even in the game...

This format just seems so toxic and it feels like you're options are very limiting. Every combo is an essential ftk and I see too many duels where the opponent just scoops after like 2 summons.

This is exactly what i'm worried about and why I hope Moulinglacia gets banned soon. Why is this hand loop card ok when Gumblar, Trish and Omega aren't? It's arguably worse since it's searchable with Atlantean Dragoons. Mermail is a very slept on deck I feel that can do some very scary stuff with the right tool. I mean what's worse than a board of multiple negates? A board of multiple negates that rips cards out of your hand. If you really want to, you can use Needlefiber to summon Desert Locust during your opponent's turn to make them lose another card.

Moulinglacia isn't a problem, and it never has been. Take away Auroradon and the deck is fine.
@@Harmonic14 It's preventing it from becoming a problem. Taking it away doesn't even change anything in the deck. Mermails can still do everything they originally could.
Auroradon is a problem card, but that's a completely different discussion.
@@MrChillaxin2010 Yes, that's exactly my point. Mermails were never a problem because of Moulinglacia, and if they go back to doing what they always did, they will continue to be a non-issue.

@@joey-js9pr Because there are less chances to open it if it's at 1 and also you wouldn't have engage into engage into engage, that card can be fair only either at 1 or 0

With that extra deck you might as well play eldlich or adamancipator
or people can play what they find fun as well as incorporating the current OP combo

That profile is creative, but playing no Deep Sea Aria is a joke to me. Who wouldn't play a ROTA for his deck?! It's nearly impossible to brick adding 3 copies of Aria into the deck. Cutting Megalo is ok I guess but I think you have play at least one. 3 avarice is too much. Borrelsword should be in the extra deck. The extra in general isn't flexible enough. I love the idea behind the water charmer that's insane! Overall the list is ok, but that's it.
The engine can get itself going without a lot of searches that’s probably what he thought.
You can only activate 1 Aria per turn and you have to banish a Water from the Graveyard to activate it. If you open a hand of 3-4 spells including 1+ Arias, then you've bricked. Also the versions playing what you recommend haven't topped despite all the effort people have put forward. This version has. I think it's safe to say he knows what he's doing.
@@machina5 i play mermail competitively for 4 years now. I qualified for the European Championship with the deck and competed with it. Believe me guys. This card never bricks! It searches Deep Sea Minstrel to make your combo safer, it searches extra Dragoons to search out more out of the deck, it searches Heavy Infantry to break boards better, it baits out handtraps when your hand is already stabil, it searches an extra Neptabyss or Diva for next turn. This card does it all! I play the frog engine, too and this brings Aria every hand online.

Mulligan is for shit card games which are very bricky to begin with and cannot function without it.
Imagine if Rock or Golden Boi deck could win an event

This completely destroys the already paper thin defense of Halqifibrax and potentially the token generators: you do not need jet synchron at all for the basic form of the Adam/Evelich combo. It should have been obvious that any Tuner that effectively summons another monster or something similar to jet, such as plaguespreader, are just as competent. As long as Halqifibrax and/or the tokenators are legal, this combo will exist. Jet synchron being banned does almost nothing aside from make it just slightly less splashable.

A great deck turned into another ftk that can even take away your hand trap. Konami should stop this bs format
Id like to say that this isnt that good take out niberu and add moray of greed for 1. 2 i would like say that id take out imperm and 1 ash and 1 CBTG for 3 swamp frogs those of which help make insane turn 2 plays. This deck can be good going first and even better going second but with my implemented changes u will see in the next online pro play tourny i will for sure take top cut if not win the whole thing. Swamp frog makes the deck live at any time and also is a much needed card as is throwing in a single copy of ronintoadin for added support. 41 isnt much and moray helps bait out ash. Furthermore id add a single copy of crimson blader. Which is broken against admancipators and eldlich as well as pendulums and heros all of which are in this format and make it so ur oppenent cannot yugioh.
I hope you know that swap doesn't trigger Atlantans...

@@awesometubing9471 Swap Frog doesn't activate to summon itself, so it doesn't trigger Atlantean effects. Stop relying on 3rd party dueling games for your rulings.
Also, your suggestions for the deck aren't good. Pak went in depth on why he doesn't play Moray and Swap Frog, 3 CBTG is necessary in a combo deck in a handtrap-heavy format, and the 3 hand traps you want to cut down or remove are the 3 best hand traps of the format. You don't need more help going 2nd when you have 3 Avarice, and you wrap up the game on turn 1 with the standard combos most of the time anyway.
